Nova Launcher and wallpaper in portrait

I installed Nova Launcher and Multipicture Live Wallpaper. I set with this software a 1080p wallpaper and it's perfect, but when I try to rotate my tablet in portrait mode I only see the center of wallpaper, so it's very cropped!
How can I solve this problem? Is there a solution?
Same problem with Apex Launcher & Go Launcher.

A reboot of the tablet works for me!
Same problem. Nova premium and last android update 4.1.1.
Same here, with Nova Launcher if I set a static wallpaper it looks good in landscape, but as I rotate it in portrait I have almost half of the bottom wallpaper going black (and cutting the wallpaper exaclty as if it was in landscape)

Works great here too using Apex. Icons & widgets still are cut off on some screens in portrait, but it is launcher related as the stock launcher switches views correctly. (Messing with grid sizes helps a bit)

The solution :
Works with every launcher
1 - Long touch on an empty part of desktop
2 - Wallpaper
3 - Animated wallpaper
4 - Asus MyFrame
5 - Settings
6 - Select a wallpaper
7 - Set reading option on "static"
8 - Back
9 - Select
10 - Enjoy

WOW!!! Thank you very very much!!:good::good:
Looks like the latest update finally fixed the wallpaper cropping problem. Just select "Nova Wallpaper" to crop correctly. No longer necessary to use a live wallpaper.

[Q] How to stop Wallpaper scrolling?

Other than only using 1 screen with the default launcher or another launcher like Nova, is there any way to turn off wallpaper scrolling? Or is there an option I'm not seeing that lets me crop a wallpaper for portrait only?
With Nova, there is an option to disable wallpaper scrolling in the settings under desktop. Not sure about the stock launcher, Nova was the first thing I installed.

Scrolling wallpaper

Anybody able to get their wallpaper to scroll as they change screens?
I have tried the HTC launcher as well as Nova with no luck. Also tried forcing it within Nova and tried using Wallpaper Wizardii as well.

In Nova Launcher, I found that it will only scroll if I used Muzei as a live wallpaper. I didn't want the Blurring/Dimming of Muzei so I just decreased both settings =\
Mine isn't scrolling as well. Thinking what to use too so it will work and scroll.

Don't scroll wallpaper

Hi
I'm using Muzei and for some reason it's scaling the images to be spread across the multiple home screens.
Is there anyway in CM11S to have it fixed? That way the image will be nicely centred on my screen.
Thanks
Paul
Use Nova Launcher. The option is in the settings under the desktop settings.
OK I know Nova does, but I'm after it for Trebuchet in CM11S
Hi,
Is this non scroll wallpaper solve? I'm looking for this function as well rather than using others launcher.
Thanks

[Q] Different wallpaper crop options on the z2 and z3 with lollipop?

Hello to all! I wanted to use a picture as wallpaper on portrait mode on my xperia z3 and I see I do not have that option.
It always asks to crop the pic. Also I do not have the option to use a static wallpaper and it always have to rotate.
My brother has the xperia z2 and can do everything I stated before! Is this normal?
I twitted sony but have no response after 48 hours and hoped that you will have the answer as always.
Just so you know we both updated to lollipop recently.
Thank you!!!!
I made the thread in the wrong section! I should do it in questions and answers! I searched but did not find how and If I can do it myself!

Moved to Z3 Q&A
Wouldn't mind an answer to this myself. I have a lot of wallpapers that are tall rather than wide and they are unusable with the cropping option I've given. :-/
I know I could use Nova Launcher but I'd rather know if there is a way to make this work with the default launcher.
I installed Google now launcher and use its wallpaper picker to apply those tall and portrait-typed wallpapers on default launcher.

That's weird. I tried that but the only way I can get it to work is to assign GNL as my default launcher, go and set the wallpaper, then set the Xperia Launcher back as default.
You need to long-press on homescreen and then choose Wallpapers and then another Wallpapers which is the wallpaper picker of GNL.
I noticed that there is no way to have a ''still'' portrait type wallpaper on the xperia z3.it has to be moving left and right and doesn't gives us that option. On the z2 if you choose a portrait wallpaper you don't have to crop it and it stays still on all screens... I cannot understand why they did this. I only found a way to do it on the default launcher. You have to choose photo slideshow live wallpaper and only choose the one wallpaper you like. The only thing i am not sure about is if it will have an effect on battery life.
