Removing S Finder and Quick Connect? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I find them very annoying and space consuming. I knew how to do it with xposed but now that xposed for lollipop is not working, how else can you remove these buttons?
Thanks

very easy mod. if i get around to testing out TWRP this week/weekend, maybe i'll post it. honestly hasn't bothered yet.

Until a proper mod is released, if you're rooted, you can edit the build.prop and change the ro.product.name to zeroflteatt. The downside is that you get AT&T's 4G LTE icon instead of whichever one you normally have, but it takes care of the buttons.

I tried this but unfortunately it didn't remove the carrier from my lockscreen. I'm in Australia and on Vodafone AU. I searched all the customer.xml files and found 1 for Australia and removed that with no success. Any ideas? I really want that carrier text to go away!

I pulled a log and i think this is the problem but I don't know if it could be fixed or not...
05-12 12:16:28.858 E/AndroidRuntime(2723): java.lang.IllegalStateException: Could not find a method onClickAddButton(View) in the activity class com.lge.launcher2.Launcher for onClick handler on view class android.widget.ImageView with id 'add_button'
LG uses a lot of the the same files and features across several of their phones and then disables what doesn't work or what they dont want to work.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like an ass, just my English is not so good and you know, sometime it's hard for me to say exactly what I really want Don't take it personal.
First, I didn't searched, because I don't like live wallpapers. I saw that some guys are trying to get it to work in one of the CM14.1 threads and I just tried to help them and everyone else that want to try it.
Second, this is not a backport and I just added the libraries that the app needs to work from the Pixel system dump, packed it and signed it so it can be installed like a normal app. The app was taken from the apkmirror website if that matters
