Is it Possible to Enable LTE Band 1 (2100Mhz) in Moto XT1225? I have tried editing NV values in 06828 and 06829 which enables LTE Band 1 but, it's of no use. I still couldn't use LTE Band 1. Vodafone India uses LTE Band 1. Looks like it hasn't been enabled. Is there any other way or chance to enable it? I'm in crDroid Android based on CM14.1 with @bhb27 kernal.

Probably not. But you can see what all I did here. However, seems like you have done the same.

After flashing those values I visited Vodafone store and a person there showed me the their CRM. the values which I wrote are seen in their CRM.
And I have a doubt.
I visited Vodafone Store and confirmed that they transmit 2G in 900Mhz, 3G in 1800Mhz and 4G in 2100Mhz in India.
My phone operates in 2100Mhz Band when I select 3G, and 1800Mhz in 2G. And no signal in 4G.
Is it possible to operate in such bands? Or since my phone as 2100Mhz support in Both 3G and 4G, the 4G is being used as 3G thinking it's 3G?
Please Help.

My phone is the Vega Secret Note. The phone does work, and I am able to access LTE 2100 here in Canada with it.
I just want to double check if there isn't any bands that could be locked... I've read somewhere on Naver that it does support LTE 2600. And since LTE 2600 is LTE MAX here it would be my prefered choice if it's available somehow on my phone. I'm wondering if it could be a hidden band that needs to be selected....
*#*#4636#*#* Does work, but there is no band selection on that menu
I am trying to get RF band selection menu.
I know Samsung usually uses : *#*#2263#*#*
But there is limited info for Vega phones on here and around the web....
the closest I came to was using thise code # # 7593 # but there is no LTE band selection menu.
I found this thread assuming since these codes are also from Vega that most would work, but only 2-3 works ...

I've attached pictures of what I have been able to access so far.

Hello there,
I think I have a little problem with my settings with my Chinese smartphone, he is compatible with almost all existing frequencies BUT there is a concern, I do not understand why my phone only displays almost the entire time that it is connected in 2G and 4G but I liked these quite annoying because 4G is not available everywhere in my country (Belgium, my operator is Mobile vikings - Base). I'm sure I set my phone to work with 2G/3G/4G 3 modes.
I do not understand why because my phone do CDMA and WCDMA my operator it is WCDMA.
So I try to look with Uncle Mobile Tools but I have no way to make the phone work with GSM / WCDMA / LTE the only option I have with the 3 mode does not include the WCDMA but CDMA.
Here are some screen to a better understanding of my problem.
My settings in setting app:

GSM band : 2/3/8
WCDMA BAND : 1/2/5
TD-SCDMA: 34/39
FDD-LTE : 7/3
TDD-LTE : 38/39/40

- make sure network mode is set to automatic
- ##data#
- edit
- LTE
- LTE Roaming enable
- check the box - let it sit for a minute or reboot and you should be good.

any guys encounter the same ?
Hello i want to aks is there a possibility to disable 2g and leave 3g/4g only? I enabled option to see many types of networks, but when i switch to lte/wcdma only he resset to lte/wcdma/gsm... Many other types doesent work except 3g only and lte only. Anyone maybe fogureout why is that so?
Don't do it. Afaik it's like this: If a phone is capable to use 4G/LTE it will always use 4G till it's not available anymore. Then it will switch to 3G and if 3G get's lost too it will use 2G then. So 2G is only in use when the other "G's" are not available. When you disable this network and 3G and 4G are unavailable you'll have no data at all. Or did I misunderstood your question?
Yes, but i always have 3g. But sometime he bug and stay on 2g so i need to use airplane mod on and off and he ****ch to 3 or 4 g from 2g. Thats why i want to have a option to disable 2g

You can choose 3G only in the network settings, 4G only doesn't exist.
It exist if u enable it. 3g/4g exist too but when i enable it he resset to default

Thank you very much. But the link should already have been in your first post! The screenshot alone isn't very helpful without the instructions to activate this very special menu.
Same problem and that's not helpful. 2G is very not security for now. I want choose no signal rather than 2G

The issue is not relevant since 2017.
According to the media news and Wikipedia 2G has been superseded by newer technologies such as 2.5G, 2.75G, 3G, 4G and 5G; however, 2G networks are still used in most parts of the world. Various carriers have made announcements that 2G technology in the United States is in the process of being shut down so that carriers can reclaim those radio bands and re-purpose them for newer technologies (e.g. 4G LTE).
Honestly for two years I haven't seen 2G on my device even when traveling. The rest of the countries who still might be using it will shut it down soon.
I bought this unlocked from Amazon. Using boost mobile infinite
I called boost they said it should be able to be done from the phone
I called Motorola they said call boost

What is your model number? Is this a 5G Plus, or Stylus, or...?
We have device specific sections that you'll probably get more help in, so if we know where this thread needs to go, we can move it for you.

It's regular moto g 5g 2022 that is the model name.
You should have a toggle for 'Allow 5G' that will do what you want. If not, use the dial code *#*#4636#*#* and pick an appropriate config under Phone information -> Set Preferred Network Type that does not start with 'NR'.

Awesome. Where can I find the breakdowns of each network type. Which one is 3g. I think 4g is LTE
On the TMO network 2G is GSM, 3G is WCDMA, LTE is 4G, and NR is 5G. CDMA/EvDo would be for Verizon 2G/3G. TDSCDMA was developed in China so you won't see it deployed in the US.
