Hi, I just found a way to increase low in-call volume on custom ROM (i'm using AICP) but it should work on any custom ROM with this problem.
Look here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72514202&postcount=152 :good::good:
Difference between "mixerpath.xml" and "mixerpath_mtp.xml" ?
Confused between RX1,2,3,IIR1,2,3.....
Need a bit help.
Use mixer_patch_mtp.xml and that code is almost at the end of file, not at the start like on your screenshot.

Nice thread. It works very well
I just changed d value from 84 to 98 & did notice significant increase in call volume. Voice is pretty loud now
Thanks.
Anyone a solution for stock-rom? Use 251.
Thanks it also work in stock ROM also. :good:

Activate in language and settings and once you go type the icon in notification bar should show a keyboard hit that and switch.

I've been using Swiftkey pro on all my phones and this is much better in my opinion. I can type way faster and more accurately than ever. But that may just be me.

Vibration isn't working here either, also the spell checker isn't working. Other than those it seems to function pretty solid.
Hey guys, how did you flash the keyboard? The one with busybox or just the normal file?

I just flashed the normal file. It was the first link I was being impatient and didn't even see that the other says "for other devices" but I haven't had any problems with the normal one and it works flawlessly.

Very nice actually. I've been using swiftkey for a long time but this one is excellent. Will give it a few days and decide if I will keep it or not. But thus far I would say yes.
If vibration and the spell checker aren't working it's a no from me, otherwise id certainly be interested.

Hello,
after lollipop update i noticed that the speaker volume gets very low, and at maximum volume they start to crackle. On kitkat everything was fine, no crackle at all.
So is it possible to replace the sound files/drivers on my phone with the ones from kitkat?
Someone know the exact path to the files that are responsible for the speaker?
Bump
Could somebody who has KitKat please upload the file mixer_paths.xml from system/etc?
Bump

I don't fix it, but the solution is to change the top microphone.

I'm having this problem too, seems like a common issue.
What I find really strange is that "OK Google" obviously doesn't work, but when I press the mic icon and it starts "listening" the mic seems to work OK.

It does not seem to be hardware problem because I reverted back to Android lollipop b329 and my speakerphone works as normal.
Thanks, I'm going to try re-flashing B571, see if that works.
Sent using Tapatalk
Update: I updated back to b512 and noticed if you use speaker phone and talk into the mic on top (hole beside the Audio Jack) it works all right. The original microphone stays mute. But seriously who cares which mic works as long as one of then does. I am quite happy using the top mic to speak into whilst using speakerphone.
Reflashing B571 didn't help in my case. I will try the top mic thing now [emoji3]

Thanks for your help. Tried the top mic, in my case I need to scream not shout if I want to get anywhere close to being heard on the other side [emoji17]
I'm not ready to downgrade Lollipop yet, especially knowing that I had it working on 571 just a few days ago.
Still hoping for an alternative fix. Tried disabling Google voice bit did not help either.

After... Downgrade and upgrade my both mics are working.... Try it might just do the trick for you. I was on B512 downgraded to B329 then upgraded to 512 for an error that upgrade failed. But it actually booted up in 512and now both mics are working.

Edit -
AUDIO FIX
Method 1 -
Just download "Audio Compatibility Patch" module from Magisk Manager and install it. Reboot and audio will start working.
Method 2 -
Or try this long method
"Install mokee
Install magisk
Install terminal emulator
Install busybox
Than you go to magisk open downloaded and download magiskhide module
Than open terminal emulator
And type props and enter
Than type 4 and enter than type audio.deep_buffer.media
Than type false and enter
Than type 2 and enter
And type y and enter and again type y and enter phone will reboot and audio got fixed"
I recommend simple and easy Method 1
