Don't worry about it. International unlocked version doesn't have that option. Just go ahead and flash twrp and then whatever you want.

No need to Unlock Bootloader, International Devices comes with Unlocked Bootloader. So flash twrp through odin and supersu through twrp or any custom kernel.
So make sure after you flash twrp through odin, flash supersu or custom kernel or else device will be stuck in bootloop

The title of this post : OEM unlock option missing in s6 nougat G920i(india)
@kakabakk20 that device is G920I (LATAM, Singapore, India, Australia) its not Global device... and yes its country speific!
Global device is G920F!
Look under the variants of S6 flat screen.
Versions: G9200 (Hong Kong), G9208 (China), G9208/SS (China), G9209 (China), G920A (AT&T), G920F (Global), G920FD (Pakistan, Philippines), G920I (LATAM, Singapore, India, Australia), G920S (Korea), G920T (T-Mobile)

Hi, I'm new here... I just found your answer and it's what it is happening to me... I'm stucked in bootloop after flashing twrp...
is it happening because I don't have oem unlock option?

I have a galaxy s6... android 7 official from spain PHE international version i think
when i flash twrp with odin... it says pass... the phone start but then I cant go to twrp mode... (just the normal one)
so I tried to start the recovery mode buttons and it worked.... I cloud flashed magisk and did my things....but
when i tried to flash uninstall magisk and boot system it get stucked in bootloop and I think it is releated to the first problem
could you please help with this??
I'm asking you because I saw you wrote this:

Sorry about that, but once you have flashed twrp through odin. You have to flash supersu or magisk else device will go in bootloop.
As you have installed a custom recovery, so as per what i know it wont let the boot.img to load and goes into bootloop.
So after flashing twrp in odin, the next step you need to do is flash supersu or magisk any one of these as per you choice.
Then your good to go and boot.img will be able to load and no more bootloops.

Download twrp from here https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys6.html
Better use supersu, not a big fan of magisk though.
If its not uninstalling magisk, flash boot and recovery file in odin.
So this clears magisk from system or you can do is clear cache/dalvik cache/data all these 3 options to get rid of magisk but it will reset you device but your files wont be deleted, but it will factory reset your device.

AUSTURIA DRE to not have oem unlock. device not international device is bradnded Drei 3

[Q] C-ROM locked SM-G9200

Hi, I hope somebody can help me.
I have a Chinese SM-G9200. I did the following:
- pingpong root
- installed Flashify to install TWRP (success) and it asked to reboot
but during reboot now it says "Custom binary blocked by C-ROM" in pink on the top left corner of the screen of the boot Galaxy logo, then it shuts down :crying:
I cannot have it to complete the boot sequence anymore. See the picture attached.
Also when I try recovery mode is the same pink writing and then shuts down.
Only possibility is to go in download mode, but if I try to upload with Odin, the usual screen that says:
Installation Failure
You need to unlock your device to install a custom OS.
For information about how to unlock, please refer to your device information at wwwsamsungcom/cn.
Please press the power key to restart.
Please somebody help me to get back the phone to life!!! how can I unblock it?
thanks

well... I've installed TWRP, but the touchscreen doesn't work, and also the buttons don't work in TWRP. How can I move the cursor?
I need to install the gapps...
I've installed TWRP 2.8.6.2. Is there any other version or any other recovery tool that works?
Or: is there any other way to install the gapps on this chinese S6?
Thanks for the support!!!
Ciccetti,

you need to reinstall the exact stock ROM for your mobile. You can find it for example on the sammobile website.
then install it with Odin: you can find the procedure by googling. the phone should not complain about "installing custom software", because it is the stock ROM.
once you are done, go on the galaxy store (icon on the phone) and search for C-ROM app. Install it and unlock your phone.
once done, you can reinstall TWRP with Flashify.
One hint: at the end of the flashify flashing, do not hit reboot button, otherwise the phone will only boot in TWRP and will not boot anymore into normal mode, and you have to reflash everything again.
Instead, after the flashify, do not press reboot, but hold the power button until the popup comes up and then press power off. Then after the phone is well off, keep volume up, home and power to boot into TWRP. Then you will be able to boot again into the normal phone.
Problem is: I can't get the touchscreen to work on TWRP and also the hardware buttons. How can I install the gapps?
So the stock rom should include the stock recovery so that once Odin finishes installation, it will replace TWRP recovery and the phone should be able to bypass the boot lock?

ok. found the way to install gapps using flashify.
telling flashify to install gapps through twrp doesn't require to use any button or touch in twrp. so now it is all set!!! :victory:
Do I need to locate the exact version of the stock rom in the phone? if it is a different (either older or newer) version, will it work? I ask this because I rooted the phone by pingpong root about three weeks ago and since then, Samsung has updated at least twice of their official stock rom.

download C-ROM from the Galaxy Store to unlock it from flashing custom roms
download TWRP Chinese version (the "normal" one is not responsive to touch screen), with the English translation (for example, google "SVA SM-G9200" and download G9200-TWRP-2.8.6.0-CN(0601).tar and S6_TWRP_English_theme.zip)
Copy the English theme for TWRP on the phone (extract ui.zip from archive, put it into "/sdcard/TWRP/theme/" directory)
activate the USB debug mode on the phone (google "how to ...")
Install TWRP with Odin 3.10.6 (google "how to ...")
Boot the phone in normal mode
google "Flashify apk", download it and install it
run Flashify, click install GAPPS (choose gapps 5.0), choosing the TWRP option
DONE!!! now you have a S6 dual sim with GAPPS and a working TWRP!!!

Google Play Services on G9200 CHC
Absolutely Awesome :good: You guys saved my life with this solution having almost given up on my G9200 CHC version entirely.
No matter what I tried I always kept getting the "Google Services stopped working" message, even after I had rooted the phone. Then I did the mistake of updating to latest official firmware via Samsung Switch - only made everything worse.
If you did it anyway, here's how to fix it, and get back on track so you can apply the solution provided in this thread:
1. Download the firmware version that was originally installed on the phone (in my case G9200ZCU1AOD9)
2. Boot the phone in download mode and push the original firmware via Odin 3.10.6
3. Boot the phone normally and let it get to the Samsung logo - where it will get stuck/freeze
3. Now enter recovery mode (hold down Volume Up, Power and Home until the boot logo appears)
4. now Wipe data / factory reset and Wipe cache partition, then boot your phone normally.
5. The rest was piece of cake once I found this thread
I tried a million ways to get Gapps on my phone without rooting, but none of them work, even many methods with rooting never worked for me. This one worked, and everything is running smoothly now.
Thanks everyone.......

[ROOT][SM-T53X,SM-T33X][CF-AUTO-ROOT][Simplest method to get ROOT now for 5.02-5.1.1]

Hi folks . Dear @Chainfire update your CF-Auto-Root base and now we get opportunity to have root with the simplest method ! It works now on 5.02 and 5.1.1 stock firmwares . Sorry but knox is tripped .
Now this works on SM-T530 , SM-T530NU , SM-T535 , SM-T532 , SM-T533 ,SM-T330NU , SM-T331
Complete list you can see on https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ .
HOW INSTALL :
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
All downloads contain .tar.md5 files flashable in ODIN as PDA(AP)
Make sure your device is in ODIN download mode (usually you can get there by holding VolDown+Home+Power when the device is turned off), then start the included Odin file, press the PDA(AP) button, select the .tar.md5 file, and click Start. You can find more detailed instructions and assistance at XDA.
A modified recovery and cache partition will be flashed, which will install (only) SuperSU, then clean-up the cache partition and re-flash the stock recovery.
For the root to work, the device must reboot into recovery. Most devices will do this automatically after flashing these files, but in case that does not happen, please boot into recovery manually.

You better ask @HausiX10 about this in PM .
Wow thank you for this! I successfully rooted my Tab 4 SM-T330NU using 5.1.1 on the first attempt with the files provided here. I had been trying all weekend to successful root my device using other methods and files, but for some reason they all resulted in bootloops. I kept reading through the troubleshoot forums for a solution, but nothing worked. I wish I would have found this thread sooner, it would have saved me a lot of problems!

Still working?
"You can find more detailed instructions and assistance at XDA." Mhm, I am on XDA so where are that detailed instructions? And when I finished root Unified daemon, Media memory and TouchWiz - home are stopping working. Is it normal?
I need sm-t537v please
What about the bootloader?

Hi @repey6. Thanks for the tutorial.
Do you know if I need to worry about unlocking the bootloader on my device? It's a SM-T531 (Brazil) running 4.4.2.
@Chainfire's auto-root page warns that flashing the auto-root with the bootloader locked will probably brick it, but I'm so noob that I don't even know if mine is locked or not. I can only imagine that it is, since I haven't done anything close to flashing anything on this device.

Want to unlock my bootloader + installing TWRP

Hello all,
I am receiving tomorrow my new Samsung S6 and i want to know some things.
- Unlocking bootloader (how to and link?) - have searched a bit and you need ODIN. but what is the best version etc
- Installing TWRP3.0 (how-to) - where to find the latest TWRP for samsung s6
And than one of the most important question, is there a stock android that doesent have any buys and fc's????
Bootloader is not locked on S6 (except AT&T variant)
You can get latest ODIN from here;
http://dl.sammobile.com/Odin3_v3.10.7.zip
If you want to install TWRP on it;
1- Update it to Marsmallow if you haven't
2- Install this TWRP via ODIN;
http://arter97.com/browse/S6/kernel/13.1/g920fi/arter97-recovery-g920fi-13.1-twrp_3.0.2-0.tar.md5

No, and there probably won't be any for a long time, but there are lots of TouchWiz-based custom ROMs.
so basicly i dont need any customezation? because you telling me there will not be released a custom stock rom? Even a CM13 rom
thats poor services!

Correct. The only custom ROMs availability now and the foreseeable future are based on TouchWiz, not AOSP Android or CyanogenMod.

He need dm-verity disabled boot image for working TWRP backups. That's why I suggest him to install this ZIP.
While reading topics on the internet (google)
If you THE smartphone update to 6.0 you do not need to unlock the bootloader. is this correct?
For now i will not use TWRP because there isent a proper ROM for the S6. is this because the exynoss CPU? because QSD cpu's have always the better support for CM..

As I said before, there's no bootloader unlock because bootloader is factory-unlocked on Samsung devices.
If you want root, you should to use TWRP for install the latest SuperSU.
Yes, there's no CM ROM for Exynos 7420 right now. Maybe in future? Who knows...

I'm having this issue as well on the T-Mobile variant. I have tried the unchecking auto reboot option in Odin and manually going to recovery. When I successfully flash according to Odin, I can't not get past the Recovery is not Seandroid enforcing boot.

I did figure this out, check this post for how I did it.

I have DRK and FRP error both ,how to solve it?

I flash the stock rom ,it says I need to install DRK first .It says custom binary (recovery) locked by FRP when I flash TWRP .It's a endless loop. What can I do ?How can I solve it ? I'm going crazy :crying:
I have the same issue here G920T.
I saw both of us sailing in the same boat.

[Q] Root Canadian galaxy s7

Hello i recently bought a galaxy S7 SM-G930W8 (Canadian / BELL Mobility) and its veen updated to the latest it can which is android 8.0 (oreo) and id really like to root it without havibg to change my stock rom actually id just be glad to get it rooted also the security patch is up2date as of july 1st 2018
The W8 is an exynos model so the bootloader should be unlocked, flash twrp through odin, do a factory reset, reboot to recovery from TWRP itself, flash no-dm-verity zip which should be in your memory card, if you don't have one use mtp in TWRP and copy it to the phone, then install magisk zip and you should be good to go. you can find those two zip files in the forum or just a simple good search.
Did you have any luck rooting the SM-G930W8 on 8.0? I just acquired the Canadian S7 and I'd like to root it, but I know it's different from the American S7's, and all I can find is how to root the Canadian S7 with Nougat.

It doesn't matter which carrier it is, what matters most is the chip and the bootloader, the Canadian variant uses the Exynos soc so the steps are the same just like the international model. Start by unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom recovery, download TWRP for herolte, on your phone enable developer options, then make sure OEM unlock is checked, turn off your phone and boot into Odin, then flash the TWRP image, make sure to uncheck reboot after flash in Odin. Once flashing is done, manually reboot your phone and make sure to enter the recovery mode, do a normal factory reset, the one that asks you to write YES to confirm, then reboot to recovery again, plug your phone to the computer and copy the latest magisk zip then flash it, and that should be it basically.

I thought the Canadian variant with Exynos already had an unlocked bootloader? There are already instructions on how to root my exact model, but the assumption is 7.0.
I have rooted other phones before, and sometimes the requirement for a version of Android before rooting is very specific. I have no idea where to start to even verify whether the bootloader is truly unlocked, whether or not I can proceed with rooting despite having a different Android version (in my case, 8.0, not 7.0), etc.

Sorry there, I guess the correct description would be tripping knox rather than unlocking the bootloader, since you're already familiar with the process then I can tell you its totally the same, nougat and oreo aren't different enough for anything to change, allow OEM unlock, install twrp, do a data wipe, reboot to recovery again, install magisk zip and you're good to go. You might need to flash the dm verity bypass before magisk, that's another zip you can download as well.
