Did someone try the AOKP rom from lsdty?
I've tried the last build (16 may) for almost 2 weeks, therefore now I can give my opinions about this rom.
Pros:
- really smooth, no app crashes and no random reboots (only one in 2 weeks)
- good battery life (10h SOT or something more)
- it has not the annoying (for me) bug of bluetooth automatically turned off on reboots (in mokee I solved with tasker, but without external apps it's better)
- a lot of features and personalizations
Cons:
- sometime the battery, after a charge, remains at 100% till a reboot
- the gps works in navigation, but with gps test it's impossible to have a fix
- sometime happen that the phone won't reconize my fingerprint, asking me the pin
- there is an issue with dual sim management, because it doesn't keep the settings after reboot (I've not personally tested dual sim features)

AOKP was my favorite ROM in the hammerhead days, but this seems too unstabe thought. Maybe I'll waiting for the next release.
I'm using this rom, 13-05 and 16-05 are stable, i just love AOKP, in my opinion better than Laos and Mokee , zero problems

been using lsdty 13-05 rom for few days battery life is similar to razziel's mokee rom
after seeing Tyrospy post I try the GPS tester soft reboot everytime... GPS not working
So only gps not working so far?
I flashed last version yesterday night and for me GPS is working fine, because I've used maps for 3 hours this afternoon, but then I'll try with GPS test.
Photos from default app seems better, and also the battery life, at the first look, seems a lot better than previous version tried.
"low charge" string disappeared, and I've not the issue with the Bluetooth that automatically turn off after reboot.
For now it's a great rom. We will see after some more time of test.
PS. I can't test dual sim issue because I'm using the phone with only a sim.

LOS13 by jacoghi and Mokke work fine and stable and very similar. Mokke have some functionality camera and dev kernel available, built-in SU. RR very old FW now. AOKP have very more additional ROM function, but new kernel need to be tested
Also in aokp sometime happen the 100% permanent battery bug after a charge, that remains till the reboot.

I tried to find my position on maps, and worked...
- for the status bar, There is a mode to open It swiping down directly on the homescreen?
Is unconfortable to swipe down from top of the screen all time...

I didn't see that option, but if you change launcher you can have that feature. For example with arrow launcher I've that option though I don't use it, because I prefer to associate to that gesture the search box.

Bad mic
[Sorry for my bad english] I've tryed this rom for about 10 days, and i found It excellent and fluent, with apparently no critical bugs, but the mic sound was so horrible, so i returned to Epic rom. It's a very good build anyway.
This appears to be the smoothest Cm13 based ROM I've tried so far.
Yet to find any issues with it.

This is an unofficial nightly build of CM10, I will make new builds every 2 days or so, so you can stay update with the nightlies. Use any JB GApps, I used inverted ones and they work great.

Yes that and some issues in portrait mode. Use a Live Wallpaper, I use the Mass Effect 3 one, pretty awesome

i also noticed that the boot animation doesn't stutter the first time through as it loads like it does on ics. improved storage throughput or better nvidia drivers?

just search for gapps jb here on xda and you'll find a bunch. i grabbed the 8-13 inverted package.
I am going to do a dungeon raid on the tf300 forums and plunder some JB GAPPS. They should work aye?

Its caching the bootanimation, JB thing plus added fixes.
GPS does not appear to be working. GPS Status app doesn't see any birds. I did verify that GPS is enabled under location services.

Yup, known, its already in OP.
Idk why it feels slow like TF300 JB I really dont remember how fast was this tablet with ICS... Idk if it will be fast and smooth like TF300 with jb..
Just to clarify - this does not replace the existing bootloader, correct? Can I get back to ICS easily if desired?

Yes, you can get back to ICS any time you like. I have jumped between CM builds and ICS a few times, just remember to flash the stock kernel using fastboot or whatever method since TWRP wont restore boot backups.
I would first like to say that I love this! Though it has issues. It feels stable for a first build!
I encountered the following issue though: When selecting a custom stationary wallpaper from the gallery, after cropping the wallpaper, it defaults back to the green one. Selecting from the included wallpapers works fine though, of course with the odd tearing though.

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

instalation goes perfect..it works! one thing i miss: Quicksettings..
With it being release just today not sure how much data has been acquired but has this run into the same issues as CM based roms: bootloops, random reboots, shutdowns, battery drain etc?

what´s the experience with the batterylife from AOPK?
Every time I access the camera, the phone freezes and reboots.

Battery is so-so, beats CM.
Camera: starts reboot>bootloop
No bluetooth or rather cant turn it on. (bluetooth address lists unavailable)
Some of my apps are not available to install (incompatible which is odd seeing as its still 4.3.1)
Browsing AOKP wallpapers crashes, sometimes initiates bootloop sometimes doesnt, hit and miss on that one.
But does a decent job of being a phone. Cheers

To be honest
Its something different than the other aosp roms in the community
And the multiwindow feature is something new thats seen in the rom

Fresh install gave constant fc of aosp keyboard after 3 installs. Tried clearing cache etc but no difference. Couldn't input any search or WiFi details so used voice search and runs OK with Samsung keyboard.
Feels really fast compared to nameless and RR when using agni. Screen wakes a lot quicker than RR with very similar/same setup.
Q: Is there the option to get rid of google search bar on the homescreens? Searched every option in settings but can't see it.

Didn't have any keyboard FC at start, but oh well, at least you got past it.
About the search bar, its a google thing, if you don't have google search app installed it won't appear, this ROM isn't an all in one type so there won't be a lot of misc toggles like for search bar.
And about speed, glad you liked it, enjoy the ROM

The Gapps I use include google key board by default and remove aosp keyboard. But if aosp keyboard FCs, kindly give a logcat, I'll have to look into the same.

6 restarts in one hour. After last 3 restarts,it is showing "Android is starting" and "Optimizing app" screen. and when it finishes, it restarts again. Cant go to main screen anymore.

That is a kernel feature. I will see what I can do.
This rom has the kernel I use for RR also.

Ambient display would be awesome, its one of the few reasons I like some sense roms! Nice to see you at work again @klabit87, I really liked the customization you allowed in your RR kernel! Is the battery life of this ROM better than RR in your opinion? I've noticed that aosp nougat ROMs battery aren't the greatest at this time, I blame that on HTC one m9 poor open source compatibility, there's been so many issues between cm and los on this phone hahaha.

I really can't say if it is better or worse. I haven't ran the rom steadily for more than a day due to testing more features to be added.
Also my hima device is not my daily driver.

Hi guys, I already tested this room and so far is working really smooth, the battery life is good as well...keep going with guys....

The HDR option in the camera app
The sound quality to be improved, with v4a i don't get better sound..

Great Rom, it's actually very battery friendly and does everything o need it to do, any updates planned.
Android 10 is here! You can now update to 52.1.A.0.532.
Rollout includes Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Compact and XZ2 Premium!
You can check XperiFirm for the detailed rollout. Most of the common European generic customisations are available for dual and single SIM, US as well for single SIM. Very little for Asia so far. Update is around 730MB OTA for DACHBLX.
Dark mode is here! Launcher was not updated, so no gestures, and things like the Google search bar stay light in dark mode as a result. Recent apps / multitasking is the same as it was on Pie.
Digital Wellbeing and other Android 10 goodies are of course available.

No new gesture navigation and new recent apps. Well, that is only for XPERIA 2019 devices and newer (devices with new version of XPERIA Home).
Samsung at least updated their UI and Home. This is more like Windows 10 version 1909 update. Nothing visible new.
When you tap on recent apps is it the same as on pie or its horizontal scrolling now?

doesn't work on Android 10 it FC's i think we need to wait the supported version for android 10
this is really unexpected from Sony to not include the gestures control in XZ3.... SO BAD!

Digital Wellbeing and parental controls is there in Settings.
Yep, but for me, it's not the Best idea of Android 10.
On my 6t, wellbeing drains a lot of battery.
But it's not a problem now[emoji6]

Xperia XZ2 Compact microphone issue
Got the Update today. Xperia XZ2 Compact.
Immediately after the update process i noticed a significant drop in microphone volume (microphone sensitivity) when recording voice messages.
Can somebody confirm this systemwide issue?
If yes, is there a non-root solution or even a new setting involved?
(My volume settings are all at maximum)
