i flashed the opengapps(arm64+7.0+aroma) ...
the play market didnt work, and the google dialer went dead after trying to open the play market..
out of ways... i just want the google dialer(with the whole dialer framework)
can anybody help me with this

well there are some apps which can not be deleted at all
like google partner setup, systemui(status bar) and others
some apps like software update are not needed and are safe to remove
some other apps like phone app, messaging contacts and launcher etc can be replaced by an alternative app
like launcher can be replaced by a good launcher from play store
if you come across an apk you are not sure about, just google for its function
if it is not vital, then remove/replace it
is there any answer like list of it?

apparently you can get dialer to work through an action shortcut or whatever that is, however you cant replace the sammy dialer
I have the new samsung galaxy s6 and love it so far, but..... I miss the google lollipop dialer, a lot.
I tried googling and looking for the apks to install but they all fail to install some how. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
You should try other dialer app on playstore. We got many app with purel llp interface

i modified some zips from wajk with updated google dialers and contacts.
the zips worked fine with 5.1.1. but with 6.0 there is a problem, that there is no incall ui.
the call itself is working...
so the google dialer with the sony incallui.apk is working :-0
if somebody knows, what we need for a working google incall ui,
please let us know

The big problem with the Sony dialer, you can't block anything...
Google Dialer will work, but only with Sony IncallUi...
Hello, guys. Today i decided to download google dialer patched from another xda post. So i installed it, granted all permissions but i cant change it to default dialer app and i dont know why. Can someone help me? I want it to set it to default coz i want stock android 8 dialing screen. Thanks ?
Go to settings---> apps ----> default apps. Choose Google dialer as default app for dialer
