I've been thinking about our forum and trying to think of ways to make it more useful for both our users and for people building our ROMs unofficially. Most users are used to looking in the device forums for ROMs to flash, and some of our maintainers prefer to keep threads there. Maybe we should put more emphasis on helping with building questions here than we currently are? XDA is about helping developers learn, after all. I'm also thinking about a thread here for unofficial builders to link their threads on. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? ???

The Samsung Admire (SCH-720R)(Metro PCS) community is in desperate need of CWM, Custom Kernel and ROM for this great phone. We need any willing developer to pitch in on this. I know nothing about code, but I am willing to test new projects.
We were able to obtain root which allowed us to remove bloatware from the hpone allowing it to run smoother. But we all know that it is not enough to have this phone running to its maximum potential.
If you are interested and willing to help us out, please feel free to contact me through here or by sending me a PM.
Thank you in advance for all your work and dedication.

I seriously looked around in the forums and have seen a lot of nice looking roms with an overlock kernel, however I really do like the stock rom on my phone and for some reason I am just not seeing strictly overclocking kernels. I am rooted and have my bootloader unlocked with CWM recovery installed. Can someone please post me a link of give me some names for overlocking kernels? I am on Verizon SCH-I535 version. Thank You!

You need to post all questions in the Q&A section of these forums. http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=256
As far as I can tell the custom kernels are all tied into the ROMs themselves. Synergy's kernel allows OC.Please read the rules or think carefully before posting. If unsure just hit up the rules or go to General. Development is the last place you should be posting.

Slow and calm yourself down. I had apologized WAY before you made your comment.

I was simply just not paying attention and had apologized in another thread I accidently made. I appreciate the feedback..
Hi guys. What are everyone's opinions as to the most stable and fully working ROM available for the N7100?

First, you just posted in the wrong section.
Second, for "most stable" and "fully working", just keep using stock ROM. This whole forum is not for you.
I apologise. I thought I did

People don't take kindly to new users who ask that same question, over and over again, and no you didn't post a question in the right section.
Re-read the sub forums under the main forum, there you'll find the appropiate place.
I too learned the hard way on XDA ... you're expected to spend time learning about how things work here. Do that and you'll get great responses to your thoughtful questions. Good luck.

I too learned the hard way on XDA ... -------> same here :fingers-crossed:
Besides, you cant tell this one or that one... you can make a poll of the most used roms but even that wont tell you which one is the best since it's all about which one suits you.
For example, i dont like TW so i went for an AOSP based rom, LiquidSmooth in the case.
But you lose some of the note 2 unique features that maybe others use.
So this kind of questions are useless...
no need to comment here, first the OP's question is invalid, there is no Best rom, it's a matter of choice that suites your need/taste
thread reported. cheers

Hey OnePlus users! I wish I could put this in the development category, but I can't yet. I just have one thing I want to have: all working alternative ROMs. I'm talking no Cm, Slim or AOSP based, things like MIUI, SailfishOS, FlymeOS, or even obscure things like Ubuntu-Touch. Thank you, I appreciate all your help!

1. This wouldn't belong in 'Development' even if you could post there.
2. First rule of XDA - Search. It's not difficult to search the ROMs and find what you're after.

As the previous member already stated, this wouldn't go in the development section anyway. Only actual development (ROMs, kernels, hacks, exploits) should ever be posted in the development section. So please never post a question there.
You'll find all ROMs for this device in our development sections, and some in our general section. I also have an index thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2843675
So it's up to you to go and find them for yourself, it isn't up to anyone else to list them here for you.
