Hey Guys!!
I live in India, and was thinking of getting the Sensation. Play.com has it for pre-order. But before I could get it, there's this question :
In India, the electricity is 220 volts AC. So, will the charger work on this voltage ? If not, is there any other way to work around it ?
Thanks !!
maxx
You can propably buy an MicroUSB-charger outputting 1A from India if needed?
I ordered my Nexus from USA to Finland, they have 110V and we have the same 220V as you, all I needed to do is I got a plug that converted the USA plug to Finnish one.
You might also want to take a look on Nokia AC-8 charger, it is quite high quality with great output.

In addition, all HTC wall chargers I have seen, their input voltage is from 100-240. Meaning that it'll work on any voltage.
Thanks for the answers both of you

The Nexus 5 comes with the same charger.
It shouldn't be too bad to find a Nexus 5 charger
As long as the charger has an output of DC 5V, 1.2A. and an input of AC 100V– 240V, any cable that meets this minimum specification it will work.
Check this out:

It's a bit pricey but you can find something similar with EU outlet plug.

They are not designed to be used in the EU, since they have the American plug (flat), and not the rounded ones for the EU. The EU sign is "CE", the E being rounded like the C. But I wouldn't worry too much about that, any charger will do. These charger plugs, like laptop chargers, work between 100-240v, so you can use eg an American charger via a plug adaptor in the EU without problems
A charger will only supply as much current as a device requests. I have never seen my Nexus 4 pulling over c. 800mA, so any charger rated over 1.0A should be fine (for example a laptop will output 500mA, that is why it takes longer to charge from a laptop output. No harm done, just slower).
The original charger plug is rated at 1.8A fyi. Amazon do sell the original EU LG N4 charger plug, just look for it on your local site - or find one on eBay at 1/3 the price

But in your first post, you mentioned Amazon..?
Anyway, in short, any charger will do, Samsung or whatever. As I said, for something like this, you're best trying ebay.
Actually i have original nexus charger and its identical with those ones in links, i dont believe those are fake
Hey
Has anyone found where to get another super charge charger yet? or one similar?
Thanks

I've seen them for sale IN the shop. They (Huawei) also had a Facebook Xmas campaign where they gave hundreds away for free (I missed it by 1 day).

eBay. Aliexpress. Maybe Amazon?
There is nothing "similar." It HAS to be Huawei's charger and cable for SuperCharge to work.

(First Post)
just ordered 3 USB-c from ali, going to see if they supercharge.
ordered 5 Anker USB-C cables 3x3ft, 2x6ft (have 0 usb devices) and none of them supercharge. it seems only the white and purple cable will supercharge!!
anyone know where to get another charger? im in talks with Huawei about chargers but they wont sell one seperatly.
"Regarding your last questions, you could buy another supercharger, but Huawei does not sell the products and accessories directly to end-users. As such, you will have to contact local or only retailers and purchase a 4.5 V / 5 A charger that is designed for the European region and is CE certified."
which i find frustrating cos i want to supercharge but i want to have a few chargers kicking about.

They won't sell you one DIRECTLY, that's what they're saying. You need to buy from a retailer. My local Mediamarkt sells them.

although im going to germany in may, i know they have MM, so if anyone knows where to get them on the german website that would be much appreciated!
if anyone knows where to get one from in the UK that would be awesome.
Just charge it at night like I do. I leave it plugged at nights..

I would just ask Huawei for the list of authorized retailers in your country and then place an order with one of them.
For example my local Mediamarkt doesn't have them readily available but they're more than happy to place an order if I want. Same goes for the smartcover.

AM in the UK also I have asked Huawei about the charger and the response was check a retailer when i told them none of the retailers dont have any there response was we dont sell directly to customers.
Pretty poor when other OEM have chargers available
Any new information where i can buy Super Charge Charger or other compatible Charger?
I use my Nintendo Switch wall charger and car charger for my Mate 9. Both work flawlessly

The USB C to USB C cable that Google sells for the pixel works to supercharge. It worked for me with an Anker USB C PD charger that has 4 other USB A ports in it too I purchased the charger and cable to use with my chromebook pixel LS and plugged in my mate 9 on a whim... Io and behold two lightening bolts appeared and the phone charged at the crazy speeds of supercharge too!
Please give me a link to that cabels.

There's a difference between "fast charging" and "supercharge". I have a charger that will "fast charge" the M9, which still gives two lightning bolts, but it says "fast charging" rather than "supercharge". What does it say when you plug it in? I'm skeptical that it's actually supercharging. IIRC, fast charging shows two different sized lighting bolts, while supercharge shows two of the same size bolts (but my perception may have been off). My "fast charging" charger will charge the phone pretty fast, but not quite as fast as the original supercharge charger. And it seems that it does it with more heat in the phone than the supercharge charger.
I've tried going to Huawei's site hoping to find a replacement wall charger (and hopefully a car charger) but can't find squat. I have a rather large dog and he decided to destroy my wall charger while at work. Since the Honor 8 doesn't use the standard quick charge I'm up the creek and can't find a new paddle anywhere. Help please?

for the eu model: search HW-059200ehq
On ebay the Huawei P9 fast charger is the same unit.. So search or ask retailers in your location or check online..
Go on Amazon and look up Honor 8 gift box. It should come with a new cable, wall brick, Micro USB to USB C adapter, and (for some weird reason) a selfie stick. Mine was $9 and I have Prime so free 2 day shipping

Now the price is $19.99 in US. I was actually looking for the Huawei battery pack which was supposed to be the only power bank that is compatible with the Huawei fast charging tech, though.
Was wondering if there are alternative wireless chargers that work at 15w?
The official Huawei one for the Mate 20 Pro is over £50 on Amazon.

Have you seen the CEX deal on pre-used ones? https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pr...0-collection-add-150-for-delivery-cex-3210220
Alternatively, Anker makes great products and does one for 35.99:

Funny enough I on the off-chance checked CEX and saw the price. I've ordered one anyway. Just concerned it doesn't come with a plug or cable. I've got spares but I want to get the proper charging speeds from it.

My "used" one for £20 from CEX got delivered today. In the box with all parts still in protective film including the plug!
Happy days and impressed with the speed it charges at too.

Hi,
Huawei P360 Pro required 15W charger for Huawei SuperCharge.
I ordered this charger: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vinsic-Stand-15W-Wireless-QC-3-0-Wireless-Charger-with-2-Charging-Coils-Type-C-USB/32848129760.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2ef04c4d0SQTtC
I'll write here later if fast charging works.
Thankfully I have mine from my 20 pro deal. It's been in it's box since day1
I bought this one. SuperCharge for Huawei P30 Pro does not work.

When you say it doesn't work. Do you mean not at all or if charges at a standard rate
Charger doesn't work for fast charging Huawei P30 Pro (15W needed). I used the original Huawei charger, the original Huawei cable, then the cable from package.
I bought this one. http://https://mx.gearbest.com/chargers-cables/pp_009634537833.html?wid=1433363
I bought this one for £13.26. "Wireless quick charging" is displayed when using the supercharge adapter. (purchased separately)
Has anyone been able to confirm a wireless charger that actually charges at 15W?
The best I've found, I measure at approx 10W

The answer my friend is 1) The charger you buy has to be capable of Qi charging 15W or above and 2) The supply MUST come from a QC 3.0 (or above) charger adapter with a suitable capable lead attached to the base.
Smart chargers and plugs/wall warts rated at over 1A but not QC 3.0 rated will NOT give you 15W charging on your wireless pad.
I hope I explained this clearly. It is a minefield out there and sometimes it would help if manufacturers made it clearer what's required.

I have both and it does not work. It works at 15W for samsung.
When I ask the mfr, they tell me that Huawei uses a proprietary method to achieve 15W so their "Qi compatible" charger wont work at 15W.
Measuring the INPUT power to the charger, it is about 9.8W
If you have a 15W non-huawei brand charger that is working with the P30 pro, can you let me know the mfr and model number?

Many third party charging pads claim to be 'fast chargers', but 15W or above is only achievable with what I stated previously. The third parties do, mostly, say that you require a "QC 2.0+ adapter to achieve 15W charging" and most of them do NOT supply that adapter.
My understanding on the 'proprietary' thing is that it applied to earlier phones than the P30 (i.e Mate 20 and before) but the P30 and P30 Pro are fully Qi compatible. A QC 2.0 plug in adapter and a base that is fully Qi 15W or above compatible is all that is required. The offical Huawei branded one will charge any other Qi phone at 15W if the phone is capable, so it is not down to some proprietary thing unless Samsung and other manufacturers are in on the proprietary thing too which would mean it isn't proprietary.
Nilkin Charger 15W with cooling fan
I just got this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/15W-Fast-Q...Samsung-10-S10-Wireless-Charging/254321262871
I can confirm that it DRAWS 15W with a QC3.0 charger. Only 10W with my QC2.0 charger.
I also got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S6MVPVL
It only DRAWS about 10W
I am assuming the output power is close to the input power.
Im using the original one and beside its cool i dont see its purpose, its way faster to charge your phone on supercharger.
I'm using the Xiaomi 20W wireless charger which works great
