Help: Snapchat doesn't work after rooted
After I flashed custom rom on my J7 2016 .. snapchat can't login ...
What is the solutions of this problem ?!

Yes. Snapchat doesn't work on root. So you have to use magisk. I don't use magisk so i don't know the method. But there is a method for snapchat. Google it.

Xd
Use other phone log into snapchat make a backup with titanium backup and copy the documents to your sd card Then copy those files to the cell that you can not log in and restore

Xposed Root hide Working..

Do a full unroot via SuperSu, it is completely safe select yes for all prompts!
Then login to Snapchat!
Reboot to recovery flash the rom you are using or the kernel to get root access back!
You'll have both Snapchat and root. Enjoy!

Great! It must have worked? ?

It will not work on supersu
Try magisk

First of all flash this stock kernal zip only for J7 2015 Marshmallow version than proceed to below mentioned steps.
Use the Update unSu-signed zip to totally remove supersu leftovers after u do full unrrot from supersu.. Than flash magisk v12 if supersu is perfectly removed ull have a perfectly working magisk..
Later goto magisk settings - enable magisk hide - select the app u want to hide root of say snapchat.
Reboot & than try login to snapchat works perfect.

S7 edge - systemless root + xposed + android pay

(posted previously in the wrong section)
Anyone using systemless root + xposed and android pay?
I was able to use systemless root with magisk v3 + phh superuser + systemless xposed without any problem however flashfire was not working since I cannot also make chainfire supersSU to work in s7 edge...
( releases after v3 up to v6 are not supporting well samsung - I verified though with the android version G935FXXU1BPH6 which also might be causing issues).
However after updating this version G935FXXU1BPH6 it seems to cause issues with TWRP and only boots to the last (twrp-3.0.2-3-hero2lte.img) and now I cannot go systemless at all because magisk v3 is not working aswell, root simply is not recognized.
SO basically now I'm using stock phone as I wanted to use android pay.... any ideas or anyone with any sucess?
im using v6 without problems. BUT you have to root with cfautoroot and unroot with superSU one time. i think that superSU changes something in boot.img that magisk needs to work ...
after that you have to use phh superuser.
pogo work
Flashfire will not
ok

This works fine as does systemless xposed etc. Did you pick the option to restore stock boot.img when you uninstalled SuperSU?
My banking apps can still detech phh's root. Wondering if the modified boot from SuperSU is the cause. Might just need to wait for Magisk V7 which shouldn't need this workaround.

Install xposed and KoalaCoak you don't need to be unrooted
That is only for ANZ and Westpac internet banking, not Android Pay? Is that correct? Have you got it working for Android Pay?
Cheers.

Read up on Magisk. Systemless Xposed is pointless as you can't bypass safetynet
If we get update and if we update.
Is it require to wipe data after flashing twrp?

[Resolved] Magisk 11.1 getting ErrorCode : 1

So I've been trying to unroot my OP3 and it seems to unroot it self just fine, but once I want to install the Magisk zip it gives me "Updater Process Ended with error: 1" and I have no clue why because the root from SuperSU is gone I checked I couldn't access rooted apps anymore, so I tried to flash the Magisk 11.1.zip and I got the Updater Process Ended with error: 1 message.
I had rooted with SR1-SuperSU-v2.79
The thing is when I try to root with SuperSU again and then when I flash the Magisk zip it flashes just fine, but once I open the Magisk Manager part and go to Settings->Magisk Hide - I get the notification that I'm not using MagiskSU and it tells me that I'm not rooted with MagiskSU.
Anyone who can help me get it rooted the right way with Magisk?
EDIT:
The issue has been resolved, what I did was once I hit Unroot in SuperSU in the Settings you need to click Yes when it asks to flash stock recovery for OTAs.
After this I could flash Magisk and now I pass the Safetynet Check.

I did say how I resolved it, it's just that when you Unroot you let the stock recovery flash itself back. After that to be sure that your device still works let the device boot itself to the homescreen and check if SuperSU is gone, after that go back to TWRP and flash Magisk.

How to root SM-G920I variant

Hi everyone
I recently acquired a galaxy s6 smartphone
It soon had an OTA update that upgraded it to Android N(7.0)
I have researched on some topics relating to its root process but most people have complaint of some errors, ranging from failed root to brick, from bootloop to sudden crashing and then restarting normally.
If anyone has successfully rooted this model on Android 7.0 ,please reply.
I would quite the comment up here
Thanks in advance

@sasabo79 If u didn't root your phone yet
Follow the steps in this video https://youtu.be/BV1ELmu8T0I & that's it.
DO NOT USE supersu. USE & flash Magisk v14.0 (stable) from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/beta-magisk-v13-0-0980cb6-t3618589 Download latest Magisk Manager as well
So the steps are:
From the links in the video, download the specific twrp for g920f/i (g920i is basically g920f except for a network band. So everything compatible for g920f will be compatible for g920i). This one https://eu.dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/twrp-3.1.1-0-zeroflte.img.tar The first file.
Install the Samsung drivers from the link in the video on your pc.
Download & extract Odin.exe.
Enable usb debugging on your phone.
Put your phone to download mode
Start odin. Follow the steps in the video to install twrp
When install is complete, immediately reboot to twrp to flash Magisk v14.0. Wipe Dalvik.
Reboot. Install latest Magisk Manager
Check status in the Magisk Manager.
Done.
If not rooted, flash magisk.zip again in twrp
SuperSu gave problems to some users. Magisk was successfully installed in the first shot!
No need to wipe data etc. Only wipe Dalvik after flashing Magisk. U won't lose any data

Anyone running Xposed Nougat on rooted stock?

So now that the unofficial Xposed for Nougat is out, has anyone gotten it to work on a rooted stock mate 9?
It looked like it might be just for magisk, but root is via SuperSU for us.

First off you need to be on a B182+ firmware and flash Twrp 3.1.0-1.
For decrypted (Wipe - 'Format Data' in twrp then back to twrp start screen and Reboot - Reboot recovery, this erases all user data/apps and you need to flash public and hw zip after you've formatted) use the official Magisk 13.3 zip: http://tiny.cc/latestmagisk
For encrypted (no need to format data or do anything special, downside is you won't be able to backup /data partition) use: https://mega.nz/#!I4FQzbyA!gBZelHmD3lGGwzGISUXkf7GQTUAq5i785d_qPHQOaVE
If you have any root flashed currently, flash back stock boot.img before flashing Magisk.

Snapchat problem

Hey guys 2 days ago I flashed lineageos on my S7.Now I reverted back to stock without root and snapchat gives me an error page the sameome that prints when you have a rooted phone
Any suggestions?
You are on stock Touchwiz now but still can't login to Snapchat?
Could you download the SafetyNet Helper Sample and look if your phone passes SafetyNet?

If you're really on stock touchwiz (downloaded from sammobile, updato,...) this actually can't be lol
Have you installed a custom recovery afterwards? if so you can go into the TWRP filemanager and look if there are the files /system/bin/su and/or /system/xbin/su. If this files exist you can delete them and try it one more time
If you want to be rooted anyway, you can root with Magisk, which has a SafetyNet bypass.
If you don't want to be rooted, I believe there is no other option than download the stock firmware again and flash it (via Odin).
Change the name of the su folder to disable root, the room has a trace of pre installed root.. ether do that or remove root or custom Rom. Titanium back up Snapchat, re install, run backup & done
