How i can download TraceLog or traceview
best regards
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/wiki/TraceLogView
( I added the links to the binaries, they got lost in the conversion to wiki format )
Thanks, but I'm developing on SmartPhone in eVC 4.0!
Where can i find an example on Ril for exctracting the cell ID?
then why do you ask where to get tracelogview, if you mean to ask how to get the cellid?
I think you should pay a bit of attention to what the subject of the thread is. you have 3 different questions of which you mix up the answers in all threads. that makes it kind of difficult to answer.
The exactly Question is How can i exctract the cell id on my Smartphone (no pcketpc phone edition but smartphone)?
I've read that tracelogview allow to read them.
Thank's for your patience.
this site is based on pocketpc phone edition
and tools on this site may not work with smartphones at all
apart from that then more programmers read the hacking it
forum then this forum where posts disaper much faster because people are asking much more questions here

I think you can visit www.diypda.com ,it's all in Chinese.
BTW Chinglish is a funny thing
If I'm understanding your request, the answer is as follows: You need a copy of QPST. It's a piece of software used by service technicians, to edit/modify settings on CDMA phones, including the 6700 series.
We don't usually discuss such things, on this forum, but there is a wealth of information on google. Use the search terms "qpst ppc6700" and see if that answers your question.

[Q] !!! What's the Best Book to learn Android Development for beginners!!!

The subject says most of it really. I'm looking for a book that will teach me to develop for the Android market. A book for beginners. The kind of book with lessons, tasks, examples etc..
I'm a complete novice when it comes to Android Development, I've no understanding of the Java programming language at all and only minimal xml knowledge. However I am very good with computers and learn quick, I've got the time the patience and the motivation + (a Samsung Nexus S & a HTC Desire S).
I know it takes time and practise but its something I really want to learn and have plenty of time on my hands at the moment.
I've done webdesign so understand html, css, online shopping carts etc.. not that that's going to help me a lot.
Maybe I'll need a couple of books one for Java and another for Android please provide your thoughts on this.
Any suggestions maybe with links (if allowed) would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

This is one of the least visited forums on this site but the more resourceful in my opinion...visit and read, ask and inquire.

[Q] Redirect traffic though app

Hi there,
I am new to this forum and English is not my first language so I apologize for my mistakes. I searched on Google and here but did not find much.
I want to redirect traffic through an app. I don't know how to express it exactly but I want to modify HTTP responses when they arrive.
For example:
My browser requests a website. My app redirects the response through it and changes some HTML code from the response.
I guess I need to use the iptables but I cannot find out how to use them in that way. I don't even know how to start. I neither found any explanations about this topic nor examples (one reason can be
I would love to get tips how to start. Please give advices :good:

[Completed] [Q] Request to link Android app to website

I am posting in this forum because i have given up trying to find an answer to this perplexing problem. As explained below i have searched and asked everywhere with no results at all. Hope you can get this going for me ...
I have this message from The Google Play Team in my Webmaster Tools Dashboard/Messages ...
Google Play: Your link request has been sent Mar 18, 2015
Dear developer of com.webs.mdawdy.HTMLSpy,
Your request to link Android application com.webs.mdawdy.HTMLSpy has been sent to the webmaster of http://www.freewebs.com/mdawdy/. You will be notified again when it is approved.
Sincerely,
The Google Play Team
Two questions ...
1. That was a week and a half ago and i have not received an approval notification so i am unsure if i have missed some detail?
2. I have another app in the app store that i wish to link as well. However, i have no idea how or where i sent the link request referenced in the message?
I understand that i do not own the root and i am not the webmaster at www.freewebs.com where i host my website, but i suppose depending on how you interpret terminology i am the webmaster of my website there. But i do not know if that is a problem as i have not been able to find even a single person who is familiar with this message. And it is curious that this has occurred for just one of my two apps.
I have been all over Google Play, Google Webmasters, my website FAQs, general Google search, Google Play Developer Console, various forums including XDA and Android Central, and FAQs for several days now and i have not found any information or source for this message. I would really like to know how it came about so that i can deal with it. I think that i did not explicitly make the request, that it is an side effect of something that i did. The closest i can think of is in the Google Play Developer Console where i list my website, but i find nothing there about making a link.
Anyway, if you have any info at all about this, about linking your play store app to your website, please let me know.
Any help appreciated,
Mick
Perhaps i should explain a little better what info i have received ...
At Google Webmaster i was told it is a Google Play problem since that is where the message originated and that i should go there.
At Google Play there is no forum for developers; none of the info and FAQs relate to this topic
At Android Central they said it is a user forum not developers, suggested xda
The general Google search turned up info about links between lots of things but not developer apps and websites
Nothing on this topic in the help forums at freewebs
I posted two days ago in one of the xda forums - 25 views no replys ...

It is a mystery.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately XDA Assist isn't a general helpdesk area, our purpose is to point people who don't know where to post in the right direction. You can read more about our purpose in the sticky thread at the top of the front page of XDA Assist:
The Purpose of XDA Assist [Please Read]
So really, all we would be doing here would be directing you to post your question in the place that you've already posted it here:
xda-developers > App Development Forums > Marketing, Distribution, and Analytics > App Stores > [Q] request to link Android app to website
We can't force people to reply to threads, everybody is here on a volunteer basis so it's really a matter of waiting for somebody to help you out. It's within the XDA rules to bump your thread once every 24 hours, this will move your thread back to the top of the list and gain it some exposure in the hope that someone will reply.
No response in two days, thread closed, thanks.
