I am coming from a Note Edge to the S7e via the debunked Note 7 I was offered one of these is a bit different and was shocked to find the weather app has changed ?
I am so used the old one on my Note edge as in pic can this be ported over to this phone I have not rooted it or know anything about doing so if it can a guide would be nice ?
hope someone can help if not will stick with the Edge lol

I know that x widget offers weather widgets. Also all the different Samsung versions among them

This way there is no need to port. You can just install this

The only thing lost is the background. You can click and hold the weather + Clock widget and drag it to two rows to make it look exactly the same without the background.

I am very new to XDA developers forum and also just three days old to Android world. i m using Samsung Galaxy 3 i 5801 Mobile. Can someone tell me how to increase the icon size?
Is there an apps to do that?
I have a Galaxy S4 mini and would like to know if there is a way to increase the size of the icons in touchwiz somehow, without using another launcher. Is there a trick?

yikes that is one old phone! its awesome to hear that some people are still using them!, well if your willing to you can use a launcher that gives you the option to change the icon size, i think Nova launcher does that. Welcome to XDA!
Here's a wallpaper that I made myself. I mimicked the Galaxy S4 wallpaper, and I'm using it now! It's really nice with transparent notification bar, and a widget! Take a look!

Saw those 2 pictures, but it is not possible. Look at the top of the promo press shots, the top where the transparent bar is darker on the right side, and lighter on the left side. Your attached pictures are not like that. My version Better represents the real version.

No Problem! You too! I cant wait to get the new camera icon on my Galaxy Note 2! Because Samsung didn't change TouchWiz, I can have my Note looking like the S4 in no time!

You can make the Galaxy S4 camera icon with icon changer free app or any other icon app.
Sups homies. Does anyone know if there is any way I can get the theme store on a non rooted Note Edge?
Not possible on an unrooted device. much less a rooted Edge. Some Edge variants just wont hook that up. ?

sad ,really wanted the avenger theme ,the dialer look so cool
weird thing is samsung display can render such UI , yet their stock always one or two color icons , sad looking dialers since mine galaxy I9000 S days , come on android and samsung its already reaching 2017 .........
Install a Note 4 rom which supports full theme store. e.g.: Dr Ketans one.
Only way to get a theme engine on an edge is by flashing a custom rom.

Only way to get a theme engine on an edge is by flashing a custom rom. Lets Say ' Dr.Ketans MM Rom'. But temember it comes with some costs n compromises. Manor one is that your Fingerprint sensor won't work with a custom Rom

Won't get official support for edge. Best you can do is look for some ports. I just install Norma ROM on my edge, not nougat but a nice change and works well.

Yes, we all are. I would have purchased a note 7 had it not had issues. Now that there is no note 7, the least Samsung could have done was give us the newer os. If you have and edge, why go to a note 5? Oh well, maybe it was a hardware issue, don't know

You can use the Sidebar lite or the Sidebar pro app from Playstore, when you like the edge screen

I wonder if it's possible to port for EXYNOS S8 variant the great Xperia Loops Live Wallpaper, below there's the link of @omikron20 who originally had it working for non Sony devices with Snapdragon CPU:

I've tested it and got it working on OnePlus 3T and HTC 10, who have Qualcomm CPU, and got only the background color gradient on S8, surely because of its different CPU architecture...

Hello, loop live wallpaper lags on my s6 edge with nougat. But all the other wallpapers I have run butter smooth. Can you please have a look into it?

Hello man first I want to thank you for your port of the loop live wallpaper. But somehow it occasionally lags on my s6 edge,but if I switch to another wallpaper the lag disappears(other times it also runs butter smooth), but all my other live wallpapers runs butter smooth, can you please take a look into it? Thanks very much.
