Title says pretty much everything. On my current device, the magnetic case has in any way, damageds a little of the touchscreen... (this happened after 2 years with same case lol). Could something related to that happen wit te Honor 6X? The magnets from these cases(BeCool) are weak, if that matters.
Nah i dont think so but it will affect the compass of your phone

It can. Because it did on your experience. I suggest to replace it instead of waiting for it to cause any damage.

That's actually a good idea. Magnets can have many effects when put beside an electronic device.

It depends on how strong the magnets are on the case. If they are extremely powerfull then yes they can damage your device.

What sort issues have you been experiencing? From what I have heard if you remove your device from the wallet case. That should fix the problem. I'm currently using a folio case on my Note 8.0 WiFi edition and I have never experienced any issues whatsoever. That maybe due to the fact that the magnets used in the case are pretty low power.

That depends on the case manufacturer. I know that Spigen wallet cases come with instructions on how to insert your cards into their wallet cases. As allot of people have reported that their wallet cases messed up their cards.
I'm using a magnetic case at the moment to hook on my belt. So far, I haven't noticed any damages.
The only thing which gets affected (temporarily) by a magnet is the magnetometer and compass. Since both of these are already messed up in the Honor 6X, go ahead, no worries.

I had my bumper off my phone while I was having ghost armor installed on it, the bumper was in my pocket and I tend to be one of those people who fiddles with things in their pocket while they wait.
I was just pushing on it lightly, when I realized that the hard plastic easily came apart from the rubber. I thought maybe I just pushed too hard, but when I started inspecting it around the sides, I realized that there were many spots where it would happen with very little force.
Is this supposed to happen or is it some sort of defect in my bumper?

That was the first thing I did. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else had this happen as well.
Judging from this bumper unboxing/review... it's supposed to be like that

Most bumpers are 2 parts
Mine does the same thing around some areas of the bumper.

EDIT: I don't think it can come all the way apart, there is glue holding parts of the bumper.

There aren't too many options. Check out store.androidcommunity.com/krusell-sealabox-waterproof-case/4A104A13551.htm but its not specifically s4, so fit might be a bit loose. There are a few more in development, specifically for the s4 so that should help.

I thought they said they were not making an S4 case. That's cool. I gotta decide between Seidio, bFree, and LifeProof now I guess. I put my S4 in my dad's otterbox armor and it fit haha but it was snug. Seems like making one for the S4 should be a lot like the S3

I actually had that issue with the Obex. I ordered some small monster extenders for $4 I think from Amazon. They were a good purchase, I keep them attached to all my aux cords so that I can just plug that in. Adds about 3 inches to the cord. This bFree looks sweet too, but it's only good for 3 feet 30 minutes like the active.

There's one in every thread that does this. I mean I understand it works, but does the joke not get old? If we wanted to use ziplog baggies why even have the thread. Everyone should know by now that a ziploc will work for the most part. They're too big for the phone, they can rip, and you might not seal it perfectly once, the last 2 end badly for the phone and user.

I suggest not to buy the case. First it works with the proximity sensor not the magnetic one. So anytime you reach for top of the screen there is a chance that proximity sensor triggers lock screen.
Second, software design is so bad. It doesn't generate good looking effect like HTC cases. Actually it is hard to guess what's displaying in the screen you just should guess. I bought one and Jay use it for a day.

I just picked one up. I am afraid to install the software because its some server based in China. The software should be similar to all, no? ยน
The one that I have is very similar to the ones linked here. The only difference is that the HOME key is oval vs rectangular. There is also a circle to the left of the home key when the case is closed. I do not know if that is a magnet or if that is simply there for design.
I didn't know that case was a thing, haha. I have the official LED case and it runs fine lollipop. Try this. Make sure "led indicator" or whatever they call it is on in display and then reboot. I was having certain things not show up and now asides from the fact that weather has never worked on my locks creep I'm golden.

Almost all the phone I tried that has fingerprint scanner can do this. You can actually register multiple finger into one fingerprint just do like couple times with one finger than switch to another while you register for just one fingerprint. I tried on iphone, sony samsung s7 edge. All seems to work with this, not sure why you would do that..but you can do it. Also this won't effect accuracy of the identification of your fingerprint
I have used that "feature" to place same finger in different angels resulting in no misreadings anymore
I would assume this would cause some problems.
I wish I could add all 10 of my finger/thumbs but I wouldn't trust the method you mention just to be safe lol
Just register multiple fingers, far easier and more accurate.

I would suggest to register fingers from both hands (read 'plaster cast').
Fun fact for those who are extremely paranoid: you can register your toes as fingerprints.
I have both thumb and both index fingers registered.
I'm just impressed how well the print scanner works, I registered both thumbs with slightly varying angles from straight up yet have unlocked with my thumb 90 degrees from straight.
I keep meaning to try it 180d rotated, and forgetting.

I wasn't talking about a comparison. I said your post looks like an ad.
It's nothing to do with having both phones, your fingerprint sensor is defective, doesnt make it worse. Mine (and many others) works flawlessly so it's obviously not an issue for everyone.
Also, I've always used the home button to wake my device so it's nice to skip the pin and just keep my finger on the home button to unlock. No hassle at all.

It could be a variety of things, not just the sensor. Since you think I'm trolling then I highly suggest you look the other OP discussing the same issue. You're using a logical fallacy in an attempt to prove your side. If I knew what it was I would gladly tell you, but I don't yet. I tried to factory reset once and reset it up to no avail. It could just be a software bug on certain phones. I received an OTA today so I'll set it up again and see if it's any better.
