Can I do these 2 things without flashing a custom rom? (and therefore tripping knox..). I know I can change DPI but I want to flash edited APK's so things like the camera look fine

Hi There, does rooting and unrooting affect phone's performance ? what if I root my S6 and unroot it (let's assume that I repeat this 4-5 times ) will it affect ? please let me know.

No, it shouldn't affect the phone performance. However you can install apps with root that can affect your system (as root you will have and give your apps permission to change and even damage the phone OS), in any case a simple restore would fix any malicious app.
So while root is safe, make sure you just give root privileges to apps you trust, malicious software can use this privileges for bad purposes.
Root - A SuperUser with all rights and permissions (or an administrator)
Rooting - A process of getting those SuperUser (or administrative) rights and permissions
Unrooting - Giving up SuperUser rights and permissions
As you might have figured - rooting in itself will not affect performance or security of a device; what you do after acquiring those rights and permission will affect performance and security of the device.
You can root unroot a thousand times if it pleases you; the process itself will not damage the device; ofcourse, as long as you read and follow the process properly and as directed by the author.
I've created small location app. The only thing is bothering me is permission each time I install it on device it ask for certain permission . below 6.x there is no issue , but higher then 5.x it ask for user's permission.
1- My requirement is to add my application as system app no matter how many timed device is hard-reset no need to reinstall it.
2- As it become the part of system it should not be asking for permission as other native(BLOAT) application with firmware does not ask.
Do I need to build a customize firmware along with my application?

i have done a debloated s6 edge and want to add option to install root either magisk or super su but not quite sure how could someone help?

so you want to rip off a pixel , eh
so here have i guide this will help you rip off a pixel on a 1 to 1 scale and also it will be better in some ways actually like ad giving you ad free youtube and stuff
steps;-
step 1. flash pixel experience(flashing a custom rom is a long process cant help you with that remember google is your friend)
the main reason for flashing pixel experience is that it comes with the basic ahh pixel stuff like the keyboard stuff and a inbuilt device spoof and the smart text stuff
step 2. root with magisk
rooting is important for the next step ( if its your first time rooting also get the safety net fix module)
step 3. pixel props
do this if you dont have inbuilt device spoofing

flash through magisk (compulsory)
and get this stuff
so you want to get the ,nxt gen smart assitant,all of the call things,all of the transcription stuff,settings services ,system intelligence and whatever you like (just dont get anything thats installed)
step 5. reboot
you know do what the title says
step 6. ambient music mod
install shizuku or flash sui mod

install it
give it access to shizuku
also enable show on lockscreen
step 7. get tap tap
download
install
give it all the permissions it wants
step 8. revanced time(extra)
get revanced
download youtube apk
patch it with revanced
ad free youtube

Yea bud the launcher crashed when I tested it. Luckily, I was able to open settings and open magisk to remove the module from the home screen. I don't suggest doing this on your main phone.
