Progress Charging Screen stays lit after charging. - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hi Everyone,
I am really enjoying this phone after a couple of days but do have one issue.
I normally charge the phone at night. The first night I charged it and the next morning saw that the progress screen ( the blue screen that comes on when you charge) was on. Of course the phone was very warm as well. I am not sure if there is a setting that I missed somehow.
This morning I watched the charging process as I still had a good amount of battery left. Always on Display is enabled as well. the phone got charged and then the Blue Screen popped up. It then started to dim and it did go black but some ad popped up on the blue screen and it came on again at the normal intensity.
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks in advance

[Q] Screen Issues (Black, Pink Pixel)

Hi everyone,
I've spent the better part of an hour looking for answers for my problem, but to no avail.
Last night I was listening to youtube as I fell asleep, the phone on the night stand. I woke up in the middle of the night to close youtube and go to the main screen, when I saw the screen was black, except for a streak of colors in a line across the top of the phone. I couldn't do anything so I unplugged it, took the battery out, and went back to sleep.
This morning, I plugged it all back together and then the screen went from black, to bright pink pixels, to white-pink pixels. The screen was unresponsive, but the phone was on.
Now, when I start the phone up, it's only a black screen, but it still powers on. I was able to recover my data as it's recognized by my computer.
So now.. what can I do?

Help please help

Hey I have a problem but first let me tell the story
I fell asleep with only 30% battery in my phone and when I woke up it didn't want to turn on. I tried to turn if on but didn't work. I tried to charge my phone it worked but the screen and the LED only blinked and still blinks until I post this. It's been 6 hours since I've charge my phone in that condition blinking screen and led. I've tried to unplugged from charging but my phone was totally died and still. When I tried to charge it again the blinking screen and led came. I thought it worked.
I haven't done anything to my phone

Water damage only orange led

Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance

Black Screen of Death - Back to life, now only Always-On working, any help?

So after owning my original S8+ for 3 months, the battery died one night and upon charging the next morning, I had the black screen of death. The phone would respond to my touches, it would charge, etc but the screen would never come on.
I ended up getting a replacement and putting this one in my drawer for a year. I pulled it out a week ago and plugged it in to the charger randomly and still nothing. After 2-3 hours (enough to fully charge it), I started pulling and plugging in the charge cable, along with continuous power button cycles; and BAM, the screen came on like nothing was wrong.
I unlocked it, used it for hours, backed it up just in case; and left it running on wifi. After a couple days of it running down, it was still working fine. Once it got down to ~10% battery, the screen stopped coming on.
I charged it back up to 100% and I"m now getting the always-on screen to show up. I can see the battery %, date/time and the home button on the bottom
As soon as I hit anything though, either the screen to unlock, or the power button, the screen goes off. It is responding to my inputs and I can unlock the phone via intelligent unlock/pin code/fingerprint, but something is causing it to not light up once it kicks off the always-on screen.
I've tried resetting it, as well a pwr down+bixby+power to get in to recovery mode; but even once it restarts the screen still wont turn on until it gets back to the point the always-on screen would come on.

Wow you hyped me up at 4 am I woke up and started to unplug and plug the phone while pressing the power butto
Now by chance have you guys tried to order a battery just to see. Samsung's are noted to do really weird stuff if the batteries are failing

So not to get you excited again at 4am but... I was able to get it back to life after plugging it in and letting it charge fully then repeating the steps in my original post.
It is definitely an error relating to the waking of the phone from the always on screen. I discovered this after toggling the always on settings then using the plugging/unplugging, home button press on the screen, power button harassment on the phone, causing it to finally spazz out completely and then out of nowhere the AOD blasts on.
i know this, it seems to be perfectly ok again until the battery does start to die. once it gets down to 15-20%, it will eventually go dark again until i get lucky and it gets enough juice aid/or tired of me touching everything at once.

Wont turn on need urgent help

I'm having a lot of trouble with my android. I fell asleep on the couch around half an hour ago and I woke up, and it was dead, so I put it on the charger. But the screen flashed this cyan screen saying broken cable. I put it on every single charger in the house and still nothing worked. I even put other phones and tablet on these chargers to make sure they worked and they did. So I don't know why my phone isn't charging. Whenever I do put it on a charger it just turns in but is an all black screen then immediately turns off. It keep doing this and I'm scared it'll mess up my phone. I noticed in the top corner it said "(timeout) Normal booting" so I'm wondering what is going on and what can I do to fix it. Is this one of those red rings of death moments or am I just exaggerating???
Which phone is it?
