Hi guys,
I have an odd problem.
I bought a S6 (G920F) with a 3-Simlock (Drei-Austria) and got myself an unlockcode (Both NCK and UNFREEZE).
I've already put the newest LineageOS as well as root and TWRP on it.
If i start the phone with a non-accepted card, the window pops up to ender the Network unlock code, but once I unlock it
only emergancy calls are available.
The odd thing is, that when I restart the phone, it's locked again.
With a 3-Sim it works just fine.
Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
Best Regards

You may have to unlock via stock ROM

Hi all, I think I looked everywhere for similar issue, including xda, but no luck. I got my "new" Sensation yesterday and, obviously, I wanted to have a custom rom as I do on my Desire. So I unlocked the bootloader and flashed both recovery and new rom (yes, the phone is still S-ON because I just couldn't get it to S-OFF, no matter what method I tried there was always an issue and I couldn't complete the procedure. if it's important I can explain in details what I tried/not tried). Right now it sits on CM-10.2 | AOSP 4.3 Jellybean [KANG] with 4EXT recovery. Everythin is fine however the phone is locked to O2 and I'm with T-Mobile. I tried to get the phone to S-OFF in order to remove the simlock myself but as I mentioned, no luck. So I got pissed off and I bought the unlock pin code. I've inserted my T-Mobile card, phone asked for the pin, I've entered it and boom, phone is unlocked. Great, I think to myself... well not really. One, the phone just won't get the signal (and I tried putting it to GSM mode only) and two, every time I reboot it the message to enter network pin come up . So I enter the code again and that's the end of the loop. Tried hard reset after entering the pin code but after a reboot it would still ask for the unlock pin and then won't pick up any signal. I've tried giffgaff sim card and that works straight away (as it works under O2) so it's not the phone issue (well, not the sim card port anyway).
Any ideas/solution/questions a-ny-thing would be greatly appreciated as I'm about to rage quit and give up on it .

Hi,
Could it just be the t-mob sim card?
Is there any chance to get a new one from them?

Thought that but the card works fine in my Desire. Never had any problems with it. What gets me is that constant message asking for the network pin after rebooting the phone. Surely once the code is entered the phone is unlocked ...
If I can't find any solution by monday I'll visit their shop and ask for a new sim or I'll just move my number to giffgaff >_>
Obviously if anyone has any solutions or ideas feel free to share them and I will be sure to try them. I'd really appreciate it!!
Sorry for double post
Hello, I got the phone from a week, but I managed to lock the second slot, and when I put a sim card in, it asks for network unlock sim code.
I know there are a lot ot threads here, but I didn't found something that works for this model. I can use ADB, Terminal, my phone is rooted, so if you give me a clues how to unlock it, I will be very grateful.

Hey i got a s2 plus GT i1905, and i've been looking for unlocking methods for days (not that i'm dumb ) but its kind of special with that phone :
I've succefully done the root new method (no odin required) and i started with the galaxy S unlock (i got an unexplained error : error, not saved) and the other app from spocky who said "no unlocking method for that device".
Then I thought that i could do it manually, with the SERVICE MODE, but after DEBUG SCREEN, phone control is on position "7" and not "8" as all people are saying, AND "simulation" is leading to a "sw watchdog" that doesn"t help at all.
Therefore, i'm just in the same case as you. If you want any help on those methods maybe those could work for you.
Have a good day!
To understand .. that didnt work for you ?
Nope it didn't :/
I am still looking for another way to do it without paying ofc
Hope i'll find that
i unlocked it at GSM with 7$
It is kind of a good solution, I just did it too yesterday with a friend who got a wierd and universal Sim Card in purpose to unlock every type of phones
Hello all,
is there any possibility to unlock sim for free?
thank you.
Greetings,
I have unlocked my Note 5 a while ago and it all worked fine. After some flashing, however, my SIM wont be recognized anymore. Tried everything even reverting to STOCK ROM via Odin but the SIM just wont register. (The APN-Settings are still read correctly though so the Reader should be fine).
I now assume that the SIM Unlock somehow was lost during flashing? Is that possible? How can I check wether or not my device still has the unlock? Should I request unlock service again and if yes, where?
Greetings

I used idone apps to unlock mine. After flashing a note 7 rom. Mine locked up again. And idone team. Stated that my android id had changed. And they updated there system re applied the unlock and good to go. It has been known that some rom flashes will undo unlock. Idone cost $30 American. Little pricey but worth it
THIS solved the problem https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...al/fix-signal-update-flash-to-6-0-mm-t3345709

Was your unlock service made by software or direct unlock via sprint?
Edit:
Nevermind, saw your last post.
Edit2: Cool, that's the thread I made.
Hello,
I have a Japanese S8+ (SC03J) that was sim-unlocked a bit more than a year ago. I used it on stock firmware, then rooted it, and kept using it.
I was going to update it to 8.0 through this custom firmware :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...g9550-g9500-phoenixo9-crf2-everytime-t3819774
After successfuly flashing it, when I put my sim card back, he automatically asks me for a network unlock code, thing I never been asked before.
I came back to stock firmware but it is still not reconizing my SIM card, and asking me for an un lock network code.
The SIM works completely fine on my other japanese phone.
Is it something that happened to someone else ? Any idea on how to fix it ?
I do not think it is a hardware problem as I didn't do anything unusual.
Any ideas welcome !!
Thanks!
