I was in time to remove my note 7 battery almost Swollen...
I am not able to find any new battery. Does anyone know where to find it? Or some adapteted one? Thanks
I think we might find Note 7 R 3200mAh original battery to replace the 3500 ones?
buy original genuine Samsung Galaxy S7 3000mah battery, remove Note7 charging battery chip interface from your old battery, resolder to S7 battery cell and seal/reconnect, enjoy
S7 battery wider so that's not an option. Do we think note 7fe batteries will eventually come available? Seems like only viable option.
i just opened my note 7 too. the regular s7 battery is a tab bit wider. the battery fits tight in the note 7 battery compartment. and that could cause issues. i am looking for places that sell the note fe battery. if anyone finds it please share. i will def share if i find it also.
also, does anyone know where i can find the note 7 display adhesive?

I found the model number of the Note FE battery on ifixit: it's EB-BN-935-ABA

I' still looking where buy it...
I have a Note 7 that has never been turned on. Can I turn it on and use it? I heard Samsung would send an update that would brick the phone. Appreciate any help!
Hi,
I'm bumping this thread because I thinked of something while looking for that mysterious battery.
While looking (again) for the Note FE battery spare part on ebay, I came across a battery made for the original Note 7 which's exactly the same model with the same specs but it's a third-party one.
I'm gonna have my Note 7 next week, it's a V2 Exynos ver. and I thought it could be interesting.
What do you guys think about swapping the defect OEM Samsung SDI or ALT battery by this one ? Could it be safer than the original ones ?
If you want to look at the sale, just type "Brand New Samsung Galaxy Note 7 EB-BN930ABE Replacement Battery" in the ebay search box. (Not allowed to post links cauz I'm new and I'm below 10 post)
Hi ,
I just found the link and was wondering the same thing. Is the issue fixed ? If not I would go with S7 battery

Ok so I am looking for the new battery of the Note 7 Fan Edition :
Samsung’s refurbished Galaxy Note 7, aka the Note Fan Edition, was announced last month.
Samsung-Galaxy-Note-FE-SM-N935-64Gb-Black-Onyx-Factory-Unlocked - on eBay with 3200 mAh . I would take that battery instead of the 3500 mAh replacement you found on eBay .
I will start looking for Note FE battery .

Did you find it ?
Well, I've received the battery of the Ebay sale that I've shared, it's actually a Samsung SDI battery from August 2016..
Al least, it seems it's an original. :/
no, not yet...
I found this.
They indicate the same number (eb-bn935aba) but I think it's a mistake .
I bought a note 4 battery, the size seems to match I now have to adapt the connector (welding the original cable)
I don't think Note 4 battery will fit
Note 7 battery :
37.9 mm x 97.8 mm x 4.9 mm
Note FE:
37.4 mm x 97.2 mm x ~5.0 mm
Note 4 :
Dimension (WxHxD)
41.38 x 97.8 x 5.6 mm
Note 7 battery housing is :
38.4mm * 99.2mm * 5.4mm
The best bet so far is Galaxy S7 battery or the FE. I will order a S7 battery right now

Works well so fall. One change lasts all day.

Good to hear that but unfortunately i dont have the original battery for the Note 7 :crying:
Any advice for me? I see there is a battery selling on ebay on the link shared on this thread but the seller is from Canada and i was looking for something in Europe.
I have 2 Note 7 batteries from Canada. The delivery to Germany took 5 days. The battery is not original. Capacity 2600mA. I tested the battery for a week. Not very good. Now I have the note 8 battery installed again.
Has anyone found a solution? I've got a Note7, but I got rid of the original Battery. I can't find anywhere ANY replacement batteries for the Galaxy Note FE (I've found the Galaxy Note 7's, but dates back to August 2016, so no).
I was also wondering if the Note 5's would work.

This one I have is "just" 2000 mah and is from Samsung Korea so it is expensive but it has 2000 mah.
Other non-brand batteries that claim 4000 mah, maybe not even have 2000 mah.
I bought a cheap battery and after dropping it on the floor from 1 meter it wont work anymore. A lot of cheap low quality stuff out there that promises very high capacity.
But the idea with the gold is new. hehe
where can i get that protective cover for the new extended battery???

You take any cover for i9103, better if it is a hard one.
The protective covers are bigger then the phone, because they are put over the phone, so if you remove the original phone cover and put a protective cover, you can use the bigger battery.
Can somoene tell me where in poland I can bou bigger batteries? :>
thanks!!!
now i get it.....
Do Galaxy S II and Galaxy R have same battery model and capacity. Can we use the galaxy S II battery in R
Now I am use the external battery(like 5000 mah battery) to charge my i-9103 device, the battery can charge twice up to i-9103.

Yes battery for Samsung Galaxy SII and Galaxy R battery and model, capacity are the same.
Capacity: 1650 mah

But, you should be careful about cheap copies/imitations.

There is a "quality version" of this mega battery from Mugen, it has very good reviews but it is expensive, 80$ ... Another brand with very good feedbacks is Anker, this one isn't expensive, they have a 1900mAh model very cheap and better than the original one.
I am wondering how is it possible that we hadn't advanced a single step in batteries tech for quite some time... The only choice to increase mAh is making it bigger? There isn't any way of installing a different and more eficient type?
I read frequently about this and that progress achieved in labs, but in the market there's nothing new.
I know that we'll not get nano carbon tubules any time soon but, for example, Toshiba announced some time ago some kind of methanol cells that will last weeks, this is not so NASA related technology... Maybe there are some kind of interests from the big companies buy I dont imagine what and why?

I received my EC Technology 2800mah for my S4 last week, bought from Amazon US for a very nice price of 9$ only
It's not NFC ready.
It has the same dimensions as the stock 2600mah from Samsung though with an extra 200mah and a few grams more,so yes it fits perfectly your S4 with the original battery cover.
So +200mah really make a difference?
Yes!
At least with me it lasted about half a day more than with my stock 2600mah battery.
I used Viber for about 50 mins,WIFI was ON for at least 6 hours, screen brightness was on Auto +5 (highest auto-brightness),about 30 mins of GSM calls,1 hour of Whatsapp, music in car with BT and screen half of the time ON for 1 hour...

Could you continue testing for a few more days and post back? 200 mah is a 7% increase in battery capacity and you are reporting 12 hours of additional battery life. Although this loses NFC functionality, this still sounds to good to be true, but in case it is true, I want one!
Opteka makes a 3000mAh replacement that works great. NFC support is lacking. I bought a Note 2 antennae for NFC to stick inside the battery door. NFC issue solved.

So do you actually notice a difference compared to stock battery? How much screen on time do you get on average? Also, zerolemon or opteka?
I got the Opteka because they have a two year warranty and I know them from their camera equipment. I haven't really checked the screen time. Before the battery I could get through the day if I was careful. Now it doesn't matter. YMMV
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I too have the $8.99 Opteka from Amazon. It weighs 44g, the same exact weight as the stock battery. I don't see how they can squeeze an extra 400 mAh reserve capacity without doing this (and I don't think they're capable of doing that - I'm sure this is just a relabeled core). Furthermore, my real life experience with it after a few charges shows no improvement over stock, with similar usage pattern (checked with Better Battery Stats). If anyone felt an improvement over stock, it's very possible that the stock was a dud or the usage pattern is different or it's placebo. But take this with a grain of salt - I'm not discounting anyone's experience with Opteka, it's just my own direct observation.
I already ordered a Qi receiver with NFC antenna, so I'm returning the Opteka and going to try ZeroLemon next. Might be difficult to close the battery door with the ZeroLemon and the Qi/Nfc plate, but we'll see...

I’ve been sticking with my Note 2 for years and just waiting until the Note 4 to upgrade. I came always with mixed feelings with the Note series. Loved the great display, superior hardware in the hood and S Pen, but found it was not convenient to carry. I was successfully controlled my desire not to buy a Note 3, because the improvements are minor, but for the Note 4, just regret to read those reviews on it lol.
Already fell in love with this device! Yesterday I received an email from MPJ asking me if I am willing to enter their giveaway for Note 4 extended batteries. They had sent me a free Note 2 4500mah battery for testing before and frankly Note 4 battery life is outstanding and replacement is no need for temporarily, but it definitely can't hurt to enter, so I will post my review as long as they send me a free sample.

Not only does it look ugly, you probably won't be able put on a case with bigger back cover. I would just get a 3220mAh Battery for back up.
I have the 6440mah one. The phone charges under normal use once every 3 days and the display can last over 8 hrs depending on brightness.
How are you doing this? Are you running custom rom/kernal? I have the 8k hyperion and I don't think I can get past more than 30 hours with the same amount of on screen time. I have Stock rom stock kernal rooted with amplify and greenify and almost everything turned off, and it's so frustrating hearing so many people such as yourself talk about being about to for days without charging T.T

I personally love the Note Edge. I had both phones. I had the Note 4 for about 4 months before I was able to get the Note Edge. They are the same. Almost all alike even for hardware. But yes if you want to spend a little more get the Note Edge. The Note Edge is great. I love the Edge.
I regret buying the edge...
I love the second screen and the new tech, however, NO companies have made an extended battery. I always had a zerolemon extended battery for my note 2/3 and I did not realize that there would be zero support for extended batteries for the edge
most extended batteries needs a new back or case to hold it, no one is taking risks with designing cases for so few consumers (edge owners).
Ill trade ya note edge for note 4!

Yes, the spare battery kit is a life saver. I can't believe how fast the Note Edge's battery drain.
I can't get a full day of normal usage out of it, as in a few hrs of games such as Real Racing 3, Clash of Clans, Modern Combat 4, Asphalt 8, and throw in Youtube, Whatsapp, BBM, and the occasional tinkering of the device.
I have to replace the battery when evening comes.
When I had my Note 3, I could easily get a day and a half.
But I do like it when I pull out the Note Edge and people around me gawk at me and ask what that fancy Edge screen is for.
I am in Jakarta, Indonesia and they don't sell the device here (bought mine in Singapore), and I feel very unique and special for owning the Note Edge.
I still have both phones, my wife uses the note 4.
I get very similar batter on both phones, I think the edge is missing the battery fix update that the note 4 got.
For the first week, I was preferring the feel of the note 4 a little more, but I still ended up giving it to my wife.
After using only the Note Edge for the last few months, when I use my wife's note 4 every once in a while I immediately miss my Note Edge side panel screen.
The Note Edge really has a more premium feel with the side panel.

the N915G/snapdgragon variant is more battery consuming (or so I heard) I think I got more juice out of my 915S, but I'm with you, having a device that is not all over the place is a pleasure on its own

if you wanna change the iphone to galaxy S6 then i would say go for it....but from NOTE 4 to S6 is different....if you want more battery and bigger screen stick to the NOTE 4, if you want a bit smaller phone, with better camera, better build quality, and faster then the S6....but it's a bit hard to justify the cost of the S6 if you a NOTE 4....i have a galaxy S6 and i am very happy with it, i have some minor issues with the chamfered edges color peeling, wobbly home button....but again nothing is perfect....
Thanks for the input. Be interesting to see what the overall opinion is of the forum
I would not. I would go with LG g4, which was my second option.
Here are the reasons:
- battery life far bellow average, a little bit more than 3 hours SOT. I was used to more than 5 with the Lenovo z2 pro I had before,
- horrible multitasking, apps reloading all the time
- the front facing camera has a noticeable fisheye effected, which is not really great for selfies
I would recommend your to wait for the Note 5.
Better have diversity of OS! I find having an iPhone 6 and Note 4 a perfect combination! Having 2 'phones' running TouchWiz would be pretty boring.
Great combinations: An iPod and an Android phone, an android phone and iPad, iPhone and Android tablet or both Android phone and tablet

- battery life far bellow average, a little bit more than 3 hours SOT. I was used to more than 5 with the Lenovo z2 pro I had before,
- horrible multitasking, apps reloading all the time
- the front facing camera has a noticeable fisheye effected, which is not really great for selfies
I would recommend your to wait for the Note 5.

yeah i would say if you can wait then wait for the NOTE5...
I would have a note 4 for work, and an S6 for personal. The S6 and Note 4 have equal battery life despite those arguing to the contrary, I have 5.5 hours SOT now, and had the same on the note 4. The S6 and iphone are very similar, except the S6 has better battery.
Multitasking is absolutely fine on the S6.
S6 is for persons who prefer one hand operation most of the time. Note 4 is for those who prefer to have more work done with the help of the S-pen and bigger screen. Since you already have a Note 4 and an iPhone 6 (best of both worlds) the Galaxy S6 may be a demotion on your part. Best to wait for the upcoming Note or S6 Plus.

I'm looking to buy a S6 but I already have a Note 4 do you believe as a current owner that the S6 is worthy of a purchase if you already had the Note 4? I currently have a iPhone 6 for work and a Note 4 for personal and I'm thinking of changing the iPhone, your thoughts ladies and gentlemen?

I have no experience with the Note 4 but I would buy an S6 again without hesitation. Unlike many posts from these S6 forums I have not experienced the problems that others mention. The battery easily lasts a day. With a 32GB model I'm at about 50% on storage. The processor is much faster than my S3. The display has to be seen to be believed. I have a SM-G920I. As always, YMMV!

Hm. More than 5 hours SOT? I guess this is with a lot of stuff disabled / custom ROM / brightness manually all the way down?
I regards to multitasking, in comparison to other phones with 3gb ram, it is abysmal, I thought this is a common understanding (and also my personal experience).
I would not.
I love this camera but i can't leave with this memory ram management, multitasking is horrible, hope next update solve all the problems or i will change.

NFC, location, HD calling, gmail and outlook syncing plus some other apps syncing automatically, Web browsing, YouTube and Play Music streaming, on complete stock, unrooted. I average about 24-35+ hours with 4.5 - 5+ hours SOT of battery life, depending on how long I play games. Phone also loses about 1-2% while sleeping over 5 or so hours while on WiFi. Multitasking is just fine too. Not everyone gets bad battery life on this phone and has to resort to flashing custom roms and kernels. Stock is just fine.
Edit: brightness stays on auto and ranges from 20% to 80% throughout the day.

Not for all the tea in china. The signal strength of this phone is atrocious. Lucky to get 1 bar of 4g where all my other phones get full reception.
A very varied response, now i'm more confused than ever.
I would buy it again because I came from an s4 and his thing blows it out of the water. I've heard S6 edge has a better build, but I prefer the regular S6. Also, careful when purchasing an S6 cuz you might have hardware issues like the wobbly home button, camera is blurry on startup (sometimes) and flash stays on (very small and not noticeable in the day). I say this because I had a defectve S6 before. My new S6 is perfect except my home is a tiny bit crooked but you won't notice it unless you scrutinize it. I'm you pretty sure you will miss the big screen on your note 4 if you're moving from that size. The only major flaw in the S6 is the memoruy managent when switching apps but everything else is on point.
