Get System UI Tuner from the play store and run the ADB commands and you can remove the logo as well las get rid of unwanted icons in your status bar such as VPN for ad blocking or the alarm icon

Yes. In the themes section of the main s8+ forum theres an overlay that removes it
I think logo prompt executed at booting sequence so i dont think you can remove at&t logo without rooting or adb shell. Most adb shell command work on rooting.

Just in case your notification bar got in your way or the lockscreen came on during a busy signal, I found the right forums for you. I just don't think you own a S3 though.

Who hates the carrier name on the lock screen? Me too,
Delete the following file and it will go away....
/system/csc/customer.xml
If you feel like figuring out which line of code generates the carrier label feel free, i didnt...lol. So I just deleted the whole file.
Enjoy
Thanks Button.

I tried this but unfortunately it didn't remove the carrier from my lockscreen. I'm in Australia and on Vodafone AU. I searched all the customer.xml files and found 1 for Australia and removed that with no success. Any ideas? I really want that carrier text to go away!

very easy mod. if i get around to testing out TWRP this week/weekend, maybe i'll post it. honestly hasn't bothered yet.
Until a proper mod is released, if you're rooted, you can edit the build.prop and change the ro.product.name to zeroflteatt. The downside is that you get AT&T's 4G LTE icon instead of whichever one you normally have, but it takes care of the buttons.
Very small "theme" (it does not do much more than removing the, imho, hideous gradient on the status bar):
Can be downloaded here :good:
I don't see it in the themes app after copying PEP.hwt to HWThemes. How should I apply it?

Thanks, I have tried clearing ram as well as reboot, but it still doesn't show up.
I have downloaded other themes such as Pureicons and Material EMUI, those themes were recognized after restarting the themes app, only your theme didn't.
For your information, my system is L29C636B170.
