check in your play store if at the settings says your device is uncertified....if it says that and your not rooted and ur using a exynos device i would recomend a factory reset if u registered your device with samsung of your country, that fixed my case...i forgot to register my device with samsung and after a factory reset i was back to certified in play store.
you are right...in the Google play store setting. it's mentioned uncertified.
I am from India and no way I can register my device in samsung india website.
I don't know what to do now:crying:
Now I completely figure it out. Remove google account and adding google account again in account section.
Then Netflix was back but still the play store setting was showing uncertified....problem one resolved (Netflix is back!)
Then
I go to app & disabled google play store after clearing cache & data. It restore the factory default version of play store.
Restarted the phone & enable google play store...open play store & accepted agreement etc.
Vola!
All good and my device is now certified !! (Problem two resolved)
Restarted again.
Back to normal life

So my device was listed yesterday in the Google Play store on the website, I did a nandroid, tried a different rom, was having issues so restored my nandroid. Today i
my device doesn't show up on the Google Play Store website... I cleared data/cache on the app and removed updates which forced it to re-upgrade. I can access and install apps via the phone app but still don't see the device on the website?
Any other ideas?
Weird, now it does. Must have been a Play Store glitch? Have noticed a few on and off issues with it lately... and I know some sites like Android Police were reporting that there were some issues.
I recently updated my phone to cm11 m8. All was fine until I opened my play store. It gave me the message 'unfortunately, google play store has stopped.' I tried the usual clear cache and data, rebooting the phone etc. Nothing seems to work. I then went ahead to uninstalling updates for Google play services. And when I realised that many apps wouldn't run on the older version I knew I was screwed. If I'm not wrong, the only way to update google play services is through the play store and my play store isn't working. Please someone help me. I feel so worried rn.

Make sure it's set as a system app, and not a user app.

Maybe the google apps weren't installed as they should have been when you were installing cm11. Try to get rid of any app that's related to google on your phone, and then find a zip folder of google apps (I suppose you can find one on cm webpage) and flash it via c.w.m.

i think you need to post to the developers of the rom to add some app gapps including the whole playstore and google services wich in flashable.zip so you could easily install
flash...
Same advice here
remove everything and flash gapps as a zip...
it will most probably work :good:
Cheers :good:
Google Play doesn't seem to want to auto-update apps on my device, it's been like this for a few weeks since I clean installed of YNG1TAS17L, so I have to do it manually. It worked once when I set the option to "Auto-update apps at any time" but I can't risk using this as it would use up mobile data.
Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Are your Google Play Services updated?
Is your Google Play Store updated?
Did you try rebooting the device?
Have you forced stop or disabled any Google service?

Google Play Services is 7.3.29 (That's dated April 21st, but matches my Nexus 7 version and apps auto-update fine)
Play Store is 5.5.12
Also had lots of reboots
Only Google Play Movies & TV, Play Music, and Hangouts have been frozen
Also, my device installs new apps from the Play store when initiated from Google Play on a desktop PC no problem, but all the updates are still ignored, despite needing no permission changes.

Did you try changing the settings to default for Google Play Store?
Clear data and clear cache of this app
Reboot and try
If still it doesn't work, I guess you need to reinstall the OS

Didn't work either, guess I'm out of luck. I'll update manually for now until next COS 12 release
Random issue starting today... Went to update an app (I have auto updates off). Wouldn't update, gave me error 190. I deleted app data and cache for play store, deleted data for play services, deleted and reentered my Google account info... Nothing's working... Help? I hit the build number for the store to update and it says it will, but just never does.
I'm on a Samsung s5 neo running 5.1.1. Haven't changed or even downloaded anything recently besides Samsung themes.
Any help would be appreciated, really don't want to have to format it

No, this is after a factory reset with nothing else added.
