Froyo and google chrome

I remember seeing that with FROYO we could link to Google Chrome and auto transfer files from the PC to our phone wireless over WIFI. Has anyone got this to work?

yup, you need to install the app on the phone and the extension onto google chrome browser

Mine only opens the map but doesn't pin to the sent location?

i made it easy and all in 1 page for people to get at rather then bunch of pages.

I didn't find the directions too difficult to follow...though they didn't really make it very clear that the apk needs to be registered first.
However, even though I register the app on my phone with my email address, my computer still says unregistered. Any ideas? I'm using google apps with a custom domain. It took my login, it just said it was unregistered...

Good guide EkostonS. I got it working. But uhm what's the purpose for this chrome-phone extension? It just opens up the link on the phone? Perhaps I am missing the bigger picture, haha.

did u click the link in the guide to login on your computer? step 4 or 5? cant remember not looking at the guide at this time.
you must login to that for this to recognize to send.
and the point is to send things from your comp to your phone.
such as, MAPS, LINKS, VIDEOS
watching youtube video and ur leaving? send to your phone.
want to bookmark a site on your phone ur viewing on ur pc? send to your phone
and one of my fav's
want to download a cd torrent on your phone? download a torrent app on your phone, send the link from pc to phone and download !

you forgot the mention the signing in on chrome. tttons of people were having problems including me, not being able to send the link to phone due to server error cause you werent signed in on chrome.
and im pretty dizzy now from watching the video LOL

So, now the Galaxy Tab is running 2.3.4 also.

and I can get screen caps from sever browsers stating otherwise and a long list of people who also say it does not work so ya... feel free to post a video though showing that its working and what you did to back your instructions.

where did I call you a liar? I said that it wasnt working and that a lot of other people were having issues so to put pictures to back your instruction so we can see where some of us could be doing it wrong... sheesh talk about over reacting a tad.... for example maybe Im doing a step wrong so by adding pictures we get confirmation of what we are doing, so like this step "Open browser, change ua to linux desktop, mac desktop or IE6" could you expand on this a bit more?
okay the only ua string options I see is
Android - Doesnt work get message that I need to update Adobe Flash
Desktop - Doesnt work get the same message
iPhone - Does work but so far every tv show, movie, clip, or trailer I click say The video is not available on the iPhone
so ya if you can go over the string part and let us know which your using that would be appreciated.

Well, it does,
just takes the ability to know that you have to complete all the steps listed in any instructions for anything to work.
a correct way to say it, would have been something like:
"I tired your apk, and here is a pic of the error, ( insert pick here)
I see that your on such and such rom, does it only work for that style of rom, or did I do something wrong?"
Well something, somewhere around something like that.

Now,
open your stock browser
Press menu
Go to setings
(Some stock browsers make you got into Advanced settings to see next option, some don't)
Select user agent
If your browser doesn't offer this option, you fail a step and the logical next step is to get a browser/rom that has that option.

so then what browser are you using then and what string are you using, obviously it would make sense to post your exact settings if its working for you. if your running a custom string then alright Dolphin HD lets us use custom so again like you said providing more information helps and works both ways.

[MOD] Spotify tablet mode

Good evening!
If you're reading this, then you for sure know what Spotify is. We all love listening to music and, ugh, that's the synonym of Spotify!
Unfortunately, this work could be used for two fully opposite reasons, one of which is against the XDA rules, so I had no other choice but to close this thread (and remove links). I hope you understand me and sorry for the inconvenience.

Time ago, the app landed on our lovely Android platform for both tablets and phones and honestly who wasn't excited?
Soon after, forced shuffle mode and limited number of skips were also introduced and I agree that there must be a reason to purchase Premium after all. Luckily, this restriction was not enabled on tablets, but a problem that appears is that far from all tablets are detected as ones - mainly the "smaller" ones. This [bug/miss-code] activates the restriction on your tablet, and as a fix was needed from either side, here was my solution.
This mod was created for all those "small tablets" that are incorrectly recognized so that you can use Spotify the way it was meant to be used.

MEGA is never down, it only needs the app for android if you want to download from phone. That's the reason I personally won't mirror.
About installing, you need to have "Unknown sources" enabled in your Security settings. Then just open the APK and install it as normal. If you still can't figure it out check YouTube for thousands of tutorials.

I've downloaded the apk for mega, and also tried to access the website. But it refuses to open the website or allow me to login to the app. Hence the servers are actually down. Op if possible can u post it on a different cloud?. Thank you for this amazingly brilliant apk!

Op u can as well check again, it's no longer a news that mega is down for now. You see people testifying. You can check up urself

@ViRb3 It doesn't work on gingerbread android again...
I think it's a problem of apk version because on Google play it was written that the version varies with device.
So please If you give me your email, I'll send the last apk version of spotify compatible with gingerbread to you.

OP I could possibly kiss you all day and it wouldn't be enough. Worked like a charm.
Also the server seemed to be down only in parts around the world. So anyone being unable to connect simply use a VPN. Works perfectly with a VPN.
Though it is currently up again.

Absolutely not. I am not "hacking" Spotify and making it Premium-free and that will never be my aim. I am just making it possible to run in tablet mode on smaller tables.

Yeah but apparently another guy picked up development. I'm not sure who it is but good on them for picking it up. It's nice to have video downloads again

Yes I realized shortly after. I'll gladly take background/download over full screen.

Wut? So you have to remove youtube? Lol.
Try videoder, its the best out there. You can directly download from yourube using share button. You can download 4k 60fps videos unlike tubemate etc. And also facebook videos, just click copy link, and you get a nice pop up for download

I loved OGYoutube and used till yesterday when I found the IYTBP app which is simpler and cleaner and updated. But it doesn't have features that og has such as swipe to change volume and skip forward or backward and also have a floating window.. And downloading capabilities (though I didn't really use that as TubeMate downloads are much faster because of acceleration). So OGYoutube isn't useless. Btw just a note, microg of one program needs to be uninstalled fro the new one to work. You need to search within you system apps to uninstall as it doesn't show up in apps.

Ogyoutube sometimes lags phone and causes problems later. I used it for yeqrs and have found snaptube to be much better and reliable

Any joy with this yet mate? I've had a look and can't find the Elements Analog available for our Huawei Watch 2 Sport but I did find this:

Ultimate Watch 2 has lots of settings. I got the premium too within app on phone, $1. It's my top layer face, with others showing under & other apps on and linked around it. I try different faces every day though other than UW2

So, just to be a pain in the arse, has anyone got any idea where I can lay my hands on the below watch face please? Image is taken from Wear OS app and lots of reviews show this face on the Huawei Watch 2 Sport but also the GT.
Has it been pulled on an update maybe?

Has anyone managed to obtain this clock face. as it does seem the newer 4g versions dont have it, although its all over their media. Id like this face too and update on obtaining it would be great.
Can it be installed as a standard clock face by dragging it on the watch disk at all.

I just bought a LEO-DLXX last month and the clock face comes standard. The bottom of the box does say 05/2019, but I'm not sure if that is the manufacture date. Also, there are two ways to install a watch face:
1) Installing through an app, such as WatchMaker, from your phone
2) Manually install via ADB but the watch face has to be an apk file
The watch face you're looking for you can be found on FacePro. You would have to download the watch face on your phone, then install WatchMaker on your phone, and use the app to import the watch face and install it on your watch.
I also made a pull of the stock watch faces stored in /system/priv-app/HwWatchface on my watch. You would install it via ADB with the following command:
