Hello,
I know it's a very specific problem but maybe other users here have experienced the same and could help me.
I have 2 Samsung wireless speakers, R6 and R7. We handle them with the Samsung Wireless Multi-room app and it works fine with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S.
But with my S8+, the music automatically stops/pauses after 5-6 minutes, when the screen is off.
I tried to:
- Turn off completely the Power Saving mode
- Add the app in the exception of the Power Saving mode
- I tried in Air plane mode
- I tried to disable all notifications thinking that it's when a new notification arrives that the music stops
Nothing works...
I know that there is a known Wifi problem, do you think it could be related?
Thanks in advance,
Ced
A quick message just to tell that the problem seems to be fixed since the latest update of the "Samsung Wireless Multi-room" app.

Hi, I just can't seem to find a fix for this anywhere. When I receive a message my screen automatically powers on even if the device is in stand by in my pocket. Has anybody figured out a fix for this without turning off notifications completely? Thanks in advance.
This is for Galaxy 3 not for Galaxy S3 ...
Hi all,
I've had my S2 classic since January but since the latest update introducing auto brightness thing and flight mode, vibrations have stopped working. If I switch off and back on again it's fine and works as it should but I'm assuming since I put it on charge the vibrations stopped again, though again a reboot sorts it.
While it's easy to sort it is pretty annoying to have to do it every day just wondering if anyone else has the same issue and how I can fix it hopefully without having to factory reset it?
Hi,
I think I just got the same issue today with my Gear S2 classic, latest update. It didn't vibrate despite an active notification. Still have to check if it works after reboot.
I had my pre-owned SAMSUNG Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915G)
running on Android OS 5.1.1 for almost a year.
The phablet was doing fine all along, until recently...
when the new OTA update Android 6.0.1 was made available
in my region my phablet start to show signs of malfunction
especially to the edge screen.
The edge screen's briefing panel always jam
& unable to load up whenever after a rebooting
of my phablet. The only lame-man method that I know
to solve my problem temporary, is to uncheck the panel...
confirm the setting & go back to re-check the panel...
re-confirm the setting again.
Anyone knows how to fix this problem permanently?
I've even tried full reset via [Vol. Up] + [Home] + [Power],
but it still didn't solve the problem.
Also, the update has been draining the battery like crazy.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using XDA-Developers mobile app
I just haven't got time to downgrade the OS that's all
to see if it's the OS fault or not.
But funny... my the other Note Edge didn't have such issue.

Last night I was watching a movie on Netlix on my Galaxy S8 Plus and suddenly the movie pauses and I can't use my phone whatsoever. The power button to restart the device wasn't even working nor the home button screen. The only thing that I could do was let the battery die and recharge it. It seems to be working just fine now, but don't want this problem in the future.
Has anyone had a similar problem and has a solution? Could it be the Netflix app itself locking my phone? Any responses would be helpful. Thanks.
If you're rooted Netflix no longer works.
