After installing an update my device started re-booting at MI screen. Then after going through many forums, I flashed by using mi flash windows application. Even this didn't work, so I used adp drivers to flash twrp and installed a custom ROM through this recovery. In TWRP everything works perfectly fine, even the mi recovery works fine. But as soon as I start my device it boot loops at the logo.
As a last resort, I submitted my mobile in a service center and now the service guy says that my mobile's motherboard is faulty and it would cost me around Rs 10K.
How can I trust the service guy, how could TWRP and mi recovery work if there is an issue in motherboard?
Please clarify my queries, Spending 10k on a 11k mobile is a waste.
Don't ever fall in service centre guys words.

The case was with me when I flashed android Honeycomb on it. I Hard-bricked it! ( Not even showing reaction when connected to charger ) ( nor booting )
I submitted my phone to Service centre and they said it would take at least 2 months. But I got my repaired phone on the 10th day!
For your problem the only best solution is Service center...
You can get firmware version and download tools from this website http://support.moulnisky.com/index.php?dir=Karbonn/S5_Titanium/
i changed my phone
but thanx manav113
Bad luck I presume..

Hey you said that u found some tool for karbonn s1, can u tell us what is this tool? I know a tool called Acronis True Image but it requires backup image of the sys_boot partition. That means someone who has working S1/S5 has to take back up of recovery partition(sector by sector) using Acronis True Image and upload it here on xda or somewhere else and we can use that back up with the same tool. Please let me know if u have solution
Ya!
my karbonn smartphone was only responding to qpst tool (qualcomm products supporting tool)
I encountered with it while I was googling to revive my hard brick phone.
even phone was neither charging nor booting but responding to qpst.
If you want qpst tool I can send you by mail
But I don't have any backup of firmware files.
I think you should talk to zeyaan or deepa2119 they may help you probably they have back up

HeyI have the 2.7 build 411 but my phone (LG G3 Qualcomm 400 MSM8926) doesnt appear on the selection menu or is detected by the program. Would you have a newer version?
Last night I unlocked my bootloader and installed twrp recovery but somehow my mind changed so I thought to revert back changes and i download stock recovery of Realme 5 pro from somewhere(can't remember source) and after flashing it without checking it I ran a need command "fastboot flashing lock " and after that I rebooted my device and now it shows "the current image (boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot " and now I can't even boot into fastboot mode to do something to revert back it .....At last, I'm here for suggestions on how can I make my device run normally.

Also when i connect my smartphone with the computer it doesn't detect any device just showing that message on loop
My suggestion may sound weird but i suggest you take the phone to your nearest realme service center if they asked what happend to the device tell them this "I updated my device because there is a new update and while it was updating and rebooted it sudenly got this problem"
When you go there act like a complete newbie
And dont forget to bring the proof of purchase or warranty card
Edit: I have done this way back when i bricked my oppo f5 since they are sister company i hope it also apply on realme

Thanks actually before reading your response, I talked to a realme someone from realme care and they said they can't say anything until they have a diagnostic so for that I took my device to a realme service center and told the truth that when I was trying to lock my bootloader again it happened it took me 2 and half hour but got my device software installed again without charges as it was still in warranty period .
BTW thanks IG it helped

Lol, your fault is put "fastboot flashing lock" command, and your device is on custom recovery. My advice is, if you don't have a knowledge about flashing rom, maybe next time you should watch tutorial on youtube "How to flash stock rom". Yes, you will get brick if you still on custom recovery, you should flash stock recovery first if you want re-lock the bootloader.
My realme 5 pro has also bricked.
It seems that EDL mode can be used.
However, there is no tool that can be flashed for now.
Wait for the tool to be released. :_(

To those who bricked there device by locking bootloader and cannot access fastboot or recovery were to go to nearest service center.. They will reflash it for free since its software related...
And also unlocking your phone will not void your warranty as realme stated on there twitter post and on realme community..
If you go to service center just tell them it got corrupted when your upgrading your device... simple as that...

Hi, as you said I sent my phone to sc because of bootloop but addition to flashing original rom they changed my screen and a mechanic part of device which I do not know what it is. My phone is realme 5i and there is a chronic problem of the phone like lagging, fast battery drain, and yellow color defect under sunlight on screen kind of problems after android 10 update(phone was working perfectly with android 9). But after sc repair lag and battery problem is gone completely. Do you think there was an manufacturing defect on some of realme 5i devices or flashing stock rom etc. reqiure changing part and screen?

Its hardware problem i guess and not related to rom flashing/update... And if its rom update then not only your phone would have the same problem but all realme 5i who recieved android 10 will have the same outcome like yours..
I was flashing pixel experience ROM in RN7pro through recovery & my phone got completely dead. No led blinking, charging, vibration, nothing just dead. I opened the back panel & tried it to flash by test point, phone got detected in my PC, & I got excited that my phone gonna revive after flashing. But happiness remained for few seconds when I saw error hello packets error asking mi authorization account. Next day went to local mobile technician he revived my phone by using UFI box they looted me 1200rs. I made mistake no to go Mi service center first as I saw a guy in xda forum revived his RN7pro by visiting service center. He paid 180rs for that. I don't know why Xiaomi locks edl mode now.
How to flash by testpoint?can u explain me
You have to open back cover of Redmi note 7 pro & short the edl point with some metallic pins like bent wire, tweezers. You can only flash by edl if you have permission by xiaomi otherwise you have to go service center.
i have a question " are u talking about reballing emmc and using ufi box afterwards?"
because my phone recently got water damaged and camera failed to launch i had given to friend of mine who worked in mi service centre and he while flashing miui bricked it and he got it working afterwards but he said he had done reballing.
so is it okey after doing reballing to flash custom rom or it can brick my device again?
I'm a newbie to these kind of things and I really ruined up my phone really bad after trying to fix my problem after failed to install lineage custom rom to the point where my phone keep rebooting for every 20 second on bootloader mode.
Before that I also did a mistake when twrp suddenly changes to stock recovery, I tried to install official lastest rom from realme page via stock recovery while the custom rom still attached to the system, leading my phone to “Image broke” screen but that problem already fixed up by the official service center. They did managed to reinstall the stock rom but they said the custom rom still attached and the only way they can do is to replace the machine for about 70% of my phone’s price which is really pricey for an university student like me. Post-condition after they reinstalled the stock rom is my phone is stuck at Realme logo with Powered by Android.
Is there any other way to fix this problem specifically for realme 5?

bro, ineed your help,my phone just got hard brick after i flash, and now i dont know what to do
yesterday I accidentally deleted magisk, after that my smart phone got bootlooped, I was confused and didn't know what to do, then I thought about formatting the data, but there was an error in the process (orangefox ywrp)
with a reading like this failed to mount vendor
Well, after that I was even more confused, right, what really happened, after looking for many sources, I flashed it with Mi Flash, and I downloaded the rom file for my Poco X3 NFC, but suddenly flashed an error, flash xbl error , well, my cellphone was hit by a hard brick, what should I do, please answer, my parents are very angry with me
sorry,im bad at english
As long as phone can get powered on, it's not hardbricked, but softbricked.
My recommendation: take phone to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.
