Need help! SM- G930P FRP locked. - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

I was sold a Samsung Galaxy S7 which is not locked by Sprint so I was able to put on my account at the store with the guy I bought it from however I cannot sign into it anymore due to the Google lock. Google said they would unlock it for me if I send it in seeing as how I have it on my account. I Don't want to wait the 3 weeks they said it might take, so I was able to downgrade to 6.0.1PJ2 firmware, Now I don't know how to get the USB debugging turned on with this FRP active.
Can anyone help? I also wanted to know if i could flash to unlocked firmware?
Model: Sm-g930p
Firmware: downgraded to 6.0.1/mmb29m/g930ppvps4apj2

If you had your Google account signed in on the phone, you should be able to enter that info at the locked screen where it requests it

Locked Bootloader?

Hi guys, I have been searching/googling/XDA'ing days and nights but found no direct resolution... please help....
I'm trying to root Galaxy S6 G9200 HongKong Dual Sim edition with CF-Auto Root but it failed and showed:
Installation Failure
You need to unlock your device to install a custom OS.
For information about how to unlock, please refer to your device information at www.samsung.com/cn.
Please press the power key to restart.
Can anyone please please please help?
Is it due to locked bootloader???
Yes, it is confirmed that the BL of S6 hk version is locked.
You could not flash the baseband and etc. unless you unlocked it.
Just a confirmation, are you having the S6 with version SM-920X?

That's NO good.
I'm having SM-9200.
is there a way to unlock the bootloader? I can't stay any day longer without root. Please help.
By the way , is BL lock indicated by the CROM SERVICE in download mode?

Try to press "shutdown" and "volume down" together while rebooting the device. It should present some information about the handset.
Is you device bought from China or Hong Kong/Macao.
In Macao retail shop, I check the S6 in "about device" of setting menu, it present "SM-G920X" which the shop sold it as model SM-G9200.
Could you help to provide the information in "about device"? Thanks.
For BL unblocking, try to follow the tutorial by searching S6 unblock bootloader?
I could not send link to you directly.
Hope it could help.

There's no unofficial (as in not via samsung) way to unlock the bootloader. If it were to be done, it would have to be through Samsung/the carrier you bought it from, which is highly unlikely seen as unlocking bootloaders isn't something samsung is known to do or advocate in any shape or form. Pretty much, it's locked permanently or it's unlocked. If they sold it as bootloader unlocked, you would have to take it up with the seller. And make sure it wasn't sold as "SIM unlocked" because that's a completely different thing obviously.
To give some context, for the galaxy S5 there was an almost $20,000 reward for finding a bootloader unlock. Link here. The best that could be achieved was root, and that was pretty difficult iirc. The Galaxy S4 had a security key that was estimated wouldn't be cracked until 2030, the only way around that was exploiting the security chain in the S4 boot. This wasn't possible on the S5 and, I would bet, isn't going to be possible on the S6

The model sold is exactly indicating G9200 in About Phone, yes it is a zero at the last digit.
It is bought from HK Samsung partnershop, not sim lock from any carrier.
the G920X from Macao is dual sim or single sim?

I've been there and I know it's annoying. Unfortunately, as far as I know, the only thing you can really do about it is return the phone and buy an unlocked version, maybe online.

The G920X is a dual sim model which should be the same as G9200. I dont why it has different serious for same model selling.
From some of articles, lastest CROM service could unblock the S6 BL.
Just a warmly reminder, unblock BL would lose the warrenty afterwards.
Are you aware of this impact since you just bought a couple days ago.
If you do want to unblock the device without concern, could you kindly do me a favour for some verification on CDMA. Many thanks!:good:

I send a SMS for the unblock and root information of AT&T G920T and G925T.
It is found that there has a unblock bootloader version for SM-G9200. Please search within the website.
As per searching in the internet, SM-G9200 has China and Hong Kong version, both of them are using the same serious. Not so sure, some guys claime they are the same hardware and capability.
But the tricky thing is the China one support CDMA/CDMA2000 ( with 7 mode), however, the Hong Kong one (with 5 mode) does not, which indicates the HK block the baseband function for CDMA.
Therefore, that is the reason why I ask for the favor to flash the China baseband firmware on you HK device.

Well noted, I just assumed both G920T and G9200 are BL locked, but could unblock by using some tools.
Indeed, as per searched, it seems the thing is not working like that.
So far as I know, China Telecom are running CDMA2000 in China.
Well,
maybe is too late, but I've got a Samsung Galaxy S6, SM-G9200, bought in china, with the bootloader locked.
I was able to unlock the bootloader with this apk.
There are 2 apk-s, but I guess both are the same.
Maybe too late, but at least there you have for any other with SM-G9200 bootloader locked.
not same. s6-CROM.apk works.
unfortunately it doesn't work with my phone

I bought also a SM-G9200 in China. I tried to unlock with s6-crom and if I confirm that I will unlock I always get the message "Unable to open application Any unknown error has occured. Try again later."
EDIT: This problem is solved. Had to sign in at Samsung Account firstly.
Now I only get problems to flash the image. It always says Failed or stuck at NAND Write Start!

Hi everybody,
I followed this thread and used the S6-CDROM.apk to unlock the bootloader. It said "you can now install a custom rom". So I downloaded Odin and the respective files from "autoroot.chainfire" and tried to root my phone. Odin said "Success" but the phone was stuck at the boot screen with a message "Recovery mode not enforced" (or similar, sorry can't remember), and the phone hung completely. Fortunately I had installed "Smart Switch" from Samsung on my notebook and the "emergency reinitialization" worked and all my data and apps are still there.
For the time being I am done with root.
Keep up the good work guys!

That method is only for 5.0.2.
If you are on 5.1.1, you need to flash a custom kernel with root.
Sent from my SM-G925F

I have actually used a company from ebay called fast unlock it is a paid service but it actually works, and I was able to get a Bring your own Phone sim card and use the FRP locked phone as my daily cell, they offer lots of services not just FRP unlocks, check them out easiest way to find them is on Facebook under "fastunlock" the profile picture is a yellow pad lock. The phone that was FRP locked its a Galaxy J7 Star.

Google Pay with unlocked bootloader

Hello there,
I am wanting to use Google pay with my S8 plus Exynos variant, but I have rooted my device before and now I have updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. I have downloaded the updated through SamMobile and now I get the message: Google Pay can't be used on this device. This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Google pay's security standards. I've always loved Google Pay, so I've been doing a lot of research to try to figure this out, but so far I've come up empty. Does anyone know how to get a locked bootloader or can someone help guide me through the rooting process so I can use Google Pay again as it seemed to work when my phone was rooted on 7.1 nougat?
A little late here but If the device was rooted before then you unlocked the bootloader I assume which Google Pay needs to be locked to meet the security measures you mentioned. Re-lock bootloader and go back to stock firmware through Odin to gain Google Pay back.

Sim unlock Spring G950U

So I have run a fine comb through this site to figure out how unlock this damn thing. It took me forever to just remove the FRP because the combination firmware was bit 5 and I couldn't find the correct file.
Regardless my dad gave me the phone. After I removed the FRP I come to realized the IMEI has been blacklisted as STOLEN/LOST, thanks dad. Cant do much about it now. I currently have AT & T but the phone is branded with Sprint. Im hoping I can still unlock the phone and then clean the IMEI. I am at a loss as to how to unlock the sim though. From what I understand I need to flash the ENG BOOT and and us z3x. I do now know how? Can anyone help or give me some advice.
At this point I will take removing the FRP lock as a win and just use the phone on wifi. Any help is appreciated. By the way this is an Sprint Galaxy S8 G950USQS5CRH1.

Att Note 8 Sim relocked?

Hi guys i hope you can help me.
I'm from Mexico. Some months ago i received as a gift an AT&T Unlocked N950U device. Yesterday i updated my device to Android 9 N950U1 XAA unlocked version with no problems except for the device asking for an unlock code. I tried to get an unlock code from the official site but it says the device is reported as lost or stolen???? (I believe it was a device some people sold and then they went to at&t and said the device was stolen to get a new one).
Now. I was thinking 3 options:
1.- Try to get the code with some credits from an unlock box.
2.- Buy the premium code from some ebay reseller.
3.- Try to go back to oreo but bootloader was uploaded to bit 6 so...
PS: I don't know how it was possible for an unlocked device to lock again after flashing a diferent software version. I firstly tried to update the official way but since i'm on mexico and an at&t sim card is not installed on the device an update is never found. Also i didn't find any Pie update for at&t to flash with odin.
Ps2: The glass is broken and the screen only works if you set brightness above 70-75% so if i flash anything the update wizard is a pain in the ass(because screen is totally black) i could pass thanks to Talkback.
What you think? What is the best i can do now? Screen replacement is not an option at this moment...
