Hello,
I have a car stereo that works with Android 6.0.1 and a resolution of 1024x600.
Tomtom Go 1.16 is installed on it and works very well.
I would like to change the image that appears when launching the application.
From what I found, I have to save my image in png format.
On the other hand, I have a few questions:
- Where is the image that appears when launching the application?
- What is the name of the image to replace?
- Should I have an image resolution of my screen or smaller?
A little tutorial would be welcome
Thanks
I tried tomtom on the 5.1.1 px3 and it didn't work.
So you're telling tomtom is working on the 6.0 px5 setup.
Very nice!!!

I had Tomtom on my old Erisin ES4046 car with Android 5.1.1 and RK3188.
Now it is installed on an Erisin ES6046 with Android 6.0.1 and Rockchip PX5.
No problem with the 2 devices.
There is no one to tell me how to replace the Tomtom boot image.
How did you make it work? Mine is stops at the first screen. It tries to connect to internet but fails.

I had the same problem which was caused by the device id being to long. If you have root then get a device id changer from play store and change it to 8 random numbers (76543890 example) this worked for me and now Tomtom works fine. Uninstall Tomtom first making sure to delete any leftover folders, change id number then reinstall
Thank you!!!! I'm going to try. Let you know the outcome.

Has anyone used TomTOm Nav 5 on the new Mio A201? I can't get it to install.
Search forum for deatils on how to install TomTom on any Windows Mobile 5 device. Something about copying the CAB files to the device and installing from there. TomTom's normal PC installer has not been fixed yet.
Searched and searched but couldn't find anything. Can someone pls let me know what the steps are. I have tried tried executing the 4 cab files individually. TT installs but does not run - screen goes white for a second than back to start screen.
Does it have a QVGA screen? If so update to the latest version of TomTom whatever the latest patch download is from there site.
No it's got a 320x240 display which I believe is standard on PDAs. I've tried the SD card on a Toshiba e740 and it runs OK.

Do you know which mobile phone you are using and the card wheel works on your machine then? Of course I have installed it but it only shows blank screen of the homescreen.
Can someone who has successfully installed check if there is a Carousel*.mui.0409.dll file in your windows directory and download it here. I think this file controls the display. Just my guess!!

Can you be more specific?
Which actions do you perform? Input and output?
Usually it's just executing the cab file on your mobile and done.
When I try to install the tomtom cab it hangs at the first block of the progress bar.
And when I try to install mc guider it tells me that it's not an original SD card?
Even though when I try to install the Dusk theme it doesn't too??
I think it's a bit strange?
A little update.
TomTom is running
Now I need to install the maps I don't have any idea yet how to do that?
Can someone help me with that?
Thanks.

With my install on the TouchPro² it was somehow included, the map already had to be copied on the SD card.
Installing a new map, I don't know. I've the Benelux now and I want to install the Europe but the guide is written in unclear broken English. You have to use Easyinstall or something :S.
Help WilcoD or help me
Hey Wilco,
i've got a diamond 2 too. first you've gotta have frameNET 3.5 installed on your phone. Then download the map you wanna use, i've got western and central Europe 2GB version. And first let it be placed on your pc.
Then install 'easy activator' on your pc, and run the program. Running it speaks for itself.
Then instal the maps on your TD2, on the sd. And get the 'voice fix' file and place that in the 'navigator' folder.
And your good to go.
Good luck
All sorted out, works like charm now
I have EnergyROM Cookie version 21905 dated June 11. After I install TomTom Navigator 7 and restart, I get the BTTrayCE error on bootup and my bluetooth doesn't startup. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem without removing TomTom?

Thanks for the reply. I actually did do a search, but that thread was not in the result list for some reason?
(1) Flash your ROM again to restore your native BT.
(2) Before installing TT, open the CAB and remove the BT module.

Hi,
Yesterday, I tried to start a Destinator 7 on my Touch PRO without a success!
At the beginning it is seems that is starts normally (there is a slpash screen) but by the end of the loading it just exits the programm without any warning.
I have restarted the device, downoaded new Destinator 9 but the problem remains the same...... it just won't load.
Does anybody know what to do?
I am running on orginal 6,1 WM (not cooked) and the programm was working (I think 6months ago), also I havent installed any programms at all during that time.
Thanks

It sounds like you have run out of space to have the application initialize properly. Destinator 9 requires 48MB of available storage on the handset. v7 needs at least 36MB.
