Powering on without a battery?

Is there any possible way I can power on my Universal without a battery? Please help I need to do this very badly. Thanks for the help.
If you are near pc, you can just take battery off and plug it in pc using usb.
Works for my Kaiser : )
With battery removed Universal will not stay on even for a second. Without battery only orange light turns on but the device remains shutdown if the cable is connected.
On my Prophet at least, if you plug it in, with the battery, and then start up the device, you can remove the battery and have it running off the Mains...
Universal cannot be tricked that way. It turns off, orange light on, when battery removed after connecting cable. Waiting...........

HTC Touch Pro: Operate on external power source?

Any way to have the Touch Pro operate on external power only when plugged in, leaving the battery alone if I have it set to not charge when connected to a computer?
Sometimes I hook my phone up and turn off the charging feature because I don't need it to be charging. It would be nice if it would run off the external source in those instances so that the battery does not continue to drain while the screen is active or I'm messing with the phone.
you might be able to pull the battery out.... but i don't know why you wouldn't just set it to charge? Its not going to kill your battery to do so and you will have more power later.

Start when power is conected power off when disconnected

Does anyone know if this phone can be set so that the power comes on when power is connected to usb? And power go off when it is disconnected?

Enter eRecovery without using PC

1 Turn off the device completly
2 Before turning on, prepare the charger and the cable itself. The cable must be connected to the charger, but not to the device
3 Squeeze the plus volume button
4 And most importantly, don't miss those milliseconds of pressing the power button and connecting the charging cable
5 Now you press the power button and as soon as it passes the vibrate, immediately connect the charging cable (pre-connected to the charger) and release the button
6 Once the screen is grey, the plus key can be released
That's it, you're in the right mode

A very annoying "battery" problem

I have an old CUBOT P20 "chinaphone" with Android 8.0 that I want to use as an IP camera and I need it to stay always on.
I have removed the battery and attached the usb power supply directly to the battery terminals and it works fine.
But to my surprise when I turn on the phone, the battery percentage begins to drop and when it reaches zero it shuts down like it does when the battery get low.
How could it be possible? there is NO battery, it's just my usb power supply connected at the battery terminals!
The power supply has plenty of amps (it's not a charger) and it seems that Android has a built in "countdown" that starts regardless of the battery capacity and shuts the phone off.
If I disconnect and reconnect the power supply and then turn on the phone the percentage of the "battery" starts again from 100% and then begins to drop. This is extremely annoying because I need to leave the phone always on without interruptions.
Is there a way to disable this android function?
