Doesnt Stick
I boot up the rom but it reboots shortly after i cant even get it past the setup screen.

Great going so far
Before this ROM, I had various issues with lollipop ROMs like music FC, mobile data issue. But none of those issues so far. Clean install, first boot took around 5 mins and everything working flawlessly except YouTube app which for some reason playing video for fraction of second as soon as you click play button then stops and does same for subsequent clicks. Anyone else facing this issue? (Sorry if it's already covered as I'm browsing thru phone).
Edit: Nevermind the YouTube issue is resolved after reboot Yay!

What is everyone doing that im not, the lollipop roms ive tried have all been no go's, on this rom my navigation bar doesnt even function. And force closes alot Camera, Music, etc. I dont know why this is doing this, if everyone else is having success.

Problem
After being on this ROM for almost 4 hrs, problem started. I went outside and I was on mobile network, and after some time, my phone froze (black screen or turned off not sure which was it). I rebooted my phone by pressing power button for extended period. When It started my mobile network was gone. No data or call and no bars. When I went to apn setting, it was blank. I did waited some time at the beginning when I flashed this ROM to setup cellular network and I was on LTE network for some time on the road. Anyone else facing this issue. Also YouTube issue resurfaced when I tried different video.

I just installed it and everything is running smooth so far. Great work

Cannot get rom to install correctly. Fails on activating cellular everytime. I have no data connection unless i use wifi no matter what i try.

Yea..i tried skipping it. It will continue forward but then i end up with no cell signal at all. Wifi is all i get. My bad, i should have been more clear.

I just reboot after it. Shouldn't have to activate on a GSM network anyways.

That is what i thought as well. When i rebooted after installing it says no signal, unless i use wifi i have no data connection at all.

That's really weird. I always skip it and I have lte and signal. I'd just do a clean wipe and reflash. I'm not certain why its doing that. Keep in mind this is a alpha build. So I guess it's really hit or miss

Yea..i cannot figure it out either. I seem to be the only one with this problem. I am sure whatever it is will work itself out.

I haven't tested VoLTE as I don't have a VoLTE sim, but you can try. Without any hacks

Just one question: Weekly or Monthly updates?

Quickly clean flashed this rom. Stock dialer shows random favorites. There's no way to swap HW buttons (at least didn't find it). Titanium backup won't install, so I'm back to Havoc.

Great ROM , everything works great except volte even with the volte fix . Am not complaining just informing others who are looking for volte working ... Amazing work man this was my favorite ROM from KitKat days

Titanium backup works fine here without issues and hw button swap is available under crdroid settings

The rom overall is pretty good, but it still miss the screen-off gestures and battery customizations.

I have this problem too, btw, on LOS 15.1 I haven't it!
Very annoying custom friction of scroll value on this ROM.
Chrome is lagging heavy, device is hot!

ROM builds are nightly, yes.
Random favorites, I have faced this issue on a couple of other PIE ROMs too, so yes, maybe a dialer bug.
No source changes were there yesterday, most probably expect an update today.

Sounds like you broke your phone. I be mean you tried different roms with same results either restore to stock and see if it's something low-level you messed with or get new phone If it's VoIP you are using then might be mixer path issues. First try a magisk module. Or use Google to learn about editing it. Honestly though you need to be more specific when it happens. What caused it. Anything besides something so general. It like saying my tires are broken. Yes the car is down and there is issue with tires but why what ect. Is a there a nail? It's it flat? I think the speaker and mic are part of the same module in this phone. So sounds like hardware issue. Do you have mods like sauron/viper/Dolby?
Note: Post it in one place. The best being where you lost the use in the first place. Then get logs.

This rom doesn't have the middle lockscreen shortcuts yet, right? And maybe someone can compare the battery life to RR7?

This is a solid ROM with great battery life for me. I have always had better battery life with crdroid in the past. I did not not test between the two on this device.l, but I have done yesterday on at least he 6 different phones and crdroid was always better for battery life. RR might get more updates though. It had been updated since it was really this was not.... Yet...

I don't know about middle lockscreen shortcuts I don't control feature set of crDroid. This version isn't the "go" version of android. Next build will have the "go" configs to improve performance for the surnia device.

Tried the rom yesterday, and actually it doesn't have any lockscreen shortcuts yet (middle nor bottom). Also there isn't a 4g/LTE button in quick settings (maybe it's possible to get it with tasker or other apps).
If the rom isn't "go", is there some other reason why split screen doesn't work? I would really love to use this function on a pie rom for surnia.

You can set a low ram flag. I think some kernel managers have it, you can look up how to do be it manually, I know for sure lspeed has that option. Only thing it does is allow you a different app set and a bit different memory management. If it's built to it though it's different I think. Different system apps and Google apps like assistant.

In other pie based roms and also the previous builds of Crdroid there is a bug in dialer due to which while making outgoing calls it does not shows call duration. Is that bug has been patched in this build?

Gcam works but gcam version doesn't offer hdr, portrait features.

Camera is buggy
Hello dev, I've been using this rom since morning and I've had no issues so far, except one. The camera, everything seems to work fine in the camera view finder but as soon as I click the photo, it comes out glitchy. this happens in whatever app I take a picture in, Please help

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your X01BD, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

First of all, thanks for maintaining official crDroid for this phone. As I also mentioned already on your crDroid Pie thread earlier, I really like this ROM. It is based on LineageOS with added customizations which makes it quite a good combo.
However, most of the Custom ROMs here except for the Official LineageOS and Official ArrowOS, use a Kernel which is heavily deviated from the Linux-Stable one. For example, messing with Refresh Rate of screen or unnecessary overclocks (which I don't think actually work). I am not really a fan of such untested, unnecessary additions.
You seem to be using a relatively stable Kernel which seems to be in-line with Linux-Stable (in your Pie Builds). So, I wanted to know which Kernel are you using for this one? The source isn't mentioned here (at the time of writing this). Further, a source with commit history will be really appreciated.
There is one request of mine. Can you put out a standalone LineageOS or ArrowOS Kernel compiled for your crDroid? It would be helpful for guys like me if you don't want to ship that Kernel by default in your builds.
Once again, thanks for maintain such an Amazing ROM for our device.

Well, I haven't decided whether to continue with the kernel "katnis" which was used in pie builds. I made it just because I found some features I used seem missing in the Arrow kernel. In this initial build, i have used the kernel of lineageos. The future depends on the public opinion of this build, afterwards the source will be updated accordingly.

Will there be support for the "smart bar" of navigation buttons, as in Pie?

1. charging speed is slow.
2. add user selectable volte icon.
3. smart charging.

Crdroid always comes with a safehouse kernel which never supports smart/fast charging or such bleeding edge features. If you need the feature, change the kernel under your own risk

Found a bug where after some time the network traffic indicator is stuck at some values and does not refreshes even if we turn on and off the internet again.

And Navigation bar visibility toggle state won't remain after reboot.

I love crDroid but I can't figure out why 6.0 won't boot up if I remove system apps, even though Music, Mail and Browser which I could remove with no problem in 5.9.

But I've tried many times but no luck.
I tried with System App Safe Remover.
Would you tell me how you removed the apps?
