Solved - What about the problem with NXT-L29C185B560 - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've debranded my phone and flashed with NXT-L29C185B180.
After flashing and connect the phone with WIFI I've received by OTA NXT-L29C185B200, full update 1.49Go.
The update was OK and just after the update a new OTA update was NXT-L29C185B560, donwload was ok, EMUI update ok, but after phone reboot there was big problems...
When going "about the phone" the firmware was NXT-L29 NRD90M test-keys, no keyboard, no carrier and a lot of bugs.... GRRRRRRR !!!!!!
The only anormal thing was my unlocked bootloader, is it possible that the booloader was the problem ?
Finaly I must pay 15€ and unbrick my phone with DC-Phoenix and return to full firmware NXT-L29C432B133, and no more update
I've just done this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/help/nxt-c900b180-to-nxt-l29c432b330-easily-t36115

[Solved]Need help,mess up with L09

[Solved] I had the l09-c636b191 official version no new ota updates with that version,
Then I did the following:
1.Download l09-c636b210 and install with dload method(works without problem)and download b321 and dload inst..(no problems).
Then I came up with the idea to install nougat beta, downlod l09c636b521:
2.Unlock bootloader and install twrp recovery and doo factory reset...
3.Flash update.zip(only that,it`s mistake,I did not know that need hw update_data.zip ) got errors during flashing after finish restart phone and phone boot with nougat...
4.First no kayboord only google voice,I went through anyway from setup, second many apps missing like clock...settings crashes, and THEMES NOT WORK,MAGAZIN UNLOCK does not exist no wallpapers. In about phone said test kay..
Then I decided to back on b321,then I realized that it was all because I did not flash data.zip(I did not have)
5.Back to b321 with dload and install phone boot and goot with Blinking screen asking for password,I switched off phone and boot in stock recovery doo factory reset after that phone on and setup start(with kayboord)...
6.On home screen the first thing I noticed icons and wallpaper are stock google no emui look, and go to change thames same problem no stock themes(any other not work) and unlock magazine does not exist no wallpapers. But is stable 6.0
I decided to try again to flash android 7.0,just this time with data.zip(download from one xda user)
7.I did everything like at the beginning 2.
Flash update.zip and hw_update.spsceas.zip got errors during installition, after finish installation,it was all the same no kayboord...etc
8.Back to b321 again with dload(this time no password or blinking screen)but is same like latest time themes not work ickons and wallpapers stock android.
Now system is stabile but not 100% have some bugs.
9.Try to register on Malesya beta test progaram for nougat I succeeded in that said got my ota update on december 31. But still no update in settings and notphing in hicare.
Need help for this, would like everything to be like when I bought the phone(system fully functional)
What I doo,any suggestion?
Thanks

Help with Firmware Finder to get Nougat

Hi there
I am NXT-L29C636B193.
I have rooted or unlocked bootloader.
I have grown impatient with waiting now... I'm almost convinced Huawei won't update my device... It is still on June Patch...
I am in the UK, maybe why there has been no update...
How can I use Firmware Finder or other software to safely upgrade to Nougat without rooting? As I want to be able to use Android Pay in the future...
Firmware finder has been updated so it isn't as clear as before... Some of the updates displayed now say Full OTA but they used to say just OTA...?
Please help!
All advice is appreciated
Some of the updates shown on Firmware Finder has changed...
Notice the two screenshot, some used to say OTA but have changed to say Full OTA?

Anyone has L19C636B380/360 full firmware package?

I had Nougat(L19C636B360) when I bought my phone. The box had model "AL-10" written on it although the firmware was of L-19. Anyways, an OTA update arrived, I clicked on update and it got bricked. I had never unlocked the bootloader, rooted or anything. After a lot of trial and error, I successfully got my phone working by flashing MM 6.0 - FRD-L19C900B131 through 'dload' method. But this firmware is buggy as hell. My phone's laggy, crashes constantly, the photos are worse etc.
A found a couple of stock firmware packages(L19C636B360) on the forum but they come with two separate files(update.zip and updata_data_full_hw_specxx.zip) and my phone doesn't support them(Installation fail). Also they are of only 2-2.5GB, whereas the one I successfully flashed is 3.3GB
Note : I have unlocked the bootloader now
And you are developer?
Wrong forum to post buddy.

unable to flash recovery.

i rebranded my FRD-L19C900B141 to FRD-L19 with the help of re branding guide. i was then able to receive update of 1.3 GB which was apparently a mistake to do. i updated , it went smoothly but then now i'm missing Update Option and feature like smart key. i tried to flash recovery now, and it says remote command cannot be executed. i have frp and phone both unlocked and fastboot and adb both are detecting the device. Please Help

yes , U did a mistake after re-brand you had to receive the 2.2 GB update , this occurs because you didn't dload the official firmware of EMUI 4.1 after re-brand .and currently your build number will be in NRDM test keys . you wont receive any update , lacks of lot of feature , phone hangs a lot and drains .
So, do a thing just rollback to mash-mellow EMUI 4.1 FRD-L19C432B131 and from there make sure you are getting the update more than 2 GB ,if not just dload again the official firmware of B131 and again reset and see this time you will definitely get the right package .
INSTALL and enjoy.

Well , the reason I was not able to flash again with error , remote command not allowed was somehow the phones bootloader was not unlocked when it was showing unlocked. So unlocked the bootloader again and flashed the recovery.
About all the features , I had to reset the firmware from with in the settings , it deleted the os. So then I went to recovery and flashed official FRD-L19C432B131 and then I got the update of 2.4 GB in update update app, 2.4 GB is the correct one, not the 1.4 or 3.4. after updating I'm quite happy now.

Firmware Finder in-app-proxy/DNS not working anymore - solution??

Hi,
I just realized that Firmware Finder can't update the device anymore as Huawei changed some protocol. That sucks as b370 was just approved for the Mate 9.
So how to upgrade the device now? Not interested in rooting and all the other junk that potentially brick the device.
Thanks
I not prepared to do this but someone on another thread said, you install HiSuite 8 onto your pc...connect your phone. Then you goto update firmware and it will say you have the latest version, which we know isn't true, but it will give you the option to downgrade to latest nougat..... This is true as it did give me this option...
Once downgraded, you can use your phone OTA to update back to latest oreo....... Phew!
Like I said, to much faffing around just to have latest firmware...
