Enable Google Assistant on Marshmallow & Nougat [root] & [no root Samsung only]
Hi everyone,
A lot of you guys may still not Google Assistant on your Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 6.0 Marshmallow devices but I have just discover a trick to enable it on your phone
This method is tested on my Sony Xperia Z2 and Samsung A3 (2017)
What you need is
CCSWE App Manager (ROOT) for rooted devices.
CCSWE App Manager (SAMSUNG) for Samsung ONLY
Open the app and search for Google app, press on Google Assistant and press show icon, now back to the home screen and search for the Google Assistant in the app drawer and launch it, finish the setup and it should now work, also with long press home gesture, after that you can also hide the Google Assistant icon if you don't want to see it
If it works write your below your phone's Android Version and model and don't forget to hit the Thanks button :highfive:

Okay. So I have followed your method using the CCSWE App Manager. I have the Assistant app now. But when I run it, it says "The Google Assistant isn't available on this device". Could you help me on that? My device is Samsung Galaxy J5 2015 SM-J500G.

Clear cache and data google app. It work for me on galaxy a5 2017
Hey, hope I'm not bumping an old thread, but I got a bit of a weird situation here.
So I downloaded the app (samsung one, I have an on5) and I actually managed to get assistant to show on the app drawer, but when I clicked it, it says "app not installed" and when you open the google app next it hides the icon from the drawer again.
Again, phone is Samsung Galaxy On5. Any way to get Assistant working on here?

Hey so my Mum got the S8 and the Camera with the Eye (which tell you stuff about the Place you Scan) is amazing.
Can we also get this Option on S6? I already got Launcher + Brixby
Also I installed newest Version of AoD but if I try to Setup it just crash. If I try install V25 it just say "Conflict simlar app already installed"
I have Android 7.0 + Root
You could try the Noble Nougat S8 port ROM which gives you all the S8 features including the camera, if you do install it just make sure you do select the S8 Camera option in setup.

As, I've seen it's possible to make lineage os device daydream ready and download VR supported apps on it however, official Pixel Launcher is not available on Playstore. What Part of the code must be changed to download Pixel Launcher Directly from Playstore on Rooted devices?

Tested on my galaxy S8 Android 7, NOT INSTALL IN.
Crashes on s7 edge stock. Don't try it.
Internet doesn't install and screen recorder isn't there despite saying installed and weather widget disappears.
Links are not online
Ofcource These Apps Didn't Made For All Devices.These Are Only For Touchwiz ROMs..So I Don't Know What OP Want To Do...

You can't if you are not rooted. If you are, you can use Xposed and there are modules that can do this.
recent task for xposed not compatible android 7.0 and 7.1.2 stock and custom rom

Samsung Task Changer APK
This is the apk that I found on APKMirror. It changes your recent screen to something you saw on Android P. It is official APK by Samsung and I tried it on Stock S7 Flat. It should be supported on all S7 variants running on Android 8.0.
Instructions:
Download APK
Install as regular app, nothing special.

I have installed on a galaxy note 8. Since Samsung Task Changer does not support multitask double windows, i would like to uninstall it. How is it possible?

You have to install the latest version of task changer. That version supports multiwindow: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...-task-changer-1-3-01-62-android-apk-download/ You can uninstall in settings > apps > task changer
