[Q][**IMP**] Weirdly Hard Bricked my OnePlus One [Non Recoverable] - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I recently bricked my OnePlus One. I can boot into fastboot but not in recovery, so I did what most of you guys would do, flashed the fastboot ROM through fastboot. Still I wasn't able to boot into recovery, but just fastboot. (I'm still stuck in OnePlus logo if booted normally).
So what I tried next is the Hard Brick guide. Again the same problem.
I don't know what the problem is now. Can anybody please find a solution for this or suggest something?
I'm really worried, I just bought OnePlus One an year back, it's been 1 yr 2 month, now that I don't have my warranty I don't know what to do.
Any suggestions are welcome.

This is probably the best get.I always use this in case fastboot doesn't work.
Important-Always use win7 or winXp and run the program as Administrator.
Good Luck!

If it was damaged by water, some hardware could be permanently damaged, so you cannot fix it by software.
By the way, good luck.

Yes I know. I just got it checked, it's the Motherboard. So it's no use repairing it now. RIP OnePlus One

You need to get a blankflasher wich will flash thd fastboot back to your device. In my opinion is your device softbricked. Do you still have the bootloader?

Sorry but if you haven't previously done it then it is too late now to use that guide as you need a fully functioning bootloader and recovery to make those back ups. I know you don't want to hear it and it might be hard to accept but if you only have apx mode then you are hard bricked and there is nothing you can do other than replace the motherboard.

Huawei Honor P6 H60-L04 Brick Problem.

Hello guys, i need your help to unbrick my phone. First of all what i did to brick it was to unlock the boot loader, then used the Honor 6 Multi Tool to get a Cwm on it with it, it was EMUI 3.1 in the choosing. After that my phone restarted and now its hung up at Honor sign, and i can only access Fastboot mode but not recovery. I tried already playing new flashes on it with cust, boot, system and recovery and got a update on my sd card but it didnt work, it doesnt recognize my update and still only shows the honor screen, can anyone help me? Much appreciated

Is your phone recognized as an adb device?
Yes
Then get twrp for your phone by googling it along with how to flash it. After flashing that recovery, you can easily flash another ROM or even the stock ROM. Google it a bit and if you still need help, I will be happy to explain in detail.

Or alternatively if you don't want the twrp recovery, just download emui 4.0, use huawei update extractor to extract all images and flash them using adb tools.
One other method far more simpler which might or might not work, download latest firmware, extract UPDATE.zip, make a dload folder in your SD card, copy this zip in there, press and hold volume up+down+power to force an update from SD card.
In short, your phone is not bricked at all, just needs couple of hours of tinkering and it will be good as new.
Feel free to ask any questions. Will be happy to help in anyway possible.

Tq for the suggestion. So what ks brick anyway???
According to my limited knowledge and it is quite limited (IMO), There are two bricks, soft brick and hard brick. Soft brick is when you can enter bootloader or recovery or your device is still recognized as an adb device or you can still flash images to your phone after some tinkering (even when adb does not recognize it).
Hard brick, well, should be, when you can not do any of the above.
One can recover from a soft brick but not from a hard brick.

OPO recovery tool issue

Hi all ,
I'm having issues with the OPO recovery tool while trying to fix my hard bricked device.
After going through all the steps described in the original post, the device line lights up green apparently meaning that the device is unbricked. Yet now the phone is stuck at the one plus logo with nothing else happening. I am able to boot into fastboot mode but that's the extent of it.
I would really appreciate any help as I am getting really sick of my iphone 4 and can't really afford another phone.
Thank you

Fake Rom

To anyone who has bought a xiaomi Mi 5X and has a multilanguage rom, DON´T try to change the rom unless you wannna get a beautiful Brick.
Yeah! I have one device with this problem. After flash ROM in download mode, when try to power on device, this comes in 900E Diagnostic mode. Tried test point and flashed ROM again and after finish, again no boot, device is in 900E again and again. I have a nice paper weight here now! Please, someone post a way to fix this!
This happened to me today. Flashed TWRP and followed up with MIUI 9, on reboot...nothing. After much research I’ve ordered a deep flash cable as a last hope. I also get 900E in device manager.
Wife not happy.

where did you bought your mi5x?? mine was from geekbuying and it happens the same. i was trying to update it to miui 9 official chinesse beta and now its on Diagnostic 900E mode and i was needing a phone like urgent...
i'm disappointed rigth now.
:crying:
I purchased mine from Offical Xiaomi Store on Aliexpress ( I know not official ).
The flash to twrp went perfectly, not sure why it screwed up so badly.
People who have done testpoint, which rom did you flash?

I tried all available ROMs for Mi 5X using test point method and doesn't work unfortunately. After flash with success, when press Power Button to Power on device, this comes back to 900E diagnostic mode.

When flash via download mode, no way to boot like in fastboot mode, then no way to access recovery anymore. Someone, like Guy that install this hacked ROM for sellers need to public the method to recovery It or publish moded ROM for try to flash this again or a way to recover device for use with official ROM again.
When I did the install, TWRP installed and booted to recovery without a problem. When flashing MIUI 9 I do recall an error about missing firmware, not sure if that was a problem. Seems strange the MiFlash and official ROM cannot fix this. I have doubts that the seller is going to help me in any way....

Yeah. The better way is open dispute and send it back and get New one with official firmware out of box or get money back.
So is this something that only happens to the phones that have the global rom flashed from the seller? As in it can be avoided by asking for the phone with stock software/firmware?
I have the same problem. Phone ordered from GeekBuing and Fake Global ROM. I think Xiaomi has not issued a global ROM for this phone yet. I have already written to the retailers that I want to complain about the phone and let me write about how to revive it. So far no one knows what to do with that, is it?

Absolutely I do not understand why flash there such a dull ROM. They had to know that people would want to flash the original ROM. Those bricks are their problem.

Yeah friend! idk why this! People that bought it know that this comes with Chinese ROM or Global ROM when it has Global ROM. If device has only Chinese ROM, sellers want to keep it and users choose if unlock bootloader and change the ROM or not.
Exactly.
Anyone can extract and upload this Fake rom, so we can at least have an slightly working phone? Or anyone managed to install other rom?
Thanks
Did anyone try to revive the phone via a deep flash cable?
