Anybody able to get their wallpaper to scroll as they change screens?
I have tried the HTC launcher as well as Nova with no luck. Also tried forcing it within Nova and tried using Wallpaper Wizardii as well.

In Nova Launcher, I found that it will only scroll if I used Muzei as a live wallpaper. I didn't want the Blurring/Dimming of Muzei so I just decreased both settings =\
Mine isn't scrolling as well. Thinking what to use too so it will work and scroll.

I installed the GO Launcher EX that came with the Google Apps RAR in the developer forum and noticed that I am unable to set my own custom wallpaper. I am only able to set a Live wallpaper or the default one that comes with GO Launcher EX. Anyone else have this problem?
When I attempt to do so, I go to the gallery, select my picture, crop and size it, then try to set it. It does the whole "Saving" thing but when returning back to the launcher, nothing has changed.
I've tried both from the Wallpaper option on "Menu" as well as under Theme Settings in GO Launcher EX.
Also, anyone know of a way to change the Amazon lock screen? The Amazon lock screen is still present after installing GO Launcher EX and will change the wallpaper to one of the random lock screen ones after turning off the screen and locking the device anyway...
Thanks in advance!!
EDIT: I should also note that I am rooted.
I have the same problem but am not rooted. I would love to disable Amazon's rotating wallpaper in favor of one of Go Laucher's.
I was planning on going into the system files and locate the folder its pulling the wallpapers from. Hopefully all we have to do is replace them with the wallpapers we like. Go launcher wallpaper doesn't shift left and right for me either when screen moving.

the problem seems to lie in the Fire's own stock lock screen. given the fact that it is rooted, see if you can disable the stock lock screen (using No Lock from the android market) and replacing it with something like Go Locker or WidgetLocker (though some say WidgetLocker doesn't work well)

The wallpaper for the launcher is located in the launchers apk. The wallpapers for the lockscreen are in framework-res.apk the standard place for an aftermarket launcher to pull wallpapers from is framework-res.apk (correct me if I'm wrong. The rom would pretty much have to be custom to fix this. Therefore it would be best for us to get a working recovery(twrp or clockwork using short presses to move through menus and long presses to select) then focus on ICS or HC(probably better off ICS) so we have a soft home, menu, back button.
Then changing wallpapers would be a breeze.

I got no lock to work. Same solution used to get Android Market to work. Get Titanium Backup installed (need the paid version) and you can use it to change the installed No Lock app to a system app. Reboot and it works fine. Will need to have your Kindle Fire Rooted.
Ok, Now I have No Log working, but how do I replace the Lock Screen?
GO Launcher EX wallpaper, make it stick
It's not a question of disabling the locker; regardless of whether the phone locks or not, the default Kindle slider screen appears on wake-up, and after sliding, the default Kindle wallpaper is there instead of GO Launcher's wallpaper.
I, too, am greatly annoyed by this.
If pyrostic is right, then regrettably there's no simple way to fix this. Which would suck. (Many of us are not developers.)
Widget locker works well for changing the lockscreen wallpaper at least..

It won't stay after you restart.
Benjyp's procedure worked for me. I posted more specifics about what you can do about them.

OK. I've got the wallpapers to not change back to the Amazon ones by changing permissions on the /data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper file, but I can't get scrollable wallpapers to work. I'm using the long rainbow one that came with Go Launcher but it's fixed and won't scroll. I've tried changing the settings in Go Launcher to the Default setting (to allow scrolling wallpapers) but that didn't help.
Anyone else having this problem?
Would you mind sharing how you changed permissions? I.e. what app used and changed from/to what?
My mom downloaded a live wallpaper and like the others, it keeps getting changed back.
so to stop it from changing wallpapers you have to root it?
yea gotta root to stop it from changing wallpapers. I feel like a solution will come out that doesnt require root...hopefully

Thanks, that solution works for me.
My wallpapers seem to not size properly in adw. Not sure if its an ics problem. Tried factory wiping, reinstalling the rom, and deleting adw after clearing cache and prefs. Its fine with the normal ics launcher. Any ideas?
Well we need more info than that.... are the sides being cropped or ??
Then again You should use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper app
Try using Live Picture Wall Paper

Try wallpaper wizardrii. It works great. No more zoomed wallpapers in ADW Ex

I know this is a little old, but thanks a ton. This app is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Perfect.
I searched and didn't find anything about this. I am unable to change the lock screen wallpaper. I am on Nova Launcher Prime, using the Cobalt Icon Pack. I have tried going through settings, I have tried long pressing the screen and choosing wallpaper. I never get the option for "both" and when I go to the lock screen wallpaper through settings it doesn't give Cobalt as an option, only Wallpaper Gallery and Gallery. Neither of which have Cobalt in them.
Any ideas?
Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

Have you tried Settings>Display>Lockscreen>Wallpaper? This is what I have done, and it has always worked for me.

this works when I am not using Nova Launcher, but since I am using Nova Launcher it has been a no go. Kinda surprised by the lack of activity on here lately, this forum used to be my go to for all answers.
When I first got the pixel, I seemed to be able to apply wallpapers that would automatically center the wallpaper on my single homescreen. I experimented with some widgets on a second screen for awhile, then I removed the second screen altogether. Now when I go to set any wallpaper, it will center it on what would be the center between two screens (so on the right edge of my screen), but I only have one. Is there any way to set this behavior? It's very annoying to have to manually center wallpapers on my single screen. If I install Nova, I can center the wallpapers no problem using Nova launcher, but I can't seem to do this anymore using the pixel launcher.

Did you remove the blank 2nd home screen the widgets were on?

Yes, mentioned that in the OP. I've removed the second screen with the widgets and icons. I only have a single homescreen right now, long pressing the homescreen only shows the one.
Sorry just saw the widgets were removed not the secondary screen

Ah I see that the wording there was confusing, I just edited it for clarity, Thanks.
You said it centers when applied with Nova right? Can you set it with Nova and then swap back to Pixel or does it automatically adjust when changing the launcher? I deleted the pixel launcher so I can't test.

I can just leave Nova installed, but not use it as the default launcher and I still get the option to use it to set the wallpaper which is a workaround. I'd like to not have to leave Nova installed if I'm not using it though.
Im using Nova launcher btw. Dont know if thats why, but i've also tried setting the wallpaper using thebuilt in wallpaper setter in nova and still cant set a scrollable one.
SOLVED: Set the the force allow scrollable wallpaper option on
I've never used nova launcher, try using google now launcher, scrollable wallpaper is available
