Ive just had a update which Every thing seems to run fine but I thought i would check to see if the memory speed (ufs 2.1) where it should be around 800mb/s from previous tests and it has now fell to 550mb/s max with 480mb/s on average ive tried many times but I get the same speed. It seems like saming have reduced the ufs 2.1 speed to ufs 2.0 speed?

can I disable the updates & stop the notification?
I no you don't have to install but I dont have a clue about the notification if it's been downloaded I think it may keep notifying you. Maybe someone else can help you.
So samsung has reduced it's 2.1 speed to ufs 2.0 speed........
I don't think this is very fair

I know you can use BK Package Disabler (Samsung) to disable both SDM apks and that removes the notifications and the pop-ups.
I answered another duplicate thread you made (stop making duplicates by the way), but just if someone stumbles here instead, here is my answer again:
This is NOT true.
I have just tested on the latest update AQEB and UFS 2.1 speeds are maintained.
Which carrier is releasing this update and when was it released? One more question, for two minor fixes why is this update so big?
Can a admin or mod please delete this thread please I do have a thread open already my apologies

OK, while I love these experimental builds, I have realized one major flaw in Android for the general user....
The "Force/Wait" option
9 times out of 10 this can be waited upon. Is there a way to increase the TTL? It seems that a lot of people mistaken this option as a FC. I apologize if this has been discussed before......
Good idea!
But we have to find the file in which it is defined.

if i'm not mistaken this is automaticaLLY call upon when is app is near crashing and/or is frozen, and when an app is almost unrecoverable due to memory usage OR JUST when an app just doesn't work (it will only say force close). So with that said the only way to remove it, is to remove a core android function and rewrite that whole piece out and even if that all possible by a expert dev at google, it would be kinda dumb. why? because if it just wait the memory is usally not free up and the app is gonna crash either way. It basically a option so you can free up the memory available to run other things or to relaunch. An Auto-Wait made be more possible then my above solution but that probably gonna make the phone even more unresponsive!!!
I think there is something about that in cm 3.8.10 (or something like that)in dev settings maybe. Idk.

The problem with your argument is I always say "wait" and 9 times out of 10, it works just fine. IMHO, the TTL is set a bit too short.
Hey you guys, figured this would have to be the best place to have this question answered.
I'm a member of an online game where the admins have been banning people for using rooted phones (luckily not one of those people yet). The most we have been able to get out of the admins in response as to why is this:
Just to clarify, we are not asking people how did they get hold of Cash in Hand : Its basically, some people can manuplate cash-in-hand on weapon / properties screen ( with Rooted phones and a public software ) : We have got hold of all such people and have banned their account

My question since no one seems to be able to answer it is what the hell are they talking about and what program can be used to do this?
Thanks!
They're talking ****. I think they don't mean access to RAM, but possibility to mod/hack their app. But:
You don't need root to install modded/hacked application. This isn't an iPhone.
Client side security is never secure - they should now about it and should use server side security instead.
Android: Changing RAM Values in Apps
I thought the same thing but they specifically addressed the RAM topic in the post found below.
Dear Gamers
Rooted phones allow you to change values in RAM : We were reported by a player who was caught under suspicious activity. We started tagging users who were using the rooted phone to abuse the game. So, we got all the people who were sending the tweaked stats to server.
Rooted phones , allow users to have access which is more then regular phones. We understand that people have abused the game , which is against gamers' integrity ; and we have found people who have used the exploit. We have decided to ban their accounts or reset at minimum.
We have gone step ahead to make sure this is fixed and we intend to make sure we do not tolerate cheaters in our games.

I think ints wrong thread but i Found no thread where can i install apps in the sd Card?
Go to this thread in the General G4 Q&A forum. I don't want to have to update threads in multiple forums.
A US Cellular user reported that they still received an update even with LGDMSClient.apk blocked.
I've suggested more files to block to prevent updates, and posted a list of all the files I'm currently blocking in that thread. I update the lists as I find more files to block so check back occasionally.
I read the information on debloater. It claimed that it required root access so I didn't give it a shot.
Now the update forced on me today.

Root required to uninstall the packages, but you can block/disable them without root. Debloater gives you access to block more packages than you can see in Settings - Apps.

Not for me. I tried using Debloater and it said that my phone did not support root or blocking and quit. Not sure what the issue is.
Which carrier/model # is your phone?
Did you install the LG United Mobile Driver?
So far so good for me , thanks for the links.
For AT&T LG G4 Drivers go here, then download and install the "LG United Mobile" driver.
I'm currently looking to see if the GNSS stuff disabled by phineous (as seen attached in his post) will have any effects on the GPS / Google Maps.
Thanks again!

I used Google Maps and Waze all day today and didn't notice any problems or GPS location issues. This is on an AT&T H810 so other variants could have issues though.
I only blocked the LG GNSS file because it appeared in many bloatware lists for other phones and I saw it running and using a bit of memory from time to time. I do tend to block first and ask questions later!
Please post your results!

Oh sweet, did not know that (still a noob). BTW, used gps today with GNSS disabled, worked fine. What little problems I did notice was accountable to weather conditions.

Glad it helped! Please post if you find any problems. Let others know how to prevent updates to ensure their ability to root!
I also got the error message saying I could not remove to block, but i still seemed to be able to disable. Does anyone know what the terminology difference is between "disable" and "block" with regards to this app?

I think when the dev says block Debloater removes the package from the phone to a backup on the computer, but this requires root.
Disable works for non-rooted phones and seems to prevent the package from running similar to what you can do to most apps in the Apps menu.
Hi, I've a phone running 5.1.1 stock Xperia with 1gb RAM. I noticed that every few days, the System Apps RAM usage will increase from 300mb to 500mb and beyond which then causes a force reboot.
Is there any reliable method to detect the cause of this memory leak? It's frustrating having to use the phone every 2 days then see it freeze for hours before forcing a reboot, it's like seeing an animal kill itself and reincarnate repeatedly.

Hello there,
I have accidently broke my phone app by uninstalling a system app that must interact with phone. How I got to this is a very long story involving samsung and customer service but I won't get into that.
instead of factory resetting my phone which is my last resort if all fails here. I have submitted my logs from cmd to show exactly what I uninstalled. One of these system apps is it and I hope someone with knowledge in the A53 5G can show me which one rather then taking wild guesses at it.
Also once the apk is pinpointed where can I go to get a copy of this system app to install it back?
That's a mess to try and read. Is that like 200 packages?! Yeah you're going to have issues.
At this point I would factory reset and then be much more conservative which packages you disable. 80 is a more reasonable number.

im going to assume based off your comment you didn't even try to read the file. Your give up and just factory reset attitude is not what im looking for. Your just trying to put 2 cents in to get your post count up. You can be helpful by asking someone who is advanced with an A53 5G to take a look.
its only 46 packages uninstalled.

I tried to read it for 5 minutes.
It looks like a lot more than 46 lines...
Best to leave the many Samsung system apps alone. Disable only power hogs and completely worthless apps like Digital Wellbeing, FB etc.
This is my list for my stock N975U running on Pie. The list for my N975U1 running on Android 10 is almost identical in spite of having around 100+ new Samsung system apps added from Samsung.
No issues. Google play Services is normally disabled unless needed.

Really? Just told you what I got.
Instead of wasting others time at least edit that list so it shows only the names of the blocked apps? Here I thought you were busy reloading.
I would have it sorted out by now if I made that mess.

So you don't have an A53 5G okay well if you can't provide a solution then your the one wasting time. I posted the whole text so whoever looks can see exactly what I did. If you can't be bothered to read through the text and demand that I edit it to cater to your preference then you are the one wasting my time.
I don't have to edit it just because you don't know how to read it. You didn't even look and just assumed I uninstalled 200 packages because you saw you had to scroll a little. If you took the time you would have known it was 46 and would have helped to provide an answer instead of encouraging me to give up finding a solution and just factory reset.
If you want to be useful instead of argumentative you can help trying to find com.samsung.android.providers.contacts the system app for the A53 5G I believe this is the one I need to get it working again.

Done the same thing multiple times over the last 3 years. No threads or posts from me asking what I blocked that was caused by my mistakes. Only solutions when I spot them in threads like this. That list is a mess as I pointed out at the beginning, it gave me a headache trying to read it. I grouped it into tens then counted down the groups to come up with 100+ apps I should have seen a list of 46 apps.
Either way I saw some on there that probably shouldn't be disabled. You should know what the app you're blocking does and any dependencies it has... before you block it. In the time all this has dragged out for I could have done a complete reload and be good to go. Had you used a package disabler it would have been much simpler to fix. You can really screw up a system with bad adb editing... I make sure all my critical data was backed up redundantly if I was you.
All it takes to fix this is someone with an A53 5G use apk extractor and extract the com.samsung.android.providers.contacts app from their phone and upload it. This system app is the one that interacts with storing contact data and I believe this is the one I need to get my contacts and phone app working again.

Yours in a more current version I believe.
However there are two, both maybe needed.
Don't disable Samsung system apks... the Google contacts can safely be disabled if you don't want it.

Where did you learn about uninstalling system apps with adb?
Shouldn't there also be the way to re-install them in that tutorial? The XDA tutorial does include it so that's why I'm curious where did you get the adb tutorial. It'd be very unprofessional if they left that part out.

There's a couple threads on XDA about it. Easiest way to find them is a Google search with xda in it. There's a variant that needs no PC too.
The changes are stored in the user data partition so a factory reset will return everything to default if you make a mess of things
