Hi everyone,
I come back from Golden Griffin to stock Nougat on my 920F. Do the nougat also have a problem with deep sleep ?
I turn on it after a few hours of standby, and then I received messages on Whatsapp from last few hours - without earlier notifications.
Please help me.
Rgs.

i m a french user of galaxy s6 that i rooted (odin+ root)/unrooted after enforcing seandroid message, i made a wipe data factory.
i recorvered it with a stock firmware the last after 3cioa its cok5 i suppose.
now the phone is getting down in sleep mod and i have to restart it with power/vol - often.
is it a sod (sleep of death) ?
For exemple in quick charge, no problem, it can exit the standby (sleep mode ?)with power buton.
i can work with the phone a few hour with no problem.
then it goes in standby mod, and getting power off itself without any signal on the screen.
I m sorry for my English writing
somebody would have an idea of the problem ?
Hello everyone, I have a problem with Doze, I wait until 15h, doze does not work! And I can not seem to find what stops it from working !
Up please !
I think you might be reading the information incorrectly. Deep Sleep is doze and it's showing that the phone spent 95% of the 15 hours in that state. For Awake (Screen Off) which is the time that the screen was off but the phone wasn't in doze mode, you're showing just 3%. During the 15 hours the phone was on the battery dropped just 12%, less than 1% an hour.
Those are very good numbers. You don't have a problem here.
Hi guys,
after several days of research on google and in this forum I still couldn't find out what's the issue with my new Galaxy S7 device so I'm posting it here and hope for you to help me out.
I also had the same issue on my Galaxy S6 before but it was way worse because of the smaller battery.
The phone is not even a week old and I have issues with it to go into deep sleep mode since day one. I even installed BBS and Wakelock Detector with granted rights for the battery stats but I wasn't able to find out what causes the problem (it's the exynos model by the way).
The Kernel Wakelock stats in the Wakelock Detector App don't show unusual usage anyway, those who are always on top (also with my Galaxy S6) are the "PowerManagerService.Display", "13960000.decon_f" and "PowerManagerService.WakeLocks" followed by "mmc0_detect" and "bbd_wake_lock" (I will post a photo later, I am currently at work in my break) which hold the phone awake around 20-25% so it isn't always in deep sleep or doze mode.
All the google research said that the decon_f thing is connected to the DOT/SOT which I cannot confirm in my case. I still don't understand what the problem could cause because I didn't even use it for a week. When I set up the phone I did it clean without copying apps or using the backup from my Google account so I don't think that could be a reason for it.
I appreciate your help guys, thanks!
I don't really now much about your problem (sorry for that), but if you're rooted i can really recommend you the app ForceDoze. It activates the Doze Mode right after you turn off your screen and lets you black-/whitelist apps, which are/aren't allowed to make wakelocks. It also gives you the ability to control other doze related settings.
It's not rooted and I don't want to trigger the Knox counter so I think I will stay with the stock configuration. I'm really wondering what could cause it, never had those issues on my Redmi Note 4
Since a few days when the battery of my Galaxy S7 comes to about 30%, it drops suddenly to 3% in one second ! Do you know how to fix this problem ?
Get a new battery
You can try this:
- Go to the dialer
- Type *#0228#
- Press "Quick Start"
- Press "OK"
- Phone will lock automaticaly, don't press anything
- After a few seconds, it should get to the lockscreen. You can now use ist normaly.
If it doesn't get automaticaly to the lockscreen press the Home-, or the Powerbutton, unlock it, and try this again after a few minutes.
there's another discussion about this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/random-shutdowns-to-0-battery-t3726960). I suspect it has something to do with the latest update ..
Changed from a Huawei P10 to s7
Hi All
Just wanted to check if this is normal as i have just come from the p10 ...
The P10 seemed very good at deep sleep meaning that once unplugged at 100 % I would look at my phone after a few hours and it would usually still be 100 %. I have a fitbit attached at all times to my s7 the same as i did on the p10 yet the s7 seems to lose power even when in sleep. i have disabled loads of bloatware in the s7 as i thought that could be the issue (including samsung pay that was forced onto me !) using package disabler pro and although it has helped it still happens. without uploading stats this was more of a question to see if its just the way it is on the s7 ? i have a galaxy tab s3 that holds its charge when in sleep so was curious as its the same version of android i think..
Many thanks in advance
2% - 5% per hour in deep sleep is normal. When the phone doesent go to deep sleep, it could be more than 10% per hour.
