Hi, I wake up this morning and found that my oneplus 3T GPS location is stucked in Jammu, Pakistan. I am not sure if my phone got hacked or due to Oneplus hardware issue. Can anyone please tell me how I can reset the GPS?

Where you live?
I am currently traveling in Italy, so it would make no sense for me to be in Pakistan. And I am having trouble finding my way around when Google map keeps telling me I am in Pakistan.

Best way to look for this is on the manual of each device. It is all in.

Did you recently bought the phone? Did you change any software parts? Does the phone run the stock firmware? Which carrier / radio version do you use?

Have you thought about the phone may be defect?
The one s I used to have, did this once in a blue moon. Gave it to my friend to replace his ancient HTC desire and its been starting to do it more frequently. He's had it at least a year now.
Would like to know if anyone else figures out a solution as its his only phone and he has an elderly mother nearby. If I can't sort it out I'll be helping him find a new phone.

Hi..
I was at USA (Topeka KS) 2 years back and I used galaxy S4 phone there... Even after retiring to India last yr I used to get location as Topeka ks some times.. I ignored it.. Thinking it must be an issue in some phone settings..
Recently I got oneplus one.. Even with this phone I am having this issue. When I am indoors and not actually connected to GPS satellites.. I see Google maps or any other app that uses location info getting USA location instead of India.
I tried changing my home and work address to India.. Tried deleting location history and still I am facing this issue.
Could any one please help me fix this.
Thanks
Ram

Have you tried going into the APPLICATION MANAGER and finding MAPS (or Google Maps)
Then tapping on that you should have the "CLEAR DATA" button available
Maybe that can help you
Hi @1sagain.... even tried that too. Tried clearing cache and data. Even tried factory resetting my phone.
I guess the issue would be in some profile setting in Google...
But couldn't corner it down..

Hey ram , Can you try to change your Google account which is registered with your phone , maybe it make any changes.
All the wonderful places to visit in the USA and you went to Topeka, Kansas?
Since going to 5.1.1 my phone keeps on randomly changing location on Google maps and the weather
Yesterday it thought I was in Kassel Germany and today it's South London.
Done a few resets, flashed stock firmware, but nothing works.
Based in UK and my phone is unbranded on EE.
Any ideas?

Bizarely I noticed on my Google location history it thought I was 30 miles away at one point in the morning.
Location was set to use GPS/WiFi/cell.
Changed to just WiFi/cell to see what happens

Today my phone is in Norwood but I am in Northampton... only work around is to enable always scanning of wifi which fixes it.
I'm having similar issues, mine keeps defaulting to south of france
Try increasing accuracy of GPS by going to Settings-Privacy and Safety-Location-Locating Method and select GPS, wi-fi and mobile networks.
Carefull it gets worse, Russian hacking trojan / virus in the Official stock 5.1.1 OTA update, wait before you reset or do anything or Samsung will brick your phone for you on stock or modded rom's.
I have never heard of this Trojan. And I flashed an stock Ota.
Can you please elaborate?
Hi guys , I bought my pixel a month ago and I'm getting poor call reception , so ,I'm missing most of the incoming calls as people are getting not reachable message when they try to call me..
Can someone help me with this to identify whether the problem is on my phone or my operator network issue..?
Thank you in advance..

That is true my bro
This phone gets the worst reception I've ever gotten from any phone going all the way back to the original Nokia. If I didn't have WiFi calling it'd be totally useless.
My first Pixel got significantly better reception then my replacement one, sadly.
So, everyone got the same problem..
Is Google even aware of this issue
Can it be fixed by any modem update or something?
Here's one of the treads on their support site. https://productforums.google.com There's a lot of guessing and this fancy new technology that doesn't work well with some networks could be a cause https://www.qualcomm.com/videos/qualcomm-rf360-dynamic-antenna-matching And there's talk of has something to do with Android N as some on Nexus devices that just upgraded are having problems. I'm leaning toward cheap HTC antennas.

In my case it's gotten worse bro..During the call itself, voice reception gets stopped..
Shall I get my phone replaced? It's still under warranty (11 months more)
Or every phone has the same problem?
If you're still in the timeframe, I'd just get my money back. If not then I'd try a replacement though you'd probably get a refurbished one. I use wifi calling at home and don't have any problems when I'm out and about. But I'm on Verizon in the US so your network may give you more problems. Google has admitted to microphone issues which might be your problem so if you get a replacement I'd be demanding a new phone.
