Nougat kernel for k550 has appeared on the LG open source site. The countdown begins.

Does anyone know where we can get the Nougat bootloader or is it flashed from ROM?

[Q] How to build any android version source code and flash on any device?

Firstly, apologies if this is not the right section.
We all know that android source code is available. So my question is how can I build the source code and install on any device? For example if I have an old device for which updates are not available. Can we just flash it with any android stock rom?Not talking about custom rom.
Can we take the source from github and just build and flash on our device?Because android is hardware independent? Like we can install ubuntu on any system?

Release LOS 15.1?

hello,
LOS 15.1 is released, is there any information, when the One will get the version official?
thanks
If you mean CyanoGenOS 15.1, released by CyanogenInc, the answer is pretty clear: NEVER. COS is updated to Android 6.0.1, that's it. CyanogenInc doesn't work on OS anymore, Oneplus is never going to release an Oxygen OS build for OPO, so if you want install LOS or others custom ROM, but do not expect anything official at all.

Hi,
i mean lineageos , the offical 15.1 was released at 26 february.
At the moment the lattest official build is 14.1 but for the oneplus 3 and 5 lineage released an official 15.1.
I know that lineage is no "official" release.
My question is when will there an official release for the one?
I want no custom build.
Thanks
So you better check the title of the thread you started, becouse you wrote COS! Anyway, we have to still wait for an official release of LOS and any custom ROM based on it, as there are few problems with camera (not working) and other things not working, so they plan to solve them first and then release. The other roms using Android 8.1 use Sultan Blobs or other to make camera works etc, but it is not the same. You just have to wait.
Feel free to testdrive my LOS build from the official sources at https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-lineageos-15-1-unofficial-t3758211

Is Resurrection Remix Oreo officially released for hammerhead?

Every day I check voidz's android file host account for another build of the RR O ROM and today I saw this but if I go to the official site I don't actually see it so I want to know if maybe any of you see it in the official website
sorryyy, not here...

How important are official kernel sources to making a stable ROM?

I've been having considerable debate with myself over whether I should stay on my 99% stable LineageOS 14.1 ROM or go to 15.1. For my device (Moto G5 Plus), there has not yet been an official Oreo update, so official Oreo kernel sources have not yet been released.
Anyway, to the point: how important are these sources in making a custom ROM? Thanks to any reply, especially developers.

I am currently using Hashbang's build with Nougat boot loader:

But Wheels564 has a newer build if you are still on MM:
