So I downloaded an app called "Quick Reboot [ROOT]", and I selected the "fastboot mode" option.
I restarted my device thinking it would go to fastboot mode, but it's stuck at "Starting RSD mode 3".
My computer doesn't recognize the device and pressing volume up + power only makes the Xoom get stuck at the red M logo with no text.
I'm a novice and I'm not sure what to do, any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.
Go to fastboot or recovery by pressing vol down 3 sec`s after u see the Motorola Logo.
delete cache and try booting up again.

Hi,
My xoom MZ600 (3G UDMA) does not boot after ICS OTA.
ICS hangs on tiles animation. Shows flying tiles looping forever.
Debug mode is off and xoom is not rooted.
Driver does not install in XP because xoom does not boot. It stalls with the message 'Installing PCM', so I can't use adb. Fastboot command shows a 'waiting for device' message
I did a wipe reset and erased cache from recovery I tried to install Team eos with a usb drive from recovery mode but I get errors.
I'm stuck...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
When the message waiting for devices appears, press power and vol up.
Once moto logo appears, press vol down, this should hold for 20 seconds, and your fast boot commands should go thru.

thank you wesamothman,
I know how to enter fastboot.
Once in fasbood mode what should I do?
I tried to boot from usb but I get errors.
Thanks again!
My TF300 always got stuck on "booting recovery kernel image" when I trying to get into fastboot, and no the 3 options "wipe date" "usb" "android cold-boot". and if i dont hold down the volume down button during reboot. it sits on "the device is unlocked" and the Asus logo. And I can't get into APX mode either, no "beep" sound or anything other than "the device is unlocked" and the Asus logo screen. Is there an adb way to push files and get this puppy running again.
Here's what happened: I was on Baked Rom Ver. 3, and dont know why I couldn't boot into recovery, and I flashed the recovery on fastboot, makes no differences, and then I accidentally hit and chose the "wipe data" option (under the fastboot 3 options).....

I'm having the same issue.
Hi guys,
my Mate 9 is stuck at the black screen after the Huawei logo screen with the "Your device is booting now..." text. I can't get into recovery mode or fastboot mode. Is there any way to get out of this situation?
Here is what has happened:
I wanted to root my Mate 9 so I first unlocked the bootloader and flashed the TWRP recovery.
But after flashing the recovery I couldn't get into the recovery. When I pressed the button combination the phone was always stuck at the screen with the "Your device is booting now..." text. But when I booted the phone normally without pressing any button it would boot just fine past the screen.
So I thought I should try to relock and unlock the bootloader and install the recovery again.
When relocking and rebooting the phone it went to the Huawei Updater mode or eRecovery mode, I don't know which one. It wanted to reinstall the firmware or something. But that failed so I thought maybe I should flash the stock recovery so that it can install the stock firmware.
Then I unlocked the bootloader again and the phone reboots automatically and wants to factory reset the system but it gets stuck at the black screen with the "booting now" text.
Now I can't do anything. It doesn't boot normally, can't get into fastboot or recovery mode. Can't do anything, basically.
Is there a way to save it or am I game over now?

Booting to recovery (TWRP) using power + volume up with USB plugged in goes to eRecovery.
Power + volume down is fastboot, regardless if you have USB plugged in.
This mode should always work.
Power + volume up and down goes to the auto update screen.

Wow, I just wanted to say that no combination works but somehow it went into bootloader mode.
I tried the power + vol down or vol down + plug in usb but that didn't work. Now I pressed vol down + power and plugged in and plugged out the usb cable repeatedly. Maybe it worked because the battery was empty, i don't know.
I had a root Huawei and have now managed to have gotten it exchanged and will not be rooting this device for a while. While I miss out on rooted apps the speed and performance of this device for me outweighs having root access.
please help me guys:
i flashed official android 8 and updated it to last security update and restarted then i hit the volume up button accidentally and a screen says "install system update" shows up and after it another one says "no command" and then it enters recovery mode and i can't reboot from recovery because my power button is broken
please does anyone can help me?
I haven't tried it personally but in recovery mode ADB is enabled for sideload, try the adb reboot command from your PC. or just wait for the battery to go down and the phone will shutdown ( wondering how you'll turn it on after  )
Please if someone could help,
my phone is stuck in the op logo and it doesn't matter what i press i won't turn off. it happened right after i tried to fastboot boot a twrp img.
more specific this one .twrp-3.2.1-x_blu_spark_v8.61-op5_op5t...
i was already rooted with magisk v20. then i tried to go into recovery to install new kernel. but then it went to regular recovery instead of twrp. then i tried to fastboot into the img. and that happened. please what to do?
Hold power + Volume up -> It wil restart the machine -> Enter fastboot
thank you.
