Moto G Fails to Boot Up - Stuck on logo & Won't go into recovery - General Questions and Answers

PROBLEM
My phone became stuck on the logo screen, and it won't enter Recovery
using the built-in Fastboot which I accessed using Power + Vol. Down
when the phone is powered off.
WHAT HAPPENED
The phone recently started killing any app I started -- contacts, settings, gallery, etc.
after I installed a few apps (Letter Soup, the Coursera app, and the EDX app).
For example the phone would report, "android.process.acore stopped
working." So I decided that I would restart the phone. The phone turned itself
off and on as normal during a restart. But here is where things got weird:
The logo screen popped up and then the phone became stuck at the logo screen.
WHAT I TRIED
I am new at this and I have never tried fixing my phone before. So I googled a solution
and found you guys:
Researched and found the article [Being resolved!] MotoG Bootup Problem - Recovery Mode failed
Installed fastboot and adb , and installed Motorola Device Manager
(with the article Using Mfastboot.exe to Unbrick a Motorola device)
Tried `adb reboot recovery` but adb reports that "device not found".
Sadly I'm stuck at this point. (From the article How to Enter Recovery Mode on Moto G)
GOAL
I would love to recover the user data. There is an important text file I desparately need
DEVICE INFO
Model: Moto G XT1045 4GB
OS: Lollipop
Never rooted
THANKS
Thanks in advance guys for your answers.

For g s.the same problem but it won't power off so I have to remove the cover of this phone and kill the battery.

[Q] Moto G - Boot Loop - Recovery won't start

I have a Moto G (from Republic Wireless) and started having the Boot loop problem.
When I try to go for fastboot, then volume up to select recovery, the motorola logo appears, but no android logo after. Then the boot loop starts again. Anyone help me please?
Did you flash an older android version?
Same same but different
I have the same issue. Although I actually get as far as to getting to the lock screen and unlock that and then I get about 3 seconds then I get the 'Powering Off' message and the phone turns itself off.
I have enough time to go in and put it in debug mode but the phone never recognises the computer once in bootloader, I think it most likely have something to do with the driver for 'Fastboot falcon s' not working. Can't install a new one or in any way make my phone communicate with my computer. Have all the latest Moto device manager stuff installed too. I also think I have the wrong firmware installed (US and not AUS version) along with a heavily corrupted (or even completely missing) recovery image.
Have tried flashing a new recovery image but I keep getting either a blank response from 'adb devices' or 'fastboot devices' and whenever I try and issue a command that would hopefully result in anything other than the **** I am currently stuck in I get a 'waiting for device'.
All this because I tried to go from Unlocked Bootloader and CM11 (that wouldn't let me use mobile data or kept crashing on me, like 24/7) to stock Android and Relock the Bootloader.
I am pretty much losing my **** here, just happy it was only a $250 device though.
Does anyone have anything on this?
oh well, giving up on this. Contacted Republic Wireless and and they're sending me a replacement.

Boot Loop with Black Screen Unrooted Moto G

Hello,
I am desperately looking for help with my daughters Moto G (first generation) being stuck in a boot loop with black backlit screen. The device is unrooted, the bootloader is locked, usb debugging is off, I tried fastboot mode with recovery and factory reset many times. The phone just keeps looping or gets stuck with the blue M. Adb recovery via cmd also does not work, the device is not listed. Do I waste my time or is there any other method I could try? I am very thankful for advice, please forgive my poor English...
regards
smallwood
P.S.: I also opened the phone and disconnected the battery before I retried to fastboot and recover - did not work.

[Q] Stuck at Google logo when powering on, can't enter recovery mode

Hey guys,
Few days ago, I woke up and saw my Nexus 5 was out of battery, charged it and when I turned it on it started to update and it was going through with optimising apps ## of ### and when I checked it again, it was stuck on the four circles animation. It got stuck on this screen for quite a while so I powered off, powered on again and now it just stays stuck on the Google logo, what should I do?
I've tried entering Fastboot Mode and selecting Recovery Mode but then nothing happens; screen stays on but stays black. I tried connecting it to my computer so I could backup my files but I can't get it to appear as a Nexus 5 drive and access the folders. Also LOCK STATE - locked [preetty sure I unlocked it back when I first got the phone in 2013 but then I haven't really done anything custom with it]
So I've tried following the steps here: androidforums.com/threads/nexus-5-stuck-in-the-start-up-screen.887612/page-3#post-6817816, but I can't get my device to appear as an adb device, even though i ran the 'fastboot oem unlock' command and it unlocked the Nexus? i.imgur.com/VHHjaVe.png (Android device is showing but 'adb list devices' command doesn't detect anything?)
Ideally I would like to access the Nexus 5 internal storage and just copy paste the folder to my computer to serve as a backup and save files, then flash a new image/factory reset it. I went over to my cousin's place last night to see if he could help as he is more technical than I am but he couldn't flash a new image onto it. I've also unlocked the phone a few times with the 'fastboot oem unlock' command, which changes to LOCK STATE - unlocked, but then if I power off the phone and enter Fastboot Mode again it will show as LOCK STATE - locked.
Also, I'm not sure at this point if the unlocking has wiped whatever data might have been on the phone anyway? [does the internal sdcard get wiped if you run oem unlock? e.g. I had about 6/32GB left on my phone but now it'll just be 31/32 GB because it wiped?]
Thanks, I hope my description of the problem is clear. I have tried googling extensively to see if anyone has experienced similar problems but they're not quite the same (eg. stuck on Google screen bootloop is a power button issue but my phone doesn't constantly reboot and the power button seems fine) [clearing cache or running Recovery mode, but my phone can't run Recovery mode] {Flashing new image but that didn't seem to work either}
Sorry my links don't work, I'm a new user so don't have enough posts here!

[Q] Locked Moto G (XT1033) booting into a black screen

Android Noob here -
I have an Indian Moto G (XT1033) running Android 5.0.2 that went out of charge one day. After charge, it decided to boot into a black screen - i.e. I can see the Motorola splash screen (animation) but all I get after that is a black (grey) screen, not responsive to touch. I have never rooted/unlocked bootloader etc - just regularly updated via Play Store. Phone is out of warranty.
The fastboot menu says
Code:
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
. I did not enable USB debugging before my phone stopped working.
I tried a few things and they didn't work -
Fastbooted and selected 'Recovery' option - The Motorola logo (first screen of startup splash screen) appears briefly. Then the device returns to fastboot menu saying 'Boot Up failed'
Fastbooted and selected 'Factory' - The Motorola splash screen appears, boots into same black (grey) screen again.
I've tried the instructions for Asia Retail Stock Restore, and I believed I got a success for each of the commands (I skipped locking instructions 4.1 and 4.3 as directed as my phone said 'Device already locked' on step 4.1). I such a noob, I do not know if the entire procedure was useless because my phone says 'LOCKED'.
Anyway, the end result was it didn't work - my phone still boots to black screen.
What can I do to get my phone working again?
I'm in the same, we and a lit of motorola users. http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/worksroms-fastboot-sideload-recovery-t3138202
No statement from Motorola when so many users were affected?

[Help!] LG L22C (LG Power) - ERROR: Boot Certification Verify

Hello everyone,
I am brand new here and I have been searching for a solution to my current problem for over half a day now with no luck, and I'm hoping you guys could give me a definitive solution.
I am currently using a LGL22C (LG Power) Tracfone and I've come across a boot loop problem.
During the boot screen with the LG logo, I am presented with the following at the top left of the screen:
ERROR : boot certification verify
[450] ---------------------------------------------------------------
[450]
[450] Secure boot Error!
[450] Cause : boot certification verify
[450]
[450] ---------------------------------------------------------------
(Note: The boot loop continously restarts my phone while having 450 changing into 440 and vice-versa from time to time)
My phone was rooted via Kingroot and I've had it rooted for a little over 2 months. My phone is now in a bootloop due to the installation of Magisk v9. I accidentally installed it using Magisk Manager v2.1, which updated and installed everything that is "Magisk", which then prompt me to restart (which I did), and I'm now in this dilemma.
Again, I have searched for a solution for half a day and I did find some solutions that I thought would work, but unfortunately my phone can't:
1. Connect to my PC (No matter what I do, like update drivers)
2. LG Mobile Support Tool cannot detect nor support L22C model in its listing.
3. Doesn't have Emergency Mode, Download Mode, or Recovery Mode.
My phone CAN in fact go to Factory Reset, but that doesn't do anything in terms of solving my problem.
PLEASE I hope you can assist me. I am truly in a desperate situation.
Thank you!
UPDATE: I just tried to move my number to a different phone (LG Optimus Fuel) which I know that works for the time being. I deactivated it, added my other phone to the plan, but now it's affecting my other phone! I can somehow manage to get it to the Main Screen, but I can't uninstall anything, nor can I use the Phone app, because it states that my Contacts have stopped working (along with several other applications). My other phone has never done this before, nor did it have issues, but it started as soon as I tried to reactivate my number from my LG Power.
Sorry, this phone does not have any sort of recovery options if you trash the firmware. I am also the proud owner of a brick. I've ordered a replacement motherboard from eBay ($15) to perform a brain transplant, and then I'll have to start over.
