Does anyone know how to change just the lock screen image on the Captivate? I know on Sense UI you go to set a wall paper you choose to set the lock or home screen.
Does anyone know a hack or work around on the captivate? I don't like having pictures as a background on the phone (doesn't work well with 7 screens) however I want my daughters picture for my lock screen.

I would love to set a different image for my lockscreen than my wallpaper.
Lockbot , market app can do that.

Sorry to dig this thread up, but has anybody had any luck with this? I tried both LockBot and Lock 2.0 and while they do the trick, the consistently fail to activate fast enough. The stock lock screen is instantaneous, while these aftermarket apps have a delay between when you turn the phone on to when the app locks the phone.

I've had the Transformer for about a month now and this is the first hiccup.
On the main homescreen there's a vertical bar on the far right with the five icons/shortcuts anchored there. The background under those icons is scrambled- the rest of the homescreen is fine, as are all of the other homesscreens. Rebooting doesn't help, changing the wallpaper doesn't either. I'm using Wallpaper Wizardrii, have been since I got the device, so I don't think that caused the problem either.
Any idea what I could do to fix it? Thanks!
I have never seen this issue. I would uninstall the 3rd party wall paper and see if it helps. Don't forget to power cycle the unit.

No luck. Before I unlock the screen the [stock] background image completely fills the screen and there's no scramble. When I unlock the screen the image squeezes over to the left a little to make room for the vertical taskbar and the scramble appears (under the 5 icons). So something weird is happening when the image resizes.
I just remembered that even when I was using one of my photos as wallpaper it was not scrambled until the screen was unlocked. In Android's version of screensaver mode the pictures fill the screen and there's no scramble.
Using Multipicture Live now but problem still there. It's not a big deal (still love this tablet!) but I would like to know what's going on and how to fix it.
Anybody else experience this partial-scramble? I got a random reboot yesterday- first time. All I'd done since I started this thread is uninstall the wallpaper wizardrii program, reboot/power cycle a few times, and then download and install the new wallpaper (multipicture live) program.
Still hoping for help with this
Hi, I have a HTC Droid Incredible and I am now running CM7 and I love everything about it. but, I would like to improve my experience my changing different things. for example the Lock screen delay is way to short. I am talking about when you press the power button and just look at the lock screen for the time or whatever. my question is, is there anyway to make it longer than the 3 seconds that its set on now?
Another thing I realized that you could have different wallpapers for just the lock screen and your default. I was hoping there was a way to make the lock screen wallpaper a live wallpaper while the default something different. Is there any way of doing this? I ask this because i have a weather LWP that tells me what the weather is on my lock screen but i don't like it as my default wallpaper.

I have searched all over looking for some type of port for this lock screen. I just updated my girls Razor Maxx to ICS, and it has it on there. Just wondering if there's any way that we could have this on our Skyrockets! Don't know if someone can port it, & make it into a zip file. Just curious, and would love to also have it on my phone. Very convenient to me..

Go launcher has those locks screens, I'm not sure if you can just use a go lock screen or you have to be running the launcher too

I searched for this but could not find anything, so my apology if I overlooked it somewhere.
Just bought my Galaxy SIII through Verizon, Android version 4.0.4 ICS. Everything is still stock except for changing the wallpapers on the homescreen and lock screen (both different). Here's my issue and it seems to be off and on. If I hit the home button, regardless of whatever app or screen I am on, the wallpaper will glitch and seem to "offset" itself for a brief moment. This results in some blurred/granular stuff on each side. So far I've turned off the animation and transitions in the developer option, and turned off S Voice wake up when hitting the home button twice. I also tried reverting my wallpapers back to the stock wallpaper. Nothing has seemed to fix this problem as of yet. It's not lagging the phone performance, but it's annoying and look like ****.
Anybodye give me some help on how to address/fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been running Synergy for some time now on my Verizon S3, but the new rotating home/lockscreen gets quite annoying (unlock your phone with a pattern while laying down or reclined, or when it's anything but vertical)
Alternate homescreen (Apex, etc) has easily solved this problem, however I am looking for a lockscreen I can install without messing up anything in the ROM itself. Does anyone have any suggestions a new lockscreen if possible?
He is working on the rotation issue on the lock screen I know for sure. I think he may be adding alternate lock/home screen support in the near future as well.
