As the title says, I'm on NTT Docomo in Japan, and I have a ***@docomo.ne.jp email address.
I'm on the international version of the Nexus 5 running version 4.4.4 and have been having no problems at all up to this point.
After talking to Docomo, I was told that all the email has switched from SP-Mode to Docomo Mail, and that it's not required to have a Docomo IMEI to access Docomo Mail now, and they walked me through the process of switching over my SP-Mode mail to Docomo Mail. Now I can access it via the web, and also have access to their IMAP servers.
So here's the deal. I setup the mail using the Android Mail app with the info found here:

I can send emails through the app, but I can't download my emails from the server. I was wondering if anyone has any successful experience with this, and if so, what could I be missing?

I am a T mobile USA costumer, I am using the latest NBD 8.3 Rom. I saw a program called SMS service and under it i saw send SMS using GPRS. If i enable it can i send free SMS using Tzones. Since I dont have Tzones can anybody in this Forum who has Tzones try this and give me a reply.
Actually, if you're able to access the internet through GPRS, anyone can send free sms's, it doesn't matter if you're on t-zones or not. All you have to do is put this link - http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/sms/sendsms in ie and you can send and recieve all the free sms's you want over GPRS.
US only?
This only seems to work for US numbers ?
u can only send but u cannot receive on yahoo SMS, did any body try the option i said before?
I don't have NBD 8.3 since I cook my own ROMs and I can't seem to find a copy of it to try out or I'd try it for you.
You can recieve SMS's on it, you just need to refresh the screen since it's made for PC use and your PPC screen doesn't refresh itself.
To get it to work in different countries, you probably just need to go to your countries yahoo page and find it's link to it's free sms service. -- I just check for links from other countries and couldn't find any for yahoo free sms so this might only be a US thing.

You didn't provide very much info. There are two parts to setting up email normally... Inbound which is typically POP/IMAP and Outbound which is SMTP.
If you are getting mail fine, then you have the POP/IMAP part done right.
If you are not able to send, you need to fix the SMTP part.
Without knowing much more than that, like how you setup your SMTP settings and what Verizon needs to have setup, there is no way to help much. I don't use Verizon for mail services and you didn't say which type of Verizon email you are using (assumption is Wireless, but it could be FIOS or some other service).
Unless you have some sort of error message that provides more detail on what is erroring... it would be hard to say.
Make sure it reads like this I do not have Verizon but almost all email systems need it like this.
Under outgoing line that says smtp server make sure it is like this
smtp.your service provider.net
so maybe like this
smtp.verizon.net
Also on my internet service the line that reads username is like this

I'm a foreign user of DoCoMo Fujitsu smartphone and I can't understand Japanese. A few years ago I contacted the support by e-mail found somewhere on the web-site. But now I couldn't find any e-mail addresses. Some sections are accessed by ID and password but the "D" app is completely on Japanese so I don't know how to get those ID and password.
Maybe someone is able to help me, please?..
I installed the free version of Arcai Netcut (a program to kick leeches off your wifi).
Been trying to register in order to buy a subscription the Pro version, the website says it sent an email, but I never receive the confirmation link. Tried with various email addresses.
Confused...
