Does anyone know how to change just the lock screen image on the Captivate? I know on Sense UI you go to set a wall paper you choose to set the lock or home screen.
Does anyone know a hack or work around on the captivate? I don't like having pictures as a background on the phone (doesn't work well with 7 screens) however I want my daughters picture for my lock screen.

Great question, I was just wondering this myself.
I would love to set a different image for my lockscreen than my wallpaper.

Sorry to dig this thread up, but has anybody had any luck with this? I tried both LockBot and Lock 2.0 and while they do the trick, the consistently fail to activate fast enough. The stock lock screen is instantaneous, while these aftermarket apps have a delay between when you turn the phone on to when the app locks the phone.
I' finding that my galaxy S2 is unlocking in my pocket regularly and changing settings, calling people and opening apps. This is very bad for obvious reasons and I'm looking for a solution.. I currently have resorted to having a passcode to unlock but it's less than ideal. I don't like the pattern idea much either - this isn't to stop people getting into my phone (I'd like people to be able to) it's to stop my pocket unlocking the phone.
I was hoping there was something similar to pattern unlock - a shape unlock. So instead of sliding across to unlock you slide through a circle or something instead..
Any suggestions?
I've had this problem as well. I try placing the phone in my pocket with the display facing away from me. Another thing you could do is to get a pouch or a display cover for your phone...
thanks for the reply, I'm not really happy with a pouch.. I did try having the screen out - I just feel like if I bump into anything it'll crack pretty easily (in my job this could happen easily)
I don't like passcode or pattern unlock screen too, neither stock unlock, so I use Widget Locker from market. You can find many on market to suits you best.
I have searched all over looking for some type of port for this lock screen. I just updated my girls Razor Maxx to ICS, and it has it on there. Just wondering if there's any way that we could have this on our Skyrockets! Don't know if someone can port it, & make it into a zip file. Just curious, and would love to also have it on my phone. Very convenient to me..

Go launcher has those locks screens, I'm not sure if you can just use a go lock screen or you have to be running the launcher too

The Display of my Samsung Galaxy S3 is Broken. But i still need to Use it.
Is thare a way to Share the screen on the Phone on my PC without using the Phone itselft?
Because the Screen is totaly black. But i was able to unlock it with my Pin and my Unlock-Matrix.. i could use it.
But it is impossible to install an app or so without see something.

I have been playing around with my car Bluetooth audio, trying to pair it up (was a nightmare). However I have noticed now that I have a second kind of lock screen? It's the little lock button on the bottom of the screen.
This stops me from using my finger print unless I swipe up to unlock, the first screen? To then gain access to Samsung's lock screen? It's so annoying! Can anyone tell me what it is and how I remove?

That is just an annoying aspect of the operating system. I hate it but there is no way to remove it.
I had same problem, the only way I could find to remove was to disable smart lock in settings.
