Hi, I haven't touched my OPO in a while after switching to a new phone almost two years ago. I know some stuff happened with the cyanogenmod development but I was wondering if I just want to update my phone to a good stable verson, stock or really stable what should I do? I updated the phone myself before using TWRP and now it is on 12.1YOG4PAS1N0.
The current kernel version is 3.4.67-cyanogenmod-g223b093
[email protected] #1 Sat Aug14 17"14:02 PDT 2015
build number LMY48B.
Can I just directly follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-return-opo-to-100-stock-t2826541?
Will this brick my phone? Sorry it has been a while and I have seem to have forgotten the basics of messing with android phones.

You want to update to nougat?
Hi Mr.Ak, I followed the guide flashed the factory image but I didn't reset the tamper bit / lock the phone. So Nougat would be lineageOS? What's the general consensus of going to nougat? Can the OPO run it well? Thank you very much.

That "tamper bit lock" doesn't matter much. Yes,OPO runs lineage os even better than stock Cos13.1,in fact it can run anything you throw at it.

Hello everybody, new user here.
I'm somewhat familiar with the root process for devices, though I still consider myself a noob. I bought the phone when i first came out and there wasn't simple root out at the time, so i waited some time and mostly just forgot about it when i had the time to do it. Of course the noob in me, decided to keep updating my device in the mean time. Well, this morning i had decided to look into it again again and, from what I've read, there doesn't seem to be a working root out for the device at the moment. Build 3 eliminated to ability to downgrade from Oreo, if I am not mistaken, and I'm currently stuck on the latest update from AT&T.
My Software information is as follow; Android Oreo 8.0.0, Samsung Experience 9.0, Build Number R16NW.G955USQS3CRE2, KNOX 3.0, Kernel Version 4.4.78, and Security Patch Level May 1st, 2018(AT&T).
Ive been looking around for a little while now, but if anyone has some information to help out thatd be great.

Download and run this app ,it will give you a string of numbers start that start with 15 or 11
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298935345
If the first two numbers are 15, you can have root and be running up to date custom ROM in an hour. If the first two numbers are 11 you can still do some cool customising but no root or custom ROMs , for the most part anyway.
Anyway download and run the app from link above / then you can start here if you want to keep going. Good luck

You can get root it's just going to require more effort and the use of a PC. Go to the following link and scroll down to the directions for the S5 that starts with 11... ignore the fact that it says Toshiba.

Hey guys,
So after browsing around the forum and reading what seemed like it may be applicable, I am running into a bit of a brick wall.
I would like to upgrade my Galaxy Tab 4 to something better then android 5. However, all the roms i find do not state my model. Needless to say, im hesitant to try one without knowing if my device will work.
My tablet is as follows:
Galaxy Tab 4, 8.0"
Model: SM-T330NU
Android Version: 5.1.1
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-5306775
[email protected] #1
Build Number: LMY47X.T330NUUES1BPL1
Is there a version of Android 7 or 8 that will work on my device? If so, can you point me in the right direction?
Sorry if this was addressed somewhere else and i just didn't see it, but most of the models i was seeing were 2XX or 5XX or 3XX's that were not mine.
Thanks,
Phil

Thanks for your post. I "inherited" the same tablet from my wife and have been searching as have you. I rooted my tablet but that's as far as I have been able to get. I have seen SM-T330 builds but not SM-T330NU I searched to find out what the difference is between these two models and really never got an adequate answer. All I know is that the build for the 330 will not work on the 330NU unless I am mistaken.
Hmmm the lack of any response is starting to worry me. =( looking like i may need to buy a new tablet.....?

I too have the same Tablet. When trying to update it tells me that "The latest Updates have already been installed."
I would really like to get this Tablet a little faster. It seems to lag quite a bit.
Try my rom It work on the SM-T330, SM-T330NU, SM-T335, SM-T337T(milletltetmo) & SM-T331

I just flashed this ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/samsung-galaxy-tab-4-light-project-t3877643) on my rooted SM-T330NU and it is working fine so far. I am using Philztouch recovery and would like to use TWRP if anyone knows a version that works with the T330-NU.

Try this version.
PS: it did not work for me, But may work for you if not Search XDA or Google with term (SM-T330NU TWRP). https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=49346
If you ever need a custom ROM, custom Recovery, etc... just type into google the device codename followed by what your looking for, EXP SM-T330NU Custom ROMs, SM-T330NU Stock ROM, SM-T330NU Custom Recoverys, SM-T330NU Root, SM-T330NU Custom Kernels, etc...
Still active development I follow telegram https://t.me/Galaxy_Tab_4
Hello dear XDA forum friends, I have one question, I was Apple user for a long time and I got Galaxy s10e.
Its a nice phone but it dont work well on Android 11, battery drain fast, phone is to hot and more and more..
I was wondering if I can downgrade it back to 9 or at least 10?
Long time ago I remember I used to flash custom ROMS and downgrade old Android phones but looks like now if they lock Bootloader you stack where you are.
So here are some infos:
One UI Version 3.1
Android 11
Baseband Version G970FXXSBFUE6
Kernel Version 4.14.113-21644994
Build number RP1A.200720.012.G970FXXSBFUF3
Knox 3.7 API level 33 TIMA 4.1.0 DualDAR 1.3.0
Service provider software version SAOMC_SM-970F_ODX_CRO_RR_0008 CRO/DHR,CRO/CRO
Welcome to XDA
Congratulations on ditching the sour Apple.
Post on that device's forum for best results.
The firmware you have probably also upgraded the boot loader version which may make it impossible to down grade. I'm have zero experience flashing these so I may be mistaken or a workaround.
Try a factory reset unless you already have after the upgrade or if you used SmartSwitch to transfer data from another model.
I've tried to downgrade even an Exynos phone- sadly Odin couldn't do it due to bootloader
Nope, the last update that would have allowed you to downgrade to Android 10 came out back in February
Hello everyone,
I have a Moto G7+ as my main phone, and the last OS version it received was Android 10.
I know that it's possible to install customs ROMs or some things like that (sorry, I don't know to much about that area).
So I was wondering if I can install the most recent Android version in this device even it's not supported. If so, can it causes me some performance problems, like a slower phone?
Thanks in advance for any help

Look into Lineage OS. I have a Moto G4 with Lineage installed and it gets fresh OTA updates each week if I want them. It's quite old, I know, but it still receives current security updates. Lineage OS is a pretty vanilla Android ROM, and if there's a Lineage ROM for your phone,it should work without issue.
