Shows only internal SD content.
At least 5 folders.
No problem at all to play files by choosing external filebrowser. While playing file from external this way I can even rename the file with mx.

MX Player has detected many files under different subdirectories on Music folder in the external sdcard.
Is it what you are not getting?
If it's so, let me know.
I will escalate this issue with our developers.

So, only specific folder is not showing. isn't it?
partial scan logs are missing in your report. So, it's not clear to me either what are folders that skipped in the scan.
can you try this?
goto Settings » List & Disable "Recognize .nomedia"
Back to the media list & do a refresh again.

Android System ain't recognizing new Music and Photos folders

Hi Folks,
This is a strangest strange problem "Android System ain't recognizing new Music and Photos folders"
I've created a couple of new folders one for music and other for photos.
Looks like android system core isn't scanning these newly added folders
What am I looking for? Solution (A new core 'd resolve the issue not sure)
Currently I'm using
PowerAMP as ma music app-- PoweAMP app relies on the android sys to maintain the music library so I can't see my newly added mp3s no surprise, but you can always seek your files in Folders
JustPictures as ma Gallery app-- This is pretty good app does the work cleanly..
No prob whatsoever
Guys if you're facing the same issue fill in your default music and photo app replacements
Thanks,
What rom are you using? I had the same problem with orangepot cm6. Reflashed and it fixed it.

Here's a better way:
Use an app like "App Backup & Restore" from the Playstore. It will copy the apks to a folder on your SD card. You can then use a File Explorer to send those apks via Bluetooth. :good:
Try finding it in CM file manager.
I hope you find it!

All your app's installed and linked using Link2SD are saved into your second partition you created as fake internal ram. This second partition is either EXT2 or EXT3, Linux format.

[Solved] File Doubling

Love MX Player, but recently it has doubled all of my videos and audio files, but looking at the file location, they are identical, therefore deleting one, deletes both. This is really annoying, and makes my file list very, very crowded in MX Player.
Any help??? I know this is supposed to be in the question section, but cant see to figure out how to get it there.

It seems that there is some problem with mount points.
Can you tell me your model & android version.
Just check location of the both files from the properties & report here.

/mnt/media_rw can't be accessed normally. Mx player doesn't uses root permission. So, There should be some script in your custom rom which enables complete access to all applications or your init.rc file is modified in wrong way.
if it has to be fixed from your rom maker.
Alternatively you can hide duplicate files by hiding the folder /mnt/media_rw in Settings 》 List 》 Video Folders
If there is no such a entry exists, then you have to add it first and then you have to hide.

[Help] External Sdcard andoid folder read only

Good Evening/Hello/Hi,
I own a Motorola Moto g3 2015 and I am running stock firmware (6.0.1), unrooted and bootloader locked. When I try to move any files from external sdcard android folder FX explorer says the content is read only, in es explorer I can copy and paste in any other location and then delete the content from android folder. There is no Cut and Paste from external sdcard android folder only copy and paste. I can delete or rename the files or folders, create new file/folders.
Is this a problem in every marshmallow devices, is there anyone else who faces this issue. This makes issues when I need to move a file which is larger then the free space of sdcard, because direct cut and paste is not possible.
Thank You

I actually have not followed the Android M fixes, as I am stuck with Android L, but you can check it out if you wish. Good luck, and you're welcome!
EDIT: I believe it may use the same method as the old Kitkat fix for read/write permissions for External SD, but I haven't checked up on it for months.

[APP] [4.1+] [UNOFFICIAL] APKMirror web app

So I made an APKMirror app. I couldn't find any app for this website so I thought I will make it myself.
Its just a simple webapp with bottom bar and other additional cool features.
•••Info about app update tracking•••
I saw a lot of requests for app update tracking feature. Although it is possible, its very difficult to do. Apkmirror doesn't have any public API so I would have to do it with HTML parsing and in this case it's pretty difficult. If anyone wants to help me just send me a PM.
Thanks.

Yes, downloads are a problem. The app downloads with the filename APKs. There is nothing to distinguish it. You can rename the file *.apk. Its icon appears and it will install. It would be nice for the file to download with its full name though.

Perfect app. A long awaiting is over.
Suggestions :
1. Can you add exit button so we can exit easily without having to go back each page again.
2. Make the header/side menu accessible throughout the page within app. The side menu disappears when the page is scrolled down.

I think that there still some download issues with certain files. some download with the correct name. Some download as "download file" without the apk extension. Rename the file and add the extension and it still works. Just not very convenient.
What's the minimum android version??
It is showing parsing error on jelly bean 4.1.2
