My Bixby button does not work. I press it and I get nothing. It's not a big deal because Bixby kinda sucks right now, but is there a possibility that I disabled it somehow? Anyone else having similar issues?
They messed it up with last update, hopefully it fixed soon so I can remap it

Consider yourself lucky. I wish mine would stop working...or just disappear altogether.

Has any one else had their xoom freeze so bad that the hardware button stopped working? Mine actually froze with the screen on for a long time. I had to use a ADB to send a reboot command. If I hadn't been at home that would have been bad... any one else had this problem?
I love my Xoom but Honeycomb needs work!
Power + vol up didn't work? Usually fixes that sort of thing

No, the hardware buttons froze too! Kinda made me wonder if it might actually be some hardware failure. I will just wait and see if it happens again...
Anybody else have this issue? It's as if its very sensitive too. I can barely touch the power button and my phone screen will shut off, but immediately come back on. Also if you actually press the button, the screen will shut off than come back on. Anyone else have this kind of issue?
Yeah this happened to mine just two days ago. I ended up pulling the button off entirely and using the phone without it. Super frustrating.
Power button failure is a common known issue with S3 devices. Take it back in most cases they replace the device.

I created a thread on this very issue I'm looking for a solution on disabling the hardware key but not finding any luck

Persistantly on screen the little up arrow stays over my home button so I can't use it whatsoever. Sometimes if I reboot it will go away for a short time, otherwise it's always there. I thought it may be from gravitybox but I wasn't sure. Any help would be appreciated!!

Sorry not me but hopefully the pic will help someone else

Are you using any lock screen mods? I had the issue a couple months ago but forgot how I resolved it.

Weird - even the camera icon on the bottom right is what is usually on the lockscreen (not usually in the app drawer). What mods do you have installed?
I have Notification Mod and Gravitybox

I have the exact same problem. Glad I'm not the only one who's going crazy with this thing.
I pretty much have your exact same set-up. I disabled Notification Mod last night to see if that is the problem but that damn little arrow keeps popping back up over the home button.
I have no idea how to fix this either.
Same issue... but no resolution...
Honestly it's been so long I don't remember, but somehow I fixed it! I think I red lashed my rom, removing GravityBox beforehand, and reinstalling it, only enabling things I knew I needed. Haven't had issues since. Weird issue though
Anybody else still able to remap bixby? I had no issues whatsoever with the remap! Video below ignore the poor quality I wasn't expecting it to work lol

Exactly. Or just disable all Bixby processes with Package Disabler.
The Update is a 600mb package with a lot Bugfixes and optimizing.
Can confirm still working on Verizon with all updates. Mine is currently remapped to 1-click camera.

Well I did "it" and software update 10min ago broke it lol. Button does nothing since I disabled Bigs but it won't map to anything now. Bummer. Oh well.

So I've updated and on my Verizon model I can still remap the bixby with all in one gestures

Yeah just need to reenable bixby via package disabler and restart . Button only responds to Bixby. Or disable and have a shiny useless button.
I have the T-Mobile variant so update may be different. Not really sure.

On Verizon with latest update and used All In One Gestures application to re-map the key. You can change it to any app you want.
Dont Work.

Can confirm TMobile does not work after update
Confirm that AT&T still works. No updates are breaking it yet.
Works but no update on AT&T. Only tells me one or two updates and it will stop. Currently 1 press is google now (wish I could remap to asst) and press hold is flashlight.
Woke up this morning and my remap is gone. No new update or anything. It'll work if I have the gesture app open but right when I close it, it goes back to bixby. Oh well guess ill just have a shiny useless button

what carrier???
I postponed it. It's 392.14mb... I worry only because on my Note7 I updated right out of the box and was unable to root. Anyone know anything about this AQD9 update?
All I know is it supposedly kills the ability to remap the bixby button.

I didn't have it remapped before the update but all in one gestures doesn't even show the Bixby button.

You have to add a custom keymap in the menu press the button and it fetches the hardware ID to map.
I'm on T-Mobile. I did the update and my remap no longer works.

I attempted adding the custom key and it didn't work.
Oh dang. I will skip the update then. Anyway to disable the annoying notification?
/edit: nvm, killed it with PDP.
