Hi guys,
checking online I found different brands that sell this type of adapter. I bought an Aukey and sadly doesn't work with my Mi5. I found Choetech and Anker brand too...but resilient to buy them before asking in the forum.
I even found what looks like an original one from Xiaomi, altough the price is a little bit higher. Any of you that has a working adatper out there?
Phone: Mi5 32gb
OS: Lineage OS

As far as I know, the Mi5 USB connector does not support TV-out. I use my Mi5 with a Chromecast when I want to cast to my dumb TV.
Well, i recently bought an led projector, so my idea was to play emulators on my phone having the chance to see the games on a bigger screen.
I don't think the Mi5 supports video out. You need a miracast adapter for your projector. They're quite cheap, so don't worry to much.

Looking to replace my oem S4 charger, I realize the samsung one is high quality and charges at 1900mA, but I don't want to spend $40+ on a charger..anyone have any good and cheaper alternatives, what will charge at least at 1200mA, links please? I been looking around amazon and online but I'm scared to get some cheap chinese ones.

Any other charger will charge slower than the official Samsung one because of the way it implements a quickcharge spec. That said, I use this one and it works well - but definitely slower than the Samsung one:

Any cable should be fine as long as it meets USB specs. I got a bunch on Monoprice that work great.

I bought this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CQS0S7E
It's probably NOT true OEM, but it does charge my S4 at 1900mA. However, the cable that came with it did not work. It won't even fit on the s4, or any other microUSB ports. It looked used/broken. I am using a regular USB cable from monoprice and it works fine.
btw, I ordered from BLUTEKUSA. I don't see them on the list of sellers right now, so it might be dangerous to buy these as there are a lot of negative reviews on the other sellers.

If you would have searched the titles of threads in this forum for the word "charger" then you would have found my thread. Please remember to search in the future, if you did not this time.

Huh, what?!
lol
Bought a very cheap original Samsung Note2 charger here, does the job wonderfully.
Here's a small review of some charger I tested:

Seems like the blackberry playbook charger is all good, charges the phone perfectly and efficiently.
I am using the iGO Dual USB Wall Charger for Tablets. It has two 2.1Amp ports, comes with a 6 or 7 foot USB cable and the A97 tip for charging. Works wonderfully and found it on clearance at RadioShack for $8.98. I can charge my iPad and my S4 at the same time with no issues.
I'm in real need of a car charger for my S5. Does anyone know where I should buy one? Or what brand to look for? Thanks!
I almost always check on Amazon first. And boom, solution. Go for the one with the fewest negative reviews. I choose plemo for its reasonable price and so far has no complaints.

I am using maxboost car charger which I bought from amazon. This is by far one of the best chargers I ve had. Very compact and powerful.
A handful negative reviews said 2.4A port does not work with S5, but mine seems to be an updated version with so called smart port, both charges S5 fine. Currently, black color is out, and white one still available.
It can be found from here: http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Port-Maxboost-4-4A-Charger/dp/B00ISGCAJM/
I also recommend the brand plemo. I bought it on Amazon and have been using it for about four months now. Really chuffed about it. Charges my S5 really fast (definitely faster than the stock charger). Also charges my other devices including the Canon camera and the GPS.
ive got a belkin usb port and it works fine on uk gs5
Hi guys, i heard that "non-certified" charger could damage the battery of the nexus 6p. So, apart for the one who google sells on his own store, is there a cheap alternative that i could buy that also support quick charging?
How about this one ?

I´m still very pleased with it.
Hey all,
Do you guys have any experience with a dual sided micro usb cable? I just ordered one from Blitzwolf. Most aliexpres and banggood sellers say it's compatible with the S6, but one of them says it isn't. I've found a youtube video of someone who's using one for his galaxy s6. So it does fit, but is it also safe?

Is this it?

Never heard of this before. Looks interesting. The reviews on Amazon are positive, but I've seen many fake reviews on other Blitzwolf products on Amazon. One reviewer mentioned the following, which concerns me: "The micro USB end really clicks into ports, like almost too firmly. Not sure if this is bad or not for the port in the long run."

Yes that's it! It does feel quite firm, but not that firm, I guess. I hope that there are more people who tried this cable on the Galaxy S6.
How'd the cables go? I just ordered 4 of them from banggood, 2x 2m and 2x 1m braided (were on sale) and plan on using them with my s7.

I received this one from Banggood last week http://www.banggood.com/BlitzWolf-2...B-A-Male-Reversible-to-Micro-B-p-1027785.html
I use it in my car with a BW-C5 http://www.banggood.com/Qualcomm-Ce...-QC-2_0-4-Port-USB-Car-Charger-p-1019904.html
and this combination is perfect. Quick Charge is working perfect and i get appr. 30% per half hour when navigating with tomtom go 1.9 on my Galaxy S6 SM-G920F

I got a 6 foot for at home and a 3 foot braided for the bag. These look good. Thanks!
USB only uses 4 pins; on the Micro connector, they are all on one side. So, a reversible connector, if wired properly, will be perfectly safe.
Does anyone use a USB-C to micro USB adapater with their Mi5? I have a bunch of high-quality micro USB cables from my own phone that I'd like to use with the Mi5.
I'm wondering if charging speeds are affected and how well the adapters work. Anker sells a 2-pack for about $7, but I've also seen generics for $1 each. Is there a big difference between brands?

Didn't realize Xiaomi made those adapters! Rather buy theirs than from a 3rd party. I just ordered a few of them so I look forward to trying them out.
