24.04.2017 / Initial Relase
Bugs
You tell me...
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
Jk. Flash Rom, after it newest Gapps. Let it boot.

Why he should? We already have a Lineage build!

Incredible! I'm downloading.
Thank you for another great ROM for mi mix. Appreciate the work!
Everything is working so far except the speaker phone echo issue. Does this build has the echo fix incorporated?
Sent from my MI Mix using Tapatalk
I'll update device tree soon. Working out brightness regulation. If that is working like I expect i'll provide changes to secXces_debaki.

The AICP build is based on my device tree. The Lineage build he has made once, too.
I'm not having a problem with the speaker phone, no echo. Try it again.

Like @pappschlumpf wrote, when he update his tree it's fixed.. It's based on 13.4 device tree without echo fix, no auto brightness fix and no d2tw fix.
Nice rom keep up the good work :good:
I will not update aicp in any way, if anyone want to build aicp for himself or for xda he can write me i will help out to get that build.
Aicp is full of bugs, slow as hell and nearly 1 time per hour u get any strange error. I didnt update it because after that build everything was not so good like this build.
I will build something own for now on.

Pure Nexus is actually my daily driver rom on my xt1575, but i am on the 0802 (6.0.1) build because the 1023 (7.0) build will not boot.
@thebaconbox CyanogenMod 14.1 is 7.1
Curious with the new roms is there still issues of sending SMS with Google voice via Hangouts. Due to looking for a sim card which currently I don't have a plan.

You do realize your download CM14 link (http://www.cyanogenmods.org/) is not the official CM website and contains a link to an old (Nov 10) build of CM14? Why not link directly to HashBang's AFH since that's where people are getting the ROM anyway? https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=profile&uid=95897840722645866

Not as stable as CM14.1 by the same dev. AICP reboots your device on a regular basis for not apparent reason whereas CM appears to be pretty stable.

Just changed it now. Thanks for telling me!
There is a DU 11.0 test build on AFH now. Flashed it and runs great. Has issues with speakerphone, but otherwise, seems great. Can't speak on AUX issues as of right now.

I'm also using it. I'm sticking with this for my daily driver. I went back on the site and I think it's taken down. DU devs don't like people posting without permission.

Yeah, I saw that it had been removed. Glad I grabbed a copy lol. Hopefully they will release it officially, soon. Love me some DU. I've switched over to the latest Tesla unofficial though. Love it. Only issue I've found so far is AUX in car. Speakerphone even works! Plus it has full substratum support. Pretty BA ROM overall.
I'm having issues on the last few Tesla unofficial builds. Screen goes off and I can't wake the device and have to do a forced restart. Don't know if anyone else have this problem. As for the rest aicp and cm 14.1 seem to be the same although I'm using aicp cuz of the regular updates and it seems more well built. tried a few others that I found on AFH but they all seem to have some bug that's a deal breaker for me. Aicp is the best I've tried but all of them seem to have camera issues

I actually think the dead screen issue has been fixed in latest unofficial build of Tesla. How I fixed the issue before though, was to change the governor of the kernel to ondemand.

Buddy if they keep going like cm was mantained, i don't think ineage13 official will see any builds.
You can build UNOFFICIALs whit integrated su.
export WITH_SU=true
It will build the zip whit the new supersu addon from lineage team, or at least it should, don't know if this work on lineage13 too.
Xposed addicted i suppose ?

I know about that. But as far as I know, this su solution is quite similar to the cm-su one. However, I don't like that su solution at all and prefer SuperSu by @Chainfire.
Im curious, is there a difference if lineage would compile these builds and you do? I mean, its the same sourse, why would there be any bugs? Also, have you thought about contacting Lineage to make your builds official instead?

I also don't see any difference.
I haven't contacted them and I also don't plan to do so. I guess the solution of distribution via androidfilehost is totally sufficient.

In principle yes, however not all of them are thea specific. There are a lot of device specific commits due to the fact that other devices have active maintainers. This is not the case for thea and thus only the general lineage code changes affect the builds.
Gesendet von meinem Moto G 2014 LTE mit Tapatalk
Truth be told there is no need for Thea specific changes, since it was stable enough as CM13. Think of updates as security related or some minor corrections. Lineage already ditched MM support going for Nougat instead, just look at the changelog in cmxlog. Pretty small for a few months.

nichcream is one of the best developer and ROM is built on his device sources.
Difr is one of the best in optimizing kernel for our device.
So basically you will get better experience based on above two points alone .. rest is your decision.
Feature wise it isn't a modded version of CrDroid so feature wise both OFFICIAL and UNOFFICIAL are identical.

I know. Sadly it doesn't. He never published the code. I also asked in his thread for him to make it available.
For the time I fear there's no obvious solution.

I saw that you posted a new build, did it come with the fix on the ril? Can someone tell me? I really want to use a rom with oreo.

I fear not. Sadly our original maintainers never answered me. Thus I am not sure if we're going to see a fully working oreo ROM for thea...

Well done! It seems like you finally got a bootable build. And you synced the latest security patches too. Thanks for continuing our work because I can no longer develop for this device because I sold it and I no longer have time to do it because of the pressure of late senior high school. I hope LuK answers and you get a working RIL someday, or perhaps you can even port Pie.
If you check Titan device trees you will notice that there are only minor differences between the files so you could try and port Pie as a more advanced project...you can borrow most shims from Titan but wouldn't be too stable.
@Eddy Stark @mallorca @Mauro.coupe @Wattsensi I tried a different approach. Could you test the following build for working RIL, please:

I am abroad. Will return Thursday and immediately test it. Thanks for not giving up!
I tested the last test really very fluid, but ril is not working on it
It would be nice if luk provides correction driver, its rom has good memory utilization different from the rom that works the ril more that consumes a lot of memory and still does not have the latest lineage news like trust, Focus you will get...
I am not speak inglish .... Its From Google traductor

In the title it says 'Potter'. Might be for a different device. Moreover the size of the file is very different from the previous test. Can you please check that, gothicVI?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm slowly running out of ideas...
Anyone with a hint?

Unfortunately I am no developer and neither an expert on ROMs, I just use them. The only idea I can think of is to use the RILs of the XT1078, as they seem to be close in their hardware. How you could do that however, I do not know ...
