Bluetooth doesn't work after installing Tomtom 7

Hello,
I installed Tomtom on my touch2 but now the bluetooth doesn's work anymore.
I know this problem on the HD2 but this is a diffrent phone so i'm just asking.
Can i pull out the same solution or should i do something diffrent?
Please help me.

you must change name of the two file. BtCoreIf.dll en BtSdkCE30.dll

You must do a LINK to the exe in start-menu. Seem that you have copy the exe directly to the star-menu.

can u describe how to reverse the bug from installing TomTom ?! just cant handle myself ?!

Ya está solucionado. TOMTOM coloca un nuevo dlls BT en la carpeta de Windows que hay que eliminar:
\ Windows \ BtSdkCE30.dll
\ Windows \ BtCoreIf.dll
Puedes renombrarlos o eliminarlos y, a continuación reiniciar la pda y todo volverá a la normalidad.
Para localizar los ficheros sólo hay que iniciar el Explorador de archivos, seleccionar la opción 'menú', seleccionar 'Mostrar todos los archivos'.

It would be a usefull information , and also i've done a Hard reset and restored a backuped file made 1 week ago , so , i managed somehow ! it is more important than i though to make backups , now that's my priority - 1 time a week ! and a backup before installing more than 1 program ot once !

First post on this forum - my Touch2 arrives tomorrow - I was a devote of my ELf until I had to give it back 6 months ago...
Anyhow, not sure why you have TomTom issues - here's a trick though. Install tom tom to your SD card, tehn do a hard reset to get rid of the bluetooth stuff. Once reset, just create a shortcut to the navigator.exe on the sd card rather than installing it...
Or use IGO 8!
If you have maps etc already, I can probably zip up and send the application folder all working....

I think it is TomTom 7916.9189. With Europa 835.2421.
It's a version To be used on HD2. But After installing on my HD2 nothing whas
wrong But on the touch2 it's another story.
But i never caught any error message until after reboot the BT error message

You are finished. TOMTOM BT put a new dlls in the Windows folder to be removed: \ Windows \ BtSdkCE30.dll \ Windows \ BtCoreIf.dll You can rename or delete and then restart the pda and everything will return to normal. Same problem here.
installed tom tom 7. And Bttray error comes up. And makes the bluetooth unusable.
I have searched the 2 files in /windows/ but they are not present. only BTtray.exe and it tells me all the time that this is not a valid ppc app.
What on earth does tom tom want with the bluetooth thing. let it be it worked . Now it stoopped.

How to make root to this device?
To rooted is used z4root found here, follow these steps:

Before installing enter settings > applications, brand unknown sources.
Also mark in settings > application development > debugging usb
When you run Z4root show us two options:
We chose permanent root wait a moment and the phone will restart, done you phone is rooted
If you want to remove the root for X reason open z4root and choose unroot wait a moment, the phone will restart and done! You phone is un-root.
The Froyo ROM which we install comes from the Huawei U8500 but such as they are devices with differences in the hardware there are limitations which are as follows:
The radio fm, the multitouch and front camera not working.​
There are also problems with the main camera, but the rest if it works well here a translation of the post #1 of the thread that is created in the forums of CANTV:
This is not my work, the main developer is alfred_2 @digialfred (in twitter) and our main forum is Main CANTV Forum for Huawei UM840 (in spanish)
Installing Froyo (2.2) on our Um840:
There are two ways to do this
1) This is the most simple one, it consists in applying the froyo beta ROM from Huawei U8500 directly using force upgrade but you'll lose all your personal settings and if you want to go back to Eclair (2.1) you must also force upgrade using Movilnet's Official 2.1 ROM with the same consequences of U8500 beta force upgrading.
You need to download Huawei U8500 Froyo ROM Beta, unzip it al look for the dload folder with size is 211MB, then copy it into your sdcard root folder (/sdcard).
Now shut down your phone and turn it on by pressing EndCall+VolumeUp+Power buttons.
After the process it will show an error message, remove your battery for 3 seconds, put it back and turn on your phone. Done you have now Froyo on your UM840
This method is a contribution made by Airex0
2) This way is a little bit more methodic but in advantage you can make android backups of your phone and restore them whenever you want to go back to 2.1.
To install Froyo Evolution you must meet theses minimun reqs:
1. Have root access (wich you can get using z4root
2. Install Android Terminal Emulator from android market
3. Download and put in sdcard/recovery these files: Flash_image and recovery.img
4. Open Android Terminal Emulator (you need to be rooted) and input this to install ClockworkMod Recovery:
#su (enter) (grant root permissions)
#mount -o remount,exec /dev/block//vold/179:1 /sdcard (enter)
#cd /sdcard/recovery (enter)
#./flash_image recovery recovery.img (enter) ​
You shouldn't get any message back close your terminal.
5.Put this file Froyoevo1.3.1 without unzipping it in your sdcard root folder (/sdcard) and shut down your phone.
6. Turn on your phone by pressing Power+VolumeUp+Call, it should boot in recovery clockworkmod.
Its HIGHLY recommended to make a backup of your current configuration, this can be done in the "backup and restore" option then "backup"
7. After creating the backup select the option "install from sdcard"
8. then select ""choose zip from sdcard"
9. select froyo evolucion 1.3.1.zip
10. go down and select the Yes option and wait.
11. When it's done press your back key and select "wipe data/factory reset"
12. Select the option "reboot system now"
13. You are done, now you have Froyo (2.2) in your UM840 with your backup from 2.1 in case you need it in the future.
Can i go back to 2.1 in case i don't like 2.2?
If you followed recommendations and made your backup just go into recovery mode (Power+VolumeUp+Call buttons when turning on your phone) choose backup and restore, then restore, choose one of your backups and done. you'll have your UM840 back on 2.1 just like you had it before flashing.
If you didn't made a backup you'll need to download the official Movilnet's ROM unzup it and put it into a folder called dload in your sdroot folder (/sdcard/dload) and turn on your phone pressing Power+VolumeUp+ENDCALL, in about 3 minutes you'll have your brand new-like UM840.
Improvements after installing Froyo Evolution:
Greater speed.
Better battery performance.
Move app´s to the microSD.​
Personally I'm still with the Stock ROM because I don't want to lose the function of the multitouch and FM radio, so we would appreciate if any member of this forum help us with the development of this ROM to make it completely functional.
Any suggestion is received.

Here you will find a stable version from Froyo to the IDEOS X3 but not the I tested if you want to tested and comment out if works it.

Well, this cell is becoming very popular here in Venezuela ... I dont have this phone (yet), partly because I'm hoping that it becomes possible to upgrade to Froyo. So here I am, supporting the initiative ...

Has anyone tried to install the FM radio App that comes with the CM7 version of the Nexus One? I think it works by allowing the FM capabilities of the nexus processor! Maybe that can work on the UM840 too. I don't currently have the app, but will try to extract it and install it. We'll see what happens!

Buenas a todos! Efectivamente, la aplicación no corre por si sola! Necesita algunos archivos para su funcionamiento. Mi ultimo intento es este: Descarguen el archivo adjunto y copien su contenido (archivos .so) en el directorio /system/lib mediante Root Explorer o Terminal Emulator; reinicien y prueben nuevamente la aplicación instalada antes con el FM.apk.
Me dejan saber que tal les fue, kizas pueda preguntarle a un colega que puso a funcionar la Radio FM en su Droid X.

I will 1st write this in english and in the second line in romanian , becouse not all of people from Romania /Bulgaria/Russia etc etc etc knows english and a translator online will only spell some words in a phrase like bull..it.
Well I got my note3 a few months ago and now I'm facing a big problem , by mistake i insterted a firmware from TSR with Z Nf1 and my phone suddenly got several problems :
1. When I updated with ODIN at hidden menu I received the messagge FAILED
2. The device has restarted but in a few secs showed Sec Wizard Samsung has stoped , press OK/Wait
3. No Sound , Camera stoped, Email stoped , Youtube FC
4. probably when I uograded the firmware also the Protection was enabled
5. I tryied to reinstall several firmwares and did several tryes to have back sounds and other things
6. I instaled CM and almost worked but still no sound etc etc .

2. FAra sunet si camera a luat FC youtube si email plus sec wizard
3. Am putut reporni sistemul dar cele de mai sus sau intamplat si cred ca csc era de vina si protectia
4. am reinstalat o gramada de firmware si nimic ... fara sunet si se blocheza.
5. am instalat Cyanogen MOD si am primit urmatoarele avantaje ,pot citi mail , trimite sms .. dar nu pot suna nu pot fi sunat si nici nu am sunet . . Va tin la curent .

Ai încercat sa rescrii firmwareul cu kies sa aduci telefonul la starea de fabricație.

Hello guys! I made the mistake a couple of month ago and upgraded my note 3 to lollipop and i kinda hate it but as I like to change things I was thinking about messing with rooting/custom roms but it has been a while since I've done this kind of things. (last time on my sony k810i)
Now if you are kind, can you help me a bit with some pointers:
1) How the ensure a safe backup in case I do something wrong (apps, tools etc)
2) How do I root the phone
3) How to install custom rom
4) What custom rom do you recommend (I love doing things in the fastest way possible (calls, messages), I hate lag and too many colors - like every page on settings in lollipop)

I have a Samsung Note 3 SM-N900 with 5.0 Lollipop upgraded to Kies. After the upgrade is no longer working wifi. Pushbutton remains dark green, faded and in-wifi settings remains gray. Also, the microSD card is not accessed, though he has no problem mechanical / electronic. I tried several versions of Odin ROM (I had TGY - Hong Kong, I tried Israel, Russia, but nothing. I did downgrade to 4.4.2, still nothing. Update and with Kies3 5.0. I started wireless network and worked perfectly for several days before the first restart due to battery discharge. After loading wifi is and inoperative. Previously, we managed enabled wifi by canceling power save mode menu hidden wifi * # 0011 #. cards microSD Samsung, 4GB, 8GB can be accessed. I found greater evidence. we have two microSD cards of 32GB, both Kingstone, and none is recognized Note3, although new. I'll look for a card Samsung 128 Gb, hope go.
Does anyone have any solution to these two problems?

Mi-a pornit rețeaua wireless și a funcționat perfect câteva zile, până la primul restart cauzat de descărcarea bateriei. După încărcare wifi este iar nefuncțional. Anterior, am reușit activarea wifi prin anularea power save mode din meniul ascuns wifi *#0011#. Carduri microSD Samsung, de 4Gb, de 8Gb, pot fi accesate. N-am găsit mai mare pentru probă. UPDATE: Wi-fi work fine WITHOUT SIM inside. When I put that damn DigiMobil SIM, wi-fi on my Samsung SM-N900 will be like above !

It also arrived in Germany.
Changes in the weather app - other icons - time unfortunately is 1 hour wrong

I got the same update in Chile, too. I haven't noticed any difference yet.

Do you have the correct time in weather app? In Berlin I have 1 hour different at top of the weather screen.

Yes, I have that too! I didn't notice. Do you have Daylight Saving Time in Germany now? Because we have it here, and thus an explanation can be that the Weather app is not making use of the DST flag.
What is the most effective way of letting Samsung developers know about this?
P.S.: What if.... the app is trying to make us believe it is looking into the future? After all, it's a forecast! :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Yes, we have Daylight Saving Time in Germany since 2 weeks. Maybe that's the problem.
So we will probably have to look into the future for half a year . Because I do not think - from my experience - Samsung will correct that because firmware development for GearS2 is out

Tout s'est bien passé depuis la mise à jour. Les applications fonctionnent toutes pour les notifications aussi.
Merci à Samsung pour cette mise à jour de la S2.
Il ne manque plus qu'un peu plus d'applications utiles et enfin à nouveau le Nike Running fonctionnel avec la nouvelle version sur Android. Parce que S Health est pas mal mais pas au niveau de ce que propose Nike Running. Il paraît que Nike serait dessus, alors on attend, encore...

Everything has gone well since the update. The applications all work for notifications as well.
Thanks to Samsung for this update of the S2.
It lacks more than a few more useful applications and finally again the Nike Running functional with the new version on Android. Because S Health is not bad but not at the level of what Nike offers Running. It seems that Nike will be on it, so we wait, again .

Please my Gear S2 classic is locked to the start screen. I can start it to the Usb mode but not to wifi mode.
It shows me that "custom Update locked by reactivation lock "

Jai ma gear S2 qui est verrouillee juste au niveau du démarrage. Je sais pas cmt faire pour la refaire marcher. Elle affiche Custom Update locked by reactivation lock.

Il faut la réinstaller avec le même compte Samsung que celui qui l'a verrouillé.

I from Viet Nam but I can't see any update.

I have problems
I installed this update and now my watch keeps showing only the "tags" of the variables instead of the data.
In example. Instead of showing my calendar events, it shows: "WDS_CLD_NPBODY_NO_EVENTS_TODAY_ABB"
Has anyone this problem too? How could i solve it? I tried synchronizing it again. But it keeps showing that errors.

Exactly, I am also from Brazil, and after this update the battery is discharging fast, and unloads even leaving the clock off, it seems of purpose, for owner to think that the clock is getting old and force the purchase of a new one.

Just now receiving this in the U.S. (Texas).

Got the update this morning in South Carolina. Battery drain seems normal to me.

I have received the update as well and have experienced abnormal battery drain. I used to get a full day off the battery now I'm struggling to make it to a half of day. Samsung please fix quick!

Need help with twrp for A03 (SM-A035G/DSN)

..i know this might the wrong forum but there isnt a general twrp (if there is, please point me there) or A03 forum.
I have a galaxy a03 sm-a035g/dsn, 64gb storage, 4g ram, bought in germany in 2022.
I cant find a correct subforum in the samsung section...
Basically all i want to is flash DTS:X ultra/ headphones files to my phone.
(Bootloader is unlocked)
From what i have gathered i could do this without root using twrp.but after installing twrp the phone will only start into the usual recovery mode; there doesnt seem to be a designated file to flash twrp on my a03.
I have no access to a pc here and havent used odin before anyways.
I am completely new to all of this and am really only trying to get the sound codes on my phone.
Rooting the phone with king/kingo/magisk(to then use magisk to implement the codecs didnt work either).
