Hi, I downloaded a theme from the store which is near perfect for me. However some little things would need to be changed to satisfy me. Can I do this somehow? Any way to extract the theme and edit it with a software on PC?

Yeah I know what you mean. I just want to change the color of quicksettings a little bit but cannot do it. Seems like you have to be approved from Samsung to make themes, but even then I don't know how I could change another guys theme just for myself.

Hey guys I just found this launcher (it paid app only unfortunately) but it is the smoothest launcher ever and I mean that. I have it on my phone and it really works. Talking about butter smooth performance. If you ever dreamed of your android phone being as smooth as an i-crap4s then check it out. One of the places you can find it is the market
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYzYQ6YtepU
It really is amazing how it does previews of folders and organizes the whole thing. I just can't describe it... Check the vid out and let me know what you think...
You can tilt icons ,widgets even create contacts folders (eg friends, family etc)
EDIT: forgot to mention that it much smoother (if you believe that it can be smoother) on our phone than on the vid. Vid is on a DHD...
SWEET!
Thanks for the info! I also tried it out, could only find version 1.2 its pretty amazing like you mentioned! There is absolutely ZERO lag at any time!
I have never seen a better launcher, although its lacking important features IMO:
1) scrollable widget support
2) folders in app panel/drawer (eliminate icons as their are organized and added to folders - like how go launcher does)
3) option to set gestures to bring up the sliding panels instead of pressing that oversized-button in the bottom left (option to turn it off would be nice or at least make it free floating and movable like the icons)
The rest I could live with for now I guess.
why i can't find it in the market???

you can also try searching just "shell" and it will be amongst the first 5 apps listed.

thanks, i found it!
it's really cool!!
thanks for the post!
What about it's occupancy of RAM?
I'm using SPB Shell 3D, and wanna know if TSF occupy more.
How much TSF occupy RAM, in total(including services, etc.)?
One problem...
Googles Navigation app goes missing from app list...
Dealbreaker for me as Navigator is my car GPS...
It is a very impressive and VERY expensive launcher!
Look nice, but seems expensive...Can anyone describe his feeling after using this laucher?
Awesome luncher .. ! Expensive but smooth and awesome
Gesendet von meinem LG-P920 mit Tapatalk
wow thats expensive!!!
how is memory usage?
overall usability?
waaaaaaaaa 12!?
My launcher is already butter smoth. What about functions?
i don't like it.. maybe when >20 apps fit in one folder.
i'll stick with launcher360
i like it,
ram usage is about 50mb
the launcher is very very smooth, the best ever. really. the feature i like too much is that u can put the icons in every position and orientation, the feature i like less is that you can have at max 4 home screens
i agree that it is more expensive, and i think a free version will be the right thing to do....
u can make money and much money also with a free app... and a donate version...
this is my personal opinion
i uninstall it because after reboot i've loose many icons from the home pages...
3 times i've had this problem
regards

version 1.3.2 out and it fixes disappearing icons bug plus it has an icon designer which is to say the least innovative... for the time being u can only design icon backgrounds and effects but next release they promissed lots of resources on the matter. really cool way to design icons though... easiest ever...
This is just a small app I made for friends - This is why it was only downloaded a few times.
Basically you just set up a message that get's shown when you unlock your phone or as a permanent notification.
Feel free to share your thoughts on this!

Nice concept. Works great but imo it's just a bit small.

Any suggestions?

Maybe an option to make the text font bigger, color select, and location on the screen. If that could be done I think it would be perfect app.

Good luck.
I like the idea. But it would be great if it could be set up to display the latest notes I took with keep or similar note or calendar apps. Just an idea.

This will be really hard to implement, but I'll try to after I added some other suggested options!

I don't see a reason why you would want to but if you want you can use app called shortcutter and enable immersive mode which hides status bar

I know you don't I just said it as there isn't mods that I know do that so I'm suggesting you what else similar could be.
It's a year later but I still want this. Including swipe up for status bar. Not understanding the ergonomics of a status bar on the top (other than easier to see notifications).
The ergonomics is that the navigation buttons are at the bottom. It would mix with navbar...

Still would be fine just losing the navigation bar when reading notifications or using the quick settings. I don't see a fault in that at all. I mean, when would you need your navigation bar when checking notifications shade or quick settings?

Title... See, my problem is that I cannot find a good Android O theme. So I am now using [MINU] White Edition which isn't perfect but better than most others. What really bothers me (and there is no ****ing way to edit themes apparently) is that it turns the lockscreen clock and writing from white into grey, which looks awful.
So I cannot change that. But I do not really need the lockscreen on the other hand... so is there any way to disable it?

yes under settings lockscreen
Yes just have screen unlock method turned to none. But when you do this the AOD will not show you any notifications as they are pushed to the lock screen

Thank you. Very useful thread! I tried it and it works on my S8+.
You probably can edit the theme, just not with built in settings. I've seen plenty of threads in the past about editing themes, or creating your own. Most likely involves a PC and time. Just search for it.

And it's easy enough to turn back on when needed. I keep mine off most of the time...

But if you edit a theme on PC, without root you can only use it as a trial for 10 minutes

Did not know that. Haven't done it myself, but that's just sounds crappy. The nav bar is almost always white on my black theme so I know where ur coming from. Just sucks they limit that.
Android themes are changing now a days. They have been over the last couple of years. One theme would change how home screens, settings, systemui, qs tiles, navbar etc looked. These days are advance things. Until Android gets system-wide range theming.. Here are the best Android themes.
Dark theme has many benefits:
Can reduce power usage by a significant amount
Improves visibility for users with low vision and those who are sensitive to bright light.
Makes it easier for anyone to use a device in a low-light environment.

I am using paid beta version of the theme and Google Clock, Docs & Sheets are also not themed. Installed but still white, background. Google Clock just goes to standard night mode when selecting in settings.
what is the forum for? Quick settings are not themed either
