hit the update button guys! it`s around 60mb for the 935F

can you please translate what is the update specific?? i dont speak germane...

Still no update in the UK- mine is bought from Samsung direct

haha it`s swedish
-updated stability and bug fixes
-new or/improved functions
-performance uppgrades
just installed it.. don`t know if this is just a placibo effect or what but if you think your S7 was fast before..think again

It doesn't say at all what bug fixes are there etc it just says "A software update can include but is not limited to...".

sorry .... my bad !!! lol do you have the snapdragon or the exynos?? i ask because i have the exynos and still no update for me ( i live in Greece)

Be kind and help me with one thing.. I am also from Sweden but i got my phone from 3,and i have their software. I whant to flash the nordic one but i need the bootloader, csc and so on. If you are using phone info apk, would you take a screenshot of the firmware info? Thank you

That's not the described "urgent" update some sites talked about though, you simply got your device shipped with an older version, mine got shipped on tuesday and had PB4 already.

OK..don't know.. just got it so have no idea but I'm not having the over sensitive edge problem anymore ( which was the urgent 3mb update)

Interesting, didn't it have to do with edge app support (at least that's what i read in most articles)?
Anyways here is my software info and i got no update since i have the device, maybe the urgent update isn't that much of a deal in reality, but just for some devices which not already got shipped with the latest already...
Edit: Ah, I've now read about the sensivity also, still the question stays the same though.

Hmm interesting. I've been pushing the update button every day since I got the phone and today it got updated.

i have the G935FXXU1APAW version and also no system update yet, there was an "egde panel" update though within the galaxy apps samsung store (under "my apps").

I'm running MMB29M T-Mobile SD820 version since I opened the phone 12 days ago. It seems like the international version is still on an older build. The only update I've receievd is one for the edge panels

Look at build number.
Exynos just got PB4 if you didn't have it already.
Snapdragon based on earlier screens shows it being at PB6.

Hi guys! I will be releasing a working S8 edge screen.
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Download from the link
2. Install it
3. Go to the settings
4. Go to Application > Edge Screen and clear data
5. Give it a sec to launch and swipe from right edge if it worked

Download edge screen (1.1.08 or other something else that used to be) and install. But you must remove the latest one first

yeah i tried download the apk for the another version one, but it said corrupted on installing, and it can't be removed from application (button disabled).
then i flashing the firmware and it fine now :fingers-crossed:

Can anyone confirm if this is working ? Is it possible to return to previous version on s7 edge without any problems ?

Settings > App (all apps) > Edge Screen > uninstall updates

Won't install
App not installed.
The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name.

What are the differences between s7 and s8 edge screen?

Does someone have a link to fixed Samsung Internet Browser with Secret mode enabled for rooted phone?
I got one for 5.4.20.5 version but it is not the last version.
Galaxy Apps Store wants to push me an update that will not work due to root...
Last version expected: 5.4.21.54.

I think apkmirror have the apk that you want, secret mode is working for me with this version.

Yes absolutely

Apkmirror one's does not work for me, so it seems it's due to root and rom.
Can you please precise your ROM, Kernel and root (Magisk I guess).

I use Superman 2.6.0 with magisk root.

Using Omega with Superkernel and magisk and it works fine for me. Regular APK from the Galaxy app store.

Still I'dont get any bugs or random reboot or etc. Everything working perfectly. One thing is, software update is not working. Just show "This version is not supported".
Edit 1. Always On Display is not working at version 4.1.37

You may have to update some Samsung apps for them to work. Also, night mode doesn't fully work (some Samsung apps not included in it). Also, much faster and smoother; however, slightly faster battery drain for me. All the new software is a plus though. The important bugs are similar to bugs on official betas for s9.

Thanks for the update. I will probably wait and stay on Oreo for now, but I will admit, my fingers are itching and I'm very tempted to give this leak a try. Then the part of my brain ? that handles logic and common sense kicks in again and tell me to wait. :laugh:

Just try to clear cache from boot.
Also, tonight my phone suddenly get into the "Upload Mode". I don't know what's wrong with this but still working.

Yeah, One UI come with good feature but I also think about back to the stable oreo.

Wish it worked on the Sprint varient.

It will be woking, but you need Multi CSC and Combination Files Bit 5 for changing CSC.

I would suggest you using modded odin. I also had an unlocked snapdragon S8 US variant SMG950U1 as well and when I flashed the Odin files for CRK1 my device became a Verizon S8 model SMG950U...CRK1 (no longer unlocked but has bloatware). Once the base model is CRK1, you have to download 2 update.zip files. CRK1 to CRL1 and CRL1 to DRL6.
Follow the instructions from the link provided from OP on the first post.
