Hi, I have a Google Maps Case and previously had a Pixel XL. I wanted to get the My Live Case working on a Galaxy S8 Plus. I can install the app but get it to activate / apply the wallpaper.
Is it possible?
I have the same issue on my Pixel 2 live case, did you manage to figure it out?

I am coming from a Note Edge to the S7e via the debunked Note 7 I was offered one of these is a bit different and was shocked to find the weather app has changed ?
I am so used the old one on my Note edge as in pic can this be ported over to this phone I have not rooted it or know anything about doing so if it can a guide would be nice ?
hope someone can help if not will stick with the Edge lol

I know that x widget offers weather widgets. Also all the different Samsung versions among them

This way there is no need to port. You can just install this

The only thing lost is the background. You can click and hold the weather + Clock widget and drag it to two rows to make it look exactly the same without the background.

I recently bought Gear S3 frontier and was going great until an update rolled out to the gear s Plugin that apparently removed support for Xiaomi mi5. Is anyone else getting the same issue and how to fix it? I really like the watch.
you are not alone they even remove away Oneplus 5
How are you using your gear? Did you download load an APK file for the previous version of the plugin?
Pixel is the same anyone know an apk download?

UPDATE
There is a new Gear S Plugin update available in PlayStore. They fixed the crashes, everything is working now.

Yeah, Samsung got their sh!t together and released a normal update to the plugin. Xiaomi mi5, no problems currently.
I'm wondering if anybody else is having issues pairing a Google Pixel 2 XL with a Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro? I have a Samsung S8+ and a Google Pixel 2 XL (work) phone that I bounce back and forth using as my daily phone. I recently signed up and are using Android P on my Pixel 2 XL. When I upgraded to Android P, the Samsung Gear app worked just fine and the Gear Fit 2 Pro worked fine too. Then, I went over to the S8+ for a few weeks (unpaired the watch from the Pixel 2 XL and paired it with the S8+). Now, when I try to go back to the Pixel 2 XL and pair the watch with the Samsung Gear app, it force closes just when the "pairing process" is taking place. It will show the 6 digit pairing number and when I hit "OK", it force closes.
Anybody else having issues with this.....or is it just me? I figured Samsung just hasn't updated their Gear app for Android P just yet?
I've been trying to pair my Gear Fit 2 since the second Android P beta. Samsung said that they won't release any support until the OS is final.
Thanks! Yes, I had to opt out of the Android P program and go back to Oreo to get my Pixel 2 XL to work again with my Gear Fit 2 Pro.
Guess I"ll just wait for the final version of Android P to come out...with Samsung's Gear app update....before upgrading to Android P again!

Unfortunately I am also experiencing the same issue with my Samsung Gear Fit 2.
I have a Google pixel 2 and also on the Android P beta program. Ever since the launch of the beta 5 I have experienced this issue. Before the beta 5 update, I had no hiccupps whatsoever with my fit 2 on Beta 3 and 4.
Since discovering the issue, I've been able sync my watch with the Gear app successfully on an LG V20 and the latest Nougat version.
I have tried several workarounds that have been successful for the same issue when other Android versions launched. However I have had no success with any previous work around as of thus far.
I also forgot to mention that I factory reset my Google pixel 2 AFTER the beta 5 update. Could that be the problem completely as the app works fine with Android P before the reset?
So a couple days ago I went into a Verizon store and was looking at smart watches when one of the reps told me that the Galaxy watch works with pixel 3 now. I guess there was an update with one UI that allows the watch to work with other Android phones. So I decided to buy it because it's a sexy watch in my opinion. At first we had trouble getting the watch to activate cellular. But after talking with tech support it works just like an apple watch now. Calls go through the phone and watch at same time with option to answer either. Notifications and emails work perfectly. The screen on this watch is very good. I was also able to get Samsung pay set up on the watch just by using the Galaxy wear app and it installing a Samsung pay plugin for the watch. I just wanted to give an update in case anyone else was thinking about this watch and pairing with pixel 3.
I am using Galaxy s3 from beginning, I mean it's support andriod and iOS out of box. One UI give more user friendly

I can't get the gear wear app to install. Not compatible in play store and when I install from apk mirror keeps freezing. I'm trying to use gear S3 watch. Worked fine on op6t. Any help appreciated
