I suggest No One to try this CM 13 ROM..I have tried to install it multiple times & Everytime my A6000 was stuck at bootloop...
I was using Mokee ROM (Lollipo 5.1.1) & wiped Dalvik,Cache,System & data & installed Cm 13 & gapps 5.1.1 successfully..But When I boot up,it is stuck at Lenovo Logo Screen (Bootscreen) .I have waited for more than 15 minutes to bootup ,but it didn't happen..
So I request you to proceed with caution & do not install it..Wait for the second version or other marshmallow ROMs

Flash the stock lollipop firmware which was 1 gb in size from Twrp. Just copy it into your Sd and flash it directly.

You guys need to flash the stock lollipop, then flash CM12.1 and then CM 13. Worked for me. Try it yourself.
For few days ,I have tried to unbrick my A6000 with No Luck.So I have to visit the Service Center & they replaced the Motherboard to fix my phone.I doubt a "wrong boot partition Restore" have caused the issue. What's your thoughts on that?

Thanks bro, best rom for my RN3
gonna give this rom i try, ill come back with some feed back
between, just seen we got a separate forum for our beloveds redmi note 3, about time... but better late than never
Some devices with 6.5.12 Global Dev ROM has a issue that don't pass from MI account. To bypass it, flash 6.4.28 (download on second post), setup it, then upgrade to 6.5.12 or wait for next Global Dev Release.
is there any way to update to new version without overwriting everything with locked bootloader? im still new to xiaomi flashing
my thoughts so far:
1) first run takes forever to show something other than loading screen, don't panic
2) indeed, you can't login to xiaomi account with 6.5.12 - you will get error loop cycle. repeat very-quick-tap on the "retry" button and you will skip this thing. you cannot login to xiaomi later anyway. im gonna try 6.4.28 while i'm waiting for bootloader unlocking approval :|

Hi, your Global ROM is a life savior! by the way, how do I upgrade to 6.5.12 from 6.4.28? I did it through the SP Flash method? Thanks in advance.
Thank you... have been trying since 20th Dec 2015. Finally found your solution (which worked).
I didn't realise that Qualcomm was Snapdragon and that I had a MediaTek.
My Redmi Note 3, which came with a hacked English version of software v7.00.99 on release day straight from China and therefore could not update OTA or via other means.
Just to clarify part of the instructions above (this worked with my phone):
Turn phone off, do not connect usb cable to phone.
Press the power button and down volume button together (do not release until end).
After the phone boots to fastrecover, connect the usb cable to phone (do not release both buttons, this can be difficult with one pair of hands).
Continue to hold both buttons until Red bar turns 100% Yellow.
Release both buttons, disconnect usb cable.
Now reboot phone.
Now I can enjoy my Christmas present.
Thank you so much.

Question about Fastboot + Miflash + Unlocked Bootloader using unofficial method!

Hello everyone!
I bought a mi 4c from gearbest which came with a custom\unofficial possibly full bloatware rom, because of this i decided to install the last version of miui for mi 4c from xiaomi.eu! To do this i had to unlock my bootloader, yes my bootloader was looked because before i thought about xiaomi.eu rom, i had installed the lastest stable chinese rom by using the rom updater which i think that it looked the bootloader when i did this. I don't know if the bootloader was looked or not while i had that custom rom on the phone because i did not check it.
So my bootloader was looked and i wanted to install TWR to install the xiaomi.eu rom because of the international support and because of google services and play store which i had tried to install in the chinese stable rom but i had failed miserably to do so! So i want to install TWR but i did not want to wait for the sms with the code to unlock my phone because i had read people complaining that the code takes a long time to arrive and etc! So to solve my problem i used this unofficial way to unlock my bootloader -> http://en.miui.com/thread-247961-1-1.html <- which worked and i got my bootloader unlock, installed TWR and the lasted xiaomi.eu rom for mi 4c
/\ I regret using the unofficial method to unlock my phone, because two days later o got the sms with the code Haste is the enemy of perfection!
But now i want to go back to stable chinese rom because my phone is overheating and throttling a lot and also the GPS works really bad which it did not on the chinese rom!
Now for the doubts:
1 - If i use Fastboot + Miflash to flash the last stable chinese rom, is there the risk of bricking my phone? Because of the way i had unlocked my bootloader i mean?
2 - Is there way to lock the bootloader again, so i can unlock it the right way? I mean using mi unlock and the code that i've received? It will make any difference using the official way in relation to the unofficial way, it will be worth it i mean?
1. only risk is you have a power blackout
2. you can, fastboot oem lock
Hi! Please I really need your experience
I will receive my new Mi 4c with the Bootloader Unlocked from the re seller , Rooted and with Multi language ROM.
Do I have to unlock the bootloader with the official method (which means flashing Cina Dev ROM -to re lock the bootloader- and go on with the Xiaomi's code procedure..) or it is possible to get all things done as soon I get my device by choosing an unofficial weekly miui.eu international ROM and install it normally from the Updater app but also be able to update it every week via Updater without issues?
My problem with flashing is that I don't have my laptop and the one I have now runs win xp.

1. i suppose no, it will only brick if you have TWRP recovery flashed to recovery partition. My workaround is to never flash TWRP in the first place, but boot to TWRP from Fastboot every time i want to flash something. definitely a hassle but should be guaranteed to work. Never tried though, i am fine with CM ROM and unlocked bootloader.
2. If i read correctly, the latest dev ROM will lock the bootloader back. So if you want to unlock, you must flash the old MIUI version as suggested in the unofficial unlock method again.

you can unlock via unofficial method. Win XP should be able to flash it. CMIIW though

Fix miui can't be installed on this device, also anti 4 ubl and downgrade possibility

Hi, I just found a thread on MIUI forum which inspire me
http://en.miui.com/thread-3450268-1-1.html
Kudos to the OP in that thread
I tried the tutorial to one of my friend's Note 5, the tutorial works, so now we know that DOWNGRADING FROM 8.82 GLOBAL TO 8.7.26 GLOBAL IS POSSIBLE
Now I need someone with bricked devices because of downgrading to try it, you must download fastboot room first and sideload it to your redmi note 5
Here is the summary and the short version of the already short tutorial (lol), also some fixes needed, for those stuck in "MIUI CANT BE INSTALLED ON THIS DEVICE" error AND NEED AUTHORIZATION CODE TO FLASH
ALSO FOR THOSE IN ANTI 4 WITH FAKE UBL (MAINLY DEVICES SOLD IN INDONESIA), WHO WANT TO FLASH CHINA ROM AND BIND THE MI ACCOUNT TO THE DEVICE TO LATER REQUESTING UNLOCK TO XIAOMI
FOR THOSE WHOSE DEVICES ARE BRICKED BECAUSE OF DOWNGRADING, YOU CAN TRY TO DOWNLOAD THE FASTBOOT ROM AND FLASH IT WITH THE SAME STEP, NEVER TESTED IT WITH EDL MODE, SO ANYONE?
1. Xiaomi Tool
2. XiaomiTool ADB
3. MI FLASH PRO
4. ROM GLOBAL 9.5.19
5. ROM GLOBAL 8.7.26
6. ROM GLOBAL 8.8.2
7. ROM CHINA 8.7.26
8. DRIVER2 QUALCOM, ADB DLL YG BISA DICARI DI POST LAIN
THE STEPS :
1. FLASH YOUR NOTE 5 TO 8.8.2 GLOBAL ROM USING MI FLASH PRO
2. OPEN CMD AND SIDE LOAD USING XIAOMITOOL ADB, COMMAND IS xiaomiadb sideload_miui<spasi>namafile.zip. WHICH IS miui_HMNote5HMNote5ProGlobal_8.7.26_d7fb438aef_8.1.zip. YOUR DEVICE WILL BE DOWNGRADED TO 8.7.2.6 GLOBAL ROM
3. NOW FLASH YOUR PHONE USING ANY TOOL LIKE XIAOMITOOL TO 8.7.2.6 CHINA
4. VOILA, IT WORKS NOW
don't know when Xiaomi will close this bug hole, so try it while you can
Tried to downgrade from 8.82 Global Rom to 8.726 Rom Global, later flashed the China 8.726 rom and it worked
It means we still can downgrade, I think this is a bug in xiaomi server, can anyone use this bug for our advantage?
Thanks

There should have been note posted about that guide: -
NOT FOR DEVICES HARD BRICKED BY DOWNGRADING ON ARP!
You still need access to recovery/fastboot for that tutorial to work.

Note 7 pro downgrade

Hi Experts,
I have Redmi note 7 pro.I experienced the earlier update 10.3.10 draining my battery too fast. Then I received 10.0.3.12 I think its al right but 10.0.3.7 was best battery backup. So i decided to go back for same
. I tried with service center they failed to downgrade. They said its impossible to downgrade it will brick my device. My mi account have boot loader unlocked with another device redmi 3s prime. I logged in with same account. Will it unlock my note 7 pro bootloader?or is it safe to downgrade? I heard about anti-rollback feature.what should I do?
Its my 1st xda post hope get reply
You can downgrade by unlocking bootloader & then download platform tools (google & download) & extract it to c drive & then extract fastboot rom into same folder & then put your phone in fastboot mode & run the file named flashall.bat & you will be able to downgrade

To downgrade u would first need to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP, clear all the partitions (virtually making sure that only thing left on the phone is recovery) and then flash the respective Recovery ROM.
Use Peter's TWRP for this.
