Hey when ever i try to log into my google talk through the built in im apps, google comes up with login error 409...i know the login is correct as i can login to googlemail with the same credentials, anybody else experienced this problem? any fixes?
same problem here... thats that bullish
Confirmed... it is not you
no problem here...
haven't had a problem with the T-Mobile IM app in logging in Google Talk. I think i put in my whole e-mail address as login/username.
Google talk in HD2?? Can anyone post a cab , i would appreciate it very much.
Yes... seen this problem
Select Options -> Settings from the bottom right menu. Enter your 10 digit mobile number in the MSISDN field. At least that's the way I got it to work. Problem with the GTalk that comes pre-installed on the phone is that it uses SMS messaging. I would recommend you look at Palringo messenger, which doesn't use SMS and can handle multiple IM Networks/Accounts.
I have followed all of the steps above and it gives error code 409 invalid user name and password. I can log into google on my PC just fine with my user and pass, but not on HD2. Any more ideas? Tmobile tech support has no idea
So I guess no one has figured this out
aie
no Idea dude sorry
I have even swapped out devices, called Tmobile tech support and HTC tech support. No one knows why it will not work. Someone out there has to know something! Damn google doesn't even have a help or tech support email address that I can find.
As the title says, I'm on NTT Docomo in Japan, and I have a ***@docomo.ne.jp email address.
I'm on the international version of the Nexus 5 running version 4.4.4 and have been having no problems at all up to this point.
After talking to Docomo, I was told that all the email has switched from SP-Mode to Docomo Mail, and that it's not required to have a Docomo IMEI to access Docomo Mail now, and they walked me through the process of switching over my SP-Mode mail to Docomo Mail. Now I can access it via the web, and also have access to their IMAP servers.
So here's the deal. I setup the mail using the Android Mail app with the info found here:
https://www.nttdocomo.co.jp/service/docomo_cloud/docomo_mail/other/
I can send emails through the app, but I can't download my emails from the server. I was wondering if anyone has any successful experience with this, and if so, what could I be missing?
Please post questions int he Q&A section

a keylogger in rom that sends all my user names and passwords back to a central server? The uncertainty around this question means that using a rooted phone for e-mail (given the role of e-mail accounts in password recovery for online bank/brokerage accounts), or indeed, any input involving user ids and passwords, is very iffy.

Hi lentulus
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Could you please state the Manufacturer & Model of your device so we could better approach your issue guiding you to the appropriate experts?
I will be waiting for your reply within the next 2 days.
Nice regards.
.
I already have an XDA Developers account registered with an email address I owned. Unfortunately the email service provider ended their free service resulting into a loss of my access to that address anymore. Now I switched over my GMail and I would like to regain my original XDA Developers account access/ownership with my GMail address.
I would request the relevant authority to help me in this. Thanks in advance.

I read you need a vivo public account to chance the launcher? If Vivo is not giving them out anymore then how can I get one? Is there any way to get a Chinese number?

Send a message to the Vivo community on Facebook. They will help you out with an account.
I personally dont like having to sign into a "public account." This seems to be a flaw in Vivo's "stability and security" of their systems (which is the common response they give when you ask for their source code).
I was able to use an online sms verification service to sign up for vivo cloud. Use https://onlinesim.ru/en/ to get a china phone number to receive the sms verification. I used the "telegram" service option to get my verification code. You will have to purchase credits (I bought 51 or so credits for about $1.00). Here is a video on how to use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO3xbb4ZXec
After you get your account verified, immediately bind your personal email address to it and change the password.
I get this message from Vivo.
Dear Claudiu,
Thanks for your email and we are deeply sorry for the late reply. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Which country are you from? We are sorry as your phone mainly faces Chinese users, the account can only be registered by Chinese phone number. We are sorry we currently don't have any account for you. But don`t be upset, we are currently developing a new Vivo Account Registration System, which is expected to be available later this year. Your patience is highly appreciated.
Thanks so much for your time and please keep us posted with questions.
Best wishes

You'll have to do a separate sms verification for the Vivo Cloud.

Can you describe what you're doing? Are you using the online sms verification? After using the provided Chinese phone number you should get the verification code (on the sms website) and you should be in your new vivo cloud account, from there you'll change your password and link your personal email address.

Did you submit your passport for verification? They also ask for a "Registration" upload - not sure what that is. What did you use? Thank you!
Re: Vivo Account.
I was able to create a Vivo Cloud Account online with my computer from their site. However, when I try to login to it from my phone I get an error wrong username or password. I've tried to contact support and haven't heard anything yet.

No I meant did you have to submit your passport and ID for verification when you acquired the OnlineSim virtual phone number.
